If the invoice number is not available in the above file how can we add that to the external fileThank you

We have recently upgraded from Metrix 5.3.3 to FSM 6.15. Now our previously fast manual addition of new task notes, or updates of existing task notes is taking a very long time. The best we get is 12 seconds, but this can exceed 20 seconds at times. Our investigations so far show now problem with Database speed so we are assuming the problem may be with the update of the user interface, but were not sure. has anyone else had similar issues and if so how were they resolved?

Hi!I have been able to get my integration partner to upload pictures to the media library in IFS using a Rest Patch call, but the response when doing a successful upload is empty.Is there anyway I can override this response and write an own Json response, saying “everything went ok”?This is on IFSAPP 10. 

Community, I have below PR authorization rule configured. you can see i have below checkbox highlighted unchecked. below PR is authorized using the above PR rule.but if I using RMB function on PR line,  Update Price Manually, you still can update the PR price to make a change.is this a bug?

When creating a brand-new page for a list based on Custom Logical Unit, I am encountering the following error. My customer is currently on 22R2 SU7 and I believe I did the exact process I am listing below a few months earlier to create a simple custom list which is still working. Is it possible to use AD for security checkpoint sign off in IFS Cloud?  We are currently upgrading from Apps 9 to Cloud 22R2 and have some concerns with using PIN Codes vs. AD.  AD allows us to have rules in place to comply with 21CFR part 11.If we use a PIN Code we would have to determine how to ensure the followingCodes should not be sequential nor repetitive (e.g. 0000 nor 12345)? Require user to change after x period of time? Can’t reuse same code over x period of time?So our preference would be to use AD in Cloud if possible. 

Hi everyone!I’m using POSTMAN to upload documents to IFS Cloud 21R2 and have successfully uploaded to the document manager with many thanks to the people who provided the detailed information in this topic: My requirement is to upload to the media library rather than the docman so I’ve also looked at this topic (again, many thanks to the contributors):I’ve used MediaLibraryAttachmentHandling.svc/CreateAndConnectMedia to get the ItemId and then I’ve tried to patch with MediaLibraryAttachmentHandling.svc/MediaLibrarySet(LibraryId='1013') and also MediaItemHandling.svc/MediaItemSet(ItemId=1013). Whatever I try to upload fails with unsupported content type.I tried just providing a png or a jpg file and let POSTMAN set the headers: Following the instructions in the above post I then specifically set the content type, if-match and X-IFS-Content-Disposition I can successfully upload both png and jpg as media files as a user.Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

When you set up Rules of type ‘Commit Rule’ you have the option to include a Rule Window and a Day Pattern.Multiple Commit Rules can be defined with different windows/days, and these can be included in a single Rule Collection. When the SDS runs, only one of the rule seems to be evaluated.Is this a PSO constraint or a bug? There are various scenarios that this could be used for including:Committing 2 Activities on Monday-Friday, but only 1 at a time on Saturday and Sunday Committing 2 Activities between 06:00 and 14:00, but only 1 at a time after 14:00 Having one rule with no Next Day Commit that runs from 06:00-15:00, and another with Next Day Commit that runs after 15:00 so that both the time of day and time to end of shifts is used when determining when to commit the next day’s activities

I was wondering if anyone could explain the core difference between functional Role permissions and end user role Permissions and maybe an example of how they are used. We are needing / wanting to better control IFS Permissions so I am wanting to create permissions based on Business Roles so all the Service Advisors will have the same permissions, the supervisors will have the same permissions etc.Would that be Functional or End User or am I required to create both?Thanks,

Hello again,Unfortunately in my role I’m not an assyst Admin and I’m kept an arms length away from the staff that do the work, so I have to research and determine a solution then put in my request.I’m trying to see if a process can get data from an external source. The reason for the external source is it a profile for user access, which contains many different profiles, that change frequently. As such we don’t want to inundate the assyst Admin to change a process or assystNET form each time there’s a change. My idea is that a manger would complete an assystNET with the required information, then assytNET function would pull the date from the external source, then add it to the task. When the task is assinged to the support team all the information is already included and they don’t have to manually look it up. Thanks in advance to those who check it out and don’t respond.C.

Greetings, IFS community. In order to create some entities, I need to use the IFS Studio Developer application. Our IFS version is 22R2.Our IFS is hosted directly by IFS. The Odata Connection information has been provided to me. What is the process for connecting to IFS Developer Studio? Having experience with IFS 10 connecting to IFS developer Studio. Does the Host, Service, User Name, Password, and Schema need to be provided even if the IFS hosts it or there is another way to do so? Thanks,Juan Luis

Hi All, We are currently using MWO Service 10 (UPD 9) and we use the Maintenance Survey functionality by having E-forms triggered when se use the ‘Start Work’ button after accepting Work from the Pool Work. And we have noticed that some Answer IDs are there without a Task Sequence and WO number in the DB side and the Survey Answer page. Would you kindly advise if that could be fixed? Many thanks.-ISD- 

We have recently purchased some new Equipment that comes with a 2 Year Warranty from the OEM. We want to set up in IFS the Warranty Terms so we can ensure that any repair work conducted within the Warranty Period can be identified and submitted to the OEM as a Warranty Claim. Can any one provide some direction / documentation on how to set up Warranty on Serial Objects so we can trace repair work?Thanks in advance

I have exhausted my searching and research into document management and cannot resolve this issue.I have a user setup that can attach and view their own attachments but not other user’s attachments.Both users are part of the document class group.  All documents have been approved.When I assign the user DOCMAN_ADMINISTRATOR, they can view the documents.  I have read the Document Access help page and it did not help.

Trying to add a custom Attribute to the Work Task Screen however the created custom Attribute does not show up in the field list. Trying to add to the Work Task (JTTask).the custom attribute was added to JTTask from the Entity Configuration and published.When i go back to the Page Designer on the Work Task screen and search for the field. no fields show up.  Would anyone be able to shed some light? 

Hello All, I have noticed that when using the drag-and-drop feature in Aurena, the changes are not properly reflected in IEE until after a period of time. I have not seen any documentation, but I am assuming there is a routine/background job that runs to update them. Is that correct? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

Our business is on v10 IEE , and we use Kanban Circuits for manufactured parts, many of which contain more than one Kanban Card in circulation at one time. The business requests that we track the specific Kanban Card Number (or Barcode ID) which initiated a particular Shop Order Requisition. For example - perform Kanban Replenishment Request job, type in / scan the Kanban Card Number / Barcode ID (which will be one of several Card Numbers for a given part), and the result is a Shop Order Requisition is created using the details from that Kanban Circuit. The request is to have visibility into the specific Kanban Card Number used during this process on the Shop Order Requisition, such as in a read only custom field or in a report. I have not seen how this detail can be found in the database or using APIs. Has your business faced a similar request, and discovered a solution or workaround to achieve the desired result?

Hello, I want to rename my operational reports when they print off. The file names are usually the Report Id with the result key. I’ve created a report rule to set property of the document file name but that didnt seem to work. Am I using this incorrectly? Everything seems fine based off of the technical documentation. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan
