Can anyone please explain the difference between Project Program and Project category?
Just want to understand the purpose and difference. I couldn’t find more details in the manuals

Hi,
A Program is to combine multiple projects that are connected to each other in some way,
for example a Feasibility study and a building project in EPC, or multiple project on different Companies have the same Program ID. But usually all for the same end result the same vessel building or plant
A project category defines the type of project so the Feasibility project and the Building project above have different category of project. They are differently classified, and maybe have a different financial handling via the posting control.
