Hello,

I’m in 23R1, it is a new database for us.  I’m trying to use Page Designer but when I save, I get a message the system gives me this message:

Your system administrator has not granted permission to complete that action.

Does anyone know what permission it is that I need to be granted?

Thank you.

Patrick

I think Page Designer is driven by the permission set CUSTOM_OBJECTS_ADMIN which is in the grant structure of the FND_ADMIN permission set.

Depending on what else you need to do in IFS Cloud, the FND_ADMIN permission set will essentially open up Solution Manager to your user, making you an application administrator.

Hi @PIreland,

Page Designer will be available to any user with FND_ADMIN permission set. The specific projection related to this is “CustomPagesHandling”.

Therefore you can try granting this projection to the relevant permission sets.

Hope this helps!

@Charith Epitawatta Is there a way to identify exactly which features will be granted by “CustomPagesHandling”?

My concern is that there would be unintended features granted along with Page Designer. In other words, is it possible to grant Page Designer but not Navigator Designer or Appearance Designer?
