I have three custom fields all built the exact same - Product Category, Product Sub-Category, and Product Brand. Each of these are reference fields that point to a separate Custom Entity. The Product Category and Product Sub-Category work fine but the Product Sub-Category throws this error when added to the Inventory Part screen:   

Hi IFS community, We have a few PO´s which are open. One of our departments has asked us to close them because the supplier  isn´t going to deliver them us.How do we change the PO status to closed? Currently the PO´s status is received andit has part order lines. We don´t want to receive them via register purchase order arrival tab as it will cause problems in inventory transactions history when preparing the stock count. Please could you help us out on this?

Hi,   We have situation where single CAMT file is loaded to External Payment as multiple records. Multiple Load IDs in External Payment are created for Single External File Transaction Load File ID. Do you know any specific reason for this? can this be related to Payment Dates?   Thanks

When the Pool-keep task has a duration and when the mobile user accepts the pool-task it gives the below Failed transaction.ORA-20105: JtExecutionInstance.FINISHDATENOTWITHIN: Allocated interval is too short for the allocated hours.Has anyone encountered this? Hello!I’m wondering if there is any way to change applied date (31.01.2021) of inventory transaction which has already been transferred and posted as MPL voucher. I need to place the loss/profit in a different accounting period (01.2023) than it is now accordingly to applied date. Any tips are welcome.Thanks

Hi community!I have recently received a need from the business where we are looking into if it is possible to require our timeclock users to provide a reason if there is a deviation to their timestamp vs their work schedule. Since I have worked very little with the “Time Management” in IFS Apps 10 I wanted your initial feedback if this is even possible out of the box in IFS?To elaborate here is and example of what we are trying to achieve:Employee-1 is on a schedule where he is working Mon-Fri 08.00 to 16.00.On Tuesday he goes to the dentist and is not able to clock in before 09.00 which means that he is working 1 hour less that day than what his schedule says.We would like a solution where he is prompted to insert a reason (hopefully predefined list of values) for his 1-hour delay.The reason for us wanting this is that according to the Norwegian work regulations some absence is with pay, and some is not. Best regardsJoakim

I would like to know how to manage if there is a ban forbidding export to a certain country. So that, the customer order /sales quotation is not allowed to progress (stopped when releasing).I thought we can use the denied party-customer in the export control menu as shown below   But, we can release an order on a customer with a denied country.As mentioned in the page help : “Information about the parties that should be denied for use in an order can be filled in on the Denied Party-Supplier, Denied Party-Customer, Denied Party-Forwarder and Denied Party-End User pages which will then be considered before releasing orders.”I worry that something’s going to get missed somewhere.Anyone can help me ?

We are in IFS9 - I need to set-up an authorization Routing template or rule - not sure which might have what I need, that will allow me to have a back-up authorizer.  In other words, we only need one person to authorize, but we want to add another to cover when they are not available.  I have it set-up in the Routing template with both Authorizers at Step No 10 - but that requires both to authorize.  If I change the set-up so the Step No are 10 & 20, it still requires both to authorize but in an order.Is there a way to have 2 individuals but only require 1 authorization?  If not through the template, may another option?  Thanks!

Hi, I would like to know why do we have a code part function ‘Internal’ when a page to include/exlcude IL code part already exists, what is the purpose of Code Part Function - Internal? and what is the difference between ‘Code Part Function - Internal’ and ‘Internal Code Parts’? If I mark the Code Part Function as Internal, then will this code part not be used in GL? And what is the Code Part Function - Internal Elimination used for? Thanks for your inputs. Best regardsRutuja

We have an standard “Terms and Conditions” PDF file we need to be able to send with the standard Quotations Report from IFS Cloud.  This should be a default attachment every time a quotation is emailed or printed.Any good instruction how to set up this in IFS Cloud? 

As far as I know, the ‘import company template’ function is not available in Cloud. we used this functionality to copy companies across instances/environments rather than do the set-up manually in each instance from the scratch. What are the alternatives that IFS cloud has to import a verified set-up from one instance to other (e.g. from pre-prod instance in 22R2 to live). Appreciate some advice here since it requires significant duplication of effort to recreate all of the set-up from the scratch between instances. Thank you,Sandy

Does anyone (I am looking at @Mathias Dahl  😁 here) know whether files in the app server are deleted / cleaned up on a regular basis. The app server file path is defined under DOCUMENT_TICKET_TEMP_PATH of “document default values” Reason for questioning this is, I’ve written an event action based on PDF_REPORT_CREATED job to unpack documents connected to a Purchase Order / Line and email it as an attachment to along with the purchase order. I don’t want the system to clog up by storing temp files in the App Server.Thanks in Advance! Malik
