Hi,How to properly configure so that if the customer exceeds the credit limit, the customer's order will be blocked or a notification will be displayed.

We have a persitent custom field on the Service Contract, where we enter the number of the related Sales Quotation. This works fine.Now on the Sales Quotation Line I would like to fetch the Service Contract ID in a read-only custom field. The select is as simple as it can get. It technically works but it is very (!) slow, especially if there is no contract to be found.Here the speed comparison in PL/SQL Developer: Running the select for a quotation with 67 rows takes 21 seconds (!), if this one custom field is part of the select statement. Without the cf, it takes 0.2 sec. How can I optimize the speed?Thank you for your input! Catherine

Hi  Is there a limit on the lines to be added to a direct transfer? We are in the process of shifting warehouses and we will be reorganising the stock into new bins and just want to find the limit for lines on a direct transfer 

All, I am having trouble understanding how IFS comes up with the average issues over a period. Our periods are set by month. I’m attempting to view the average issues and receipts for period 1 of 2023 (January). IFS indicates I’ve done a qty of 1219 in that period. However, reviewing inventory transaction history, I am only seeing 1170. Is there another location in IFS that also determines issued qtys? The help doesn’t seem to indicate any specific location or even the transactions it considers to be issues (Counts, Shipments, etc.). any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

Is there any direct way to know the Reconciled ID of an invoice when it is matched with a bank reconciliation?Currenlty we need to manually navigate in the Cash Account reconciled transaction analysis to find the reconciled id of a particular invoice

For quite some time now we have been struggling to get the ISO20022  pain.001.001.03 file to transfer Plusgiro payments for us. Danske Bank has told us not to use the combination SESBA and 9600, but to leave these both fields blank. It all sounds simple enough but we just don’t seem to get it right anyway. Any clues?

Hello,I am currently trying to print off customer order attachments automatically based off of a certain custom event I created. My main issue is that there does not seem to be a great way to sort through all of the listed items on the Document Object Connection window and print them off.I would be sorting based off of the object key, which I can do just fine, but I am not sure how IFS workflows can be designed to go through all of the different items in this list. I could do it normally in javascript if there was an object that acted as a list/array, but it seems like workflows want to be built with loop sub processes, to handle lists. Does anyone have an example workflow that I might be able to use for reference? I haven’t found much luck with the technical documentation.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Can someone explain how we can remove an excess Inventory Reservation of a Part that is Stuck in a ‘Shipment’ Type Location? I’ve seen a lot of ASC Customers facing this problem of having potentially ‘Stuck’ inventory in  ‘Shipment’ Type Locations due to various reasons (in Most Cases, we don’t know how they end up having such unusable Stuck Inventory Reservation). For example,  They have an ‘Invoiced/Closed’ Customer Order Line, with a None Zero ‘Reserved Qty’ value. When you look at the Inventory side Reservation, Part is currently in a ‘Shipment’ Type Location. If the Location type is ‘Picking’ we could simply Unreserve the Stock through a Data Repair (Because it becomes Available stock as soon as the Unwanted reservation is Removed), but for a ‘Shipment’ Type Location, you can’t have ‘Unreserved’ stock. I would like to know whether any of you came across this issue in past, if so how you managed to get over this situation?

Hello Experts,Could you please assist me with a concern related to the FSM mobile app?A customer has reported that some users need to reactivate their mobile device, and I have attached a screenshot for reference. I have been advised to delete the mobile record from the PERSON_MOBILE table as a workaround. Hello Community,Currently, the production planning department has a very interesting question.They want to know (and of course see in IFS) how long a shop order will block a certain physical production area.Example: Shop Order 12 occupies all of room B and one-fourth of the production space in room A. The scheduling of the production area is of course also related to other shop orders and can therefore not be assigned to the article in a fixed manner.In other words, another resource that can be assigned to the Shop order and is focused on the shop order start and end dates would be required.My first thoughts were on the work centers. These, however, are less flexible because they are assigned to a operation in routing.The concept to (mis)use machine utilization for this, given that we don't use machine hours, also originated in the department. Do you have any implementation suggestions? Hi, all,In my test pass of upgrading IFS9 to IFS10, I found the IFS connect for our EDI message stopped working, it just did not pick up the xml files as in IFS9.   The original setting in the FTP Reader, Routing Rule and Routing Address looked normal, but after putting the uploading xml file in the FTP site, nothing happened (In IFS9, the uploading files will disappear within minutes).  And there were no any messags under Application Messages, either error or successful.   Could anyone shred some insight to me ?thanks in advance,David

How is the duration of a downtime clocking calculated? Is this determined by the calendar on the Work Center, the Manufacturing Calendar on the Site, or something else? Is the available/theoretical capacity of the Work Center Resource accounted for?

We do a lot of manual dispatching, and the dispatcher will typically sort the Unallocated orders in the DC by ZIP or ETA (or other criteria). If they find 10 orders with the same ZIP they want to dispatch they drag and drop this on the SAs timeline. If they are not quick enough to select the next order, the DC will resort the Unallocated table, and the dispatchers have to scroll down again from the top (it takes 3-5 seconds before this happens). Any idea if we can change the time it takes before this happens or something?

I have the exact same Excel Migration Job over BUS_OBJ_REPRESENTATIVE in our DEV and TEST environments and they do not perform the same.   The migration job in DEV will perform a modification as expected and return the “Updated” result.The migration job in TEST will not perform the requested update and returns a result of “Business Object Representative already exists”.   of course it exits, I want to update the “Representative Type” associated with the record.We have check all permissions and have no idea what would be causing the difference in functionality.Any help is greatly appreciated. Sincerely,Vince

Hi I am extracting data to PowerBI.I want to extract cost of sales and revenue for all customer order shipments.I want to combine shipment & order line data with GL voucher data (account, sales group) We are on Apps 9.I can’t figure out the links to do this.I want to start from closed/completed shipment lines.  COST OF SALES:SHIPMENT_ORDER_LINE_OVW → links to → SHIPMENT, CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE & CUSTOMER_ORDER using shipment_id, order_no, line_no, rel_no & line_item_no. Easy!INVENTORY_TRANSACTION_HIST2 → links to → MPCCOM_ACCOUNTING → links to → vouchers & voucher rows on accounting_id. Easy!But what is the link from shipment lines to inv trans hist? INVENTORY_TRANSACTION_HIST2 has fields SOURCE_REF1,2,3,4 & 5.1,2,3&4 are clearly Customer Order, Line, Rel, Lini Item (for SOURCE_REF_TYPE = Customer Order)What is SOURCE_REF5… Help says its delivery reference… so I think it is the key to link back to shipment line…. but cant find where it links to.                    

A window with Notes field ​​​​​The problem in these Notes fields is that, when it contains quite a lot of text, it’s hard to get a good overview of the text. The way forward for the moment is to use a different tool to write the text and then copy it to the field. The same goes for reading, the text needs to be copied into a different tool. This way of working can't be the intention as there is a function for Notes in the framework.​​​​​​A Window with “Notepad’ functionIs it possible to get this “Notepad” function for some other windows as well?
