Just installed the latest version IFS Developer Studio,  22.1E.9419 (Build 2023-05-11 10:06).   Once installed, I could not open my existing project.  I re-cloned the repository and once I did that, it would open the project, but now, it will not save the database connections in the project.  I have added and tested them and they are good, but when I close the screen to add them, the database still shows the broken icon:I have downloaded the older version of IFS Developer Studio (21.82.856800), and it works fine.   I will add that we are on IFS release 10, update8.    Thank you in advance for your help! 

Hi guys, Is anyone can explain how we can send a custom field to mobility (if not dispayed), but futhermore stop sending it to the mobile app ?The reason is that sometimes we have an issue because a custom field sent to the mobile is updated in Back-office. If the technician is off-line, the field is not updated in mobility and when technician is able to rensend data (closed activity for instance), then this custom field is updated from mobility with the wrong value. Goodmoring all, I’ve got 8 employee in my team that do field work and also work from home. The workload from home is sort of servicedesk job.  I’m looking for the best way to make this vissable in the dispatch console.  For now we make a private activity to define if the work home or not. Does astea has a better way to make this  vissable ? any suggestions ?

Hi,When you create a process flow for service order document and adding a condition :Here, you cannot see the address criteria on the list (document/sub document) for the condition: For example : when the address of the SV is updated then do th PF Action (XML action) 1/ Do you know a way to add the field “Address” on the condition list ?2/ Do you know if it’s possible with PF data enrichment ? Thanks and Regardsanthony

We’re in IFS APP10 and a quick report (SQL) of which the source is an IAL (i.eSELECT … FROM IFSINFO.C_SOME_IALWHERE ...) fails to export to excel. When clicked on the function, it shows the quick report execution dialog to enter parameters and then shows the error when pressed ok  This quick reportThis does not happen to another standard quick report for example with permission to “IFS_ALL” but even if “IFS_ALL” is granted to this report, it still gives the same error.Our other quick reports done without using IALs do not give this error, therefore I believe the IAL is not readable to the Export to Excel function.Questions:Is this a permission issue ( with the quick report or IAL or Both?) If so, which exact permissions need to be granted to make the stream readable?Thanks in advance!

On a MS level 1 part IFS seems to be adding in numbers to the consumed forecast column that is then effecting the projected balance of the part and we don’t understand why? The forecast is entered manually into “demand forecast” page therefore previous the week is over written we believe so there shouldn’t be any figures in this column.Is this to do with the promise method? (set to Available to Promise).Forecast Consumption currently set to “drop”.thanks

Hi,Trying to create a WO using the projection SimpleWorkReportingAssistantHandling in 22R2. As the first step, the necessary information is inserted into an virtual and it is successful. Final step is to invoke POST https://carrix-stg.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/SimpleWorkReportingAssistantHandling.svc/SimpleWorkReportingSet(Objkey='{Objkey}')/IfsApp.SimpleWorkReportingAssistantHandling.SimpleWorkReportingVirtual_Finish.Here, the objkey is needed from the previous step as a Path Parameter and it does not accept a request payload. I was able to extract the objkey using the below method.But unable to connect the objkey as a Path Parameter to the URL.Any ideas?Thank You!

I am trying to create a Custom Field on the Purchase Order that pulls the Lead Engineer from a WO into the PO as the Order Contact. I am trying to get this to work and having problems doing so, it is not showing an error but I am not seeing the Lead Engineer. Just the first assigned Engr. What would my SQL be for this, I have tried:Select RESOURCE_ID from JT_EXECUTION_INSTANCE_UIV WHERE WO = :WO AND TASK_LEADER_DB IS NOT NULLand I have also tried:Select RESOURCE_ID from JT_EXECUTION_INSTANCE_UIV WHERE WO = :WO AND TASK_LEADER_DB = TRUECan anyone help with the SQL? Thanks,   

We recently made a change to our PO Authorization Rules and we are now struggling because we are unable to receive the orders which were authorized per the old rules because the system errors out at receiving and requires re-authorization per the new rules.  Is there any way to work around this and allow prevent the re-authorization at receiving?

Hi, In Astea Alliance there is a call button next to the customer contact number. When pressed error message comes with CTI is Unavailble. Is it possible to call with Astea Alliance or to connect it with a voip centrale for example avaya?. If so which are supported.  thanks in advance,

I have unchecked the “active”  checkbox to make a certain Scheduling Exception inactive, however this exception type still appears. is there another step i’m missing?

Hi all,does anybody have the practical expirience with UoM different than hours on the level of Work Center? How does it work together with UoM of the manufactured part? What is the impact on the lead time? Is there any documentation on this topic (not just describing that you can fill here different UoM than Hours which is the default)? Hello,We’re on APPS 10 UPD16. On Procurement > Order > Purchase Order screen, we have already the “Order No” field automatically filled in with a # when we save/adding new records. I would like to have this field non-editable by the end-users, so that we don’t end up with orders out of the autogenerated sequences we programmed in. Is there a way to “grey out” this field, but still let the autogenerated numbers to be saved in?Thank you! paul.

Our “maxpossiblespeedmps” is currently set to 40 and “maxspeedmps” is 26.  what is the different between these parametres?
