While implementation work proceeds the customer has been in touch to say that they are unable to connect to REST apis using both Boomi and Postman Web Apps. Using an installed Postman client on their PCs, they are able to connect ok, Hence it only appears to happen when connecting from a web client.

Kindly share your thoughts on how to  tackle this issue.

This is the error they receive from the Boomi Web App:

Hi Udanee 👋

Seems that this error is due to restrictions in the firewall. Talk to your network team and ask them to whitelist the boomi platform and postman IPs.

Probably below links will help to find the IPs to be whitelisted.

boomi: https://help.boomi.com/bundle/atomsphere_platform/page/c-boo-Hostnames_and_IP_Addresses_for_Connecting.html

Postman web: https://support.postman.com/hc/en-us/articles/10667371814679-What-IP-ranges-does-Postman-use-to-send-requests-

Internal user IPs should be whitelisted in order to allow access to IFS Cloud .That’s why it’s possible to make the call using an installed Postman client on their PCs :)

Cheers!
