Can anyone tell me how the Costs are calculated on a Work Task? It is zero for some Work Tasks in my IFS when it should not be (see attached). It is only occurring on Cost Type “Personnel”  The employees it is happening with have the required privileges. I have tried to debug it but I can’t see where the calculation is made. I am on Apps10.

Hello, ich have a customer who uses IFS App 7.5 to print reports. Everything worked fine until the user received a new computer running on Windows 11.When a report from IFS is printed following error appears:Error encountered loading library RDWI15.DLL.The printer ist installed correctly and office documents can be printed normal.Did someone face the same problem?BTW all priviliges are set correctly.Best regards Kai

I have a cancelled PM line that is still showing in my maintenance plan. When I try to delete it, the error messages states it should be marked as not generatable. However, I cannot do that, as the line is cancelled. Is there any way to remove/clear this?

We assigned shift to resource but it doesn't show in dispatch console . 

We want that in calendar technician should be visible 14 days as working and 14 days as on break for each month for the whole year. How this can be achieved.

Hi All.I’ve just updated APPS10 from UPD14 to 17 and I’m getting this failed transaction in Aurena Mobile MWO Maintenance 10.The Assgnment is updated but the error occurs and also the flag “transfered to mobile” in worktask is still checked.Instance of entity MOBILE_WORK_ORDER with objid [AAAT4TAAGAAAXsMAAl] not found in database.Tried to find this mobile seq in tab but there is not anymore.Tks a lot

Hello,  I have been using a tax code which type is calculated tax. I created an instant invoice with this tax code and was expecting the posting to use the transaction code IP9 and IP10 to record the calculated tax but tax was posted using the IP4 ; has anyone met this issue and do you know how to post to IP9 and IP10 directly ?  Thank youTanya

Hi Experts,  I’m creating an eForm (Maintenance Survey) and I need to display a statement with multiple lines after few questions in the survey (Please find the below example). I’m hoping to use a statement type question for this and it only allows to add statements with a single line. Please add your advices if there is a way to fulfill this requirement. Example:  TOPIC:    - Statement 1    - Statement 2   - Statement 3 Thank you in advance!

I think the answer is probably going to be no but you never know so I’ll ask anyway.In the same company we have two distinct business units that both use projects but in the same way. Lets call them business unit A and business unit B. Both business units have different sets of engineers assigned to them. Business unit A wants to prohibit engineers from business unit B from booking time to projects belonging to business unit A.. We thought about using project access on but that casts too wide a net and would impact common support groups like purchasing and finance that support both business units which would make the access groups painful to continually maintain. We were hoping at the time entry level there was an easy way to make projects (or sub projects, or activities for that matter) invisible to those engineers that shouldn’t be able to book time to them..   

Hello, According to the help text of the Last periodic WA date field in inventory part > Costs > Periodic WA Info Purch it says this field is getting updated after running the job Calculate Periodic Weighted Average. Last Periodic WA Date Purch:The date on which the value in Cum Price Difference field was used to calculate and set a new periodic weighted average cost for the part. This value is read-only, and is updated if you run the background job started in the Calculate Periodic Weighted Average dialog box.I created a purchase order for this part and received it. Manually supplier invoice has also been created and posted. After running the job Calculate Periodic Weighted average, Cum price difference field has been updated but not the Last periodic WA date Purch as below.  I need to understand in which instances the field Last periodic WA date Purch is updated. Any clue is highly appreciated.  

Hi All, Our customer has multiple parts with various configurations. As part of a way to communicate with 3rd parties they would like to be able to export all Configurations ID’s and their related characteristics and values. But it seems we are running into some issues finding out where that information is stored inside IFS Cloud. Does anyone have any tips where we should look for that info? Best RegardsRoel

i have created a grid view form to display the payroll summary in c# form, now i want to call it from payrol calculation screen of IFS by passing payroll id.  i know i can call the form by using external program. I dont know how to pass parameters.

Is it possible to receive inventory parts and connect to a project activity without raising a PO? We cannot seem to achieve this on the Receive Inventory Part screen.

We are looking for a solution to capture multiple attributes on an installed item. A dropdown list similar to the Problem Codes field on a service order is desirable but this does not seem to be an option in customizer.

We are using Alliance 14 (HF24)  Dispatch Console users are reporting issues with Google Maps and getting an error message “An error occurred while trying to load the map: The remote server returned an error (404). Not Found.. Save the Event log so that it can be sent to Astea for analysis.”   

We have projects connected to / invoiced via customer orders.The customer order lines in these cases are for non-inventory sales parts / service parts.As the revenue numbers are not like expected (some lines are missing in actual revenue) we did some analysis, and found empty cost element fields in project connections.Question: where can we add a cost element to a non-inventory sales part? a default cost element  called  “Missing Cost element”  for all missing cost elements? Is there any checklist / recommendation, what masterdata is necessary to have correct calculations in a project?Apps 10 Upd 11Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina

Hi Team, I'm hoping to connect customer invoice PDF document back to customer order. Following is the report rule :   and following are the actions: When I invoiced customer order, it does not create any record at 'Report rule log' page and same time there is no error in Print manager as well.Could anyone here suggest, what are the changes should be made to actions?Cloud version 22R2
