I got all signed up and figured out which courses I wanted to go through, but when viewing them, they will play about 70% complete, then fail to finish.  I thought maybe it was a Chrome issue, so I logged into IFS Academy in Microsoft Edge and still behaved the same way.Has anyone had this experience?   Thanks, Michael

With the type 'Check In To Document Management' in the report rules it is possible to create a document revision with the report when printing a report. If I configure the Document No in the property list as follows 'DocumentNo=[@CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP/INVOICE_NO];' the revision is not created. If I omit the DocumentNo property, a new Document No is created each time the report is printed. How can I implement in the report rules that a document revision is created which is revised when the report is printed again?

Hopefully an easy question to save me (and others) having to test this: Does CreateAndImportDocument.svc work with FTP repository or only database?

How are the “Utilization Statistics” in a Work Center will be calculated and generated? I can not found a related topic in the documentation.

Hello all,I’m trying to clone a dev instance from one server to another and the new server is failing to create the client.war file when reconfiguring or installing the instance. Currently, we have tried:Cloned the instance, copied the clone to the new server, and ran restore_clone.sh Ran installer.sh and reconfigured the instance Deleted the instance, recreated the instanceI’ve followed the details in this article as well as this article to no avail. The client deployment is completely missing from both the repository and instance folders. Here is the error message that we’re getting in Firefox:I’ve attached the error message that we get in chrome as well.Any help is appreciated.

Hi community,I defined a new invoice type and series ID for supplier. Then I assigned the new invoice type to supplier as default invoice type for manual invoice. When I create a new invoice for the supplier, invoice type and series ID are populated from supplier basic data however invoice no field is not read only as expected. See my steps below Define a new series ID Select series ID and click invoice number series button. Enter valid from, start value, end value and next value in detail window. Define a new supplier invoice type and select previously created invoice series ID for definite invoice series ID. Go to supplier master and change default invoice type for Manual to newly created invoice type.  Create a new supplier invoice. See that invoice type and series ID info is populated from supplier master. However, invoice no field is not read only as expected. If you manually assign the invoice type for any supplier then the field is read only. Can someone test in reference enviro

Can anyone please give me some guidance. Basically what I am trying to is process an email via assystETM to log a ticket against a specific service offering, this service offering will have custom fields which I want to populate with data from the body of the email.So for example I want to take the string after the text Name: from the email body to populate a single string value custom field in my Service Offering form, the field name shortcode is FULLNAME.In my data mapper in assystETM I have added the below The ticket is successfully logging against the correct custom form and service offering, however when I am trying to populate the custom field whatever I am trying is not working and field remains blank. Has anyone done something similar? If so can you please tell me what I am doing wrong and offer a bit of guidance.

We have an issue where customer orders and customer invoices are not created when trying to invoice a work order. A customer is set up with a service contract with invoice type Free of Charge:And on the Work order invoice type is set to free of charge:We can generate an invoice preview:But no connected customer order is generated. There’s a background job with description “Creating Customer Order for Invoice Preview ID 742.” and status ready, so there are no errors to trance. Could it be that no invoice is generated due to invoice type free of charge? If so, if, for some orders we’d like to charge the customer for a part of the service - is there a way without having to change the Free of charge setting on the service contract? We’d like to be able to do it but it’s not occurring every time. We have IFSAPP10.17.

Hi,I am testing the Expense sheet process first time. But i stuck in between. Actually i created an Expense Sheet and processed the payment through Employee payment screen. I am ok with the voucher entry for Expense booking but for payment it is hitting the posting type EP2 and not PP1. Also the payment is not available in the sub ledger (Cash Book) as well. Am i missing with any setup?...Can anyone please help me.Thanks in advance.

Hi,Customer wants to user these 2 dates (not before / Not after), and to be able to adjuste them in case of re-scheduling.What is the good use of these 2 dates ? But when we set these 2 dates, then they are then unactive, and can’t be updated.  Is there any parameter for that ? How can we update these 2 dates and so the ETA date afterwards ? Thank you

 I have created a migration job which is used to migrate data into some custom fields in a core table. this included some reference fields as well. I have mapped the objkey for those reference fields and everything seems ok. But when I execute the job, core method get executed and during the execution of the customer method I get the below error. any idea on this ?"ORA-20105: Message.ATTRNOTFOUND: Attribute "SQL" does not exist in message "..."”  

Hello everyone ,  I need to create a custom event that triggers when the status of the customer order is closed .My problem is that I can’t find state column ( sql column for status ) in the list of column available in customer_order_tab .PS : I can find it in the view but not in the table  Does anyone have an idea how to get it ? Thank you in advance.Hanane

I’m getting an error in Print Manager, (An item with the same key has already been added) but the report is still printing. What would cause this? If i print through ‘Order Report’ I don’t get the error. I ger the error if I print using  RMB sql action or when I print using an event trigger sql action. It happens now on two different reports with different views. Has anybody else seen this error when printing?Thank you,

When trying to save a modified (Prior Published versions already available) Business Reporter Excel report, nothing happens. If tried to Run the report without saving, the following error appears.errorIfs.Application.Br.Core.ErrorHandling.ReportException: Software failure\nUnexpected error at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.ReportDesigner.RowColumn.SaveGui() at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.ReportDesigner.ReportGridPane.SaveGui() at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.ReportDesigner.ReportDesignPane.SaveGui() at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.MainWorkbook.PrepareReportExecution() Have already removed the add in and reinstalled/ restarted to try to avoid this error. Other reports seem to save, even the same report with a change like adding an empty sheet makes the save dialog appear. But after working on a sheet I get this error. What is going wrong here? Thanks in advance.

Just installed the latest version IFS Developer Studio,  22.1E.9419 (Build 2023-05-11 10:06).   Once installed, I could not open my existing project.  I re-cloned the repository and once I did that, it would open the project, but now, it will not save the database connections in the project.  I have added and tested them and they are good, but when I close the screen to add them, the database still shows the broken icon:I have downloaded the older version of IFS Developer Studio (21.82.856800), and it works fine.   I will add that we are on IFS release 10, update8.    Thank you in advance for your help! 

Hi guys, Is anyone can explain how we can send a custom field to mobility (if not dispayed), but futhermore stop sending it to the mobile app ?The reason is that sometimes we have an issue because a custom field sent to the mobile is updated in Back-office. If the technician is off-line, the field is not updated in mobility and when technician is able to rensend data (closed activity for instance), then this custom field is updated from mobility with the wrong value. Goodmoring all, I’ve got 8 employee in my team that do field work and also work from home. The workload from home is sort of servicedesk job.  I’m looking for the best way to make this vissable in the dispatch console.  For now we make a private activity to define if the work home or not. Does astea has a better way to make this  vissable ? any suggestions ?

We’re in IFS APP10 and a quick report (SQL) of which the source is an IAL (i.eSELECT … FROM IFSINFO.C_SOME_IALWHERE ...) fails to export to excel. When clicked on the function, it shows the quick report execution dialog to enter parameters and then shows the error when pressed ok  This quick reportThis does not happen to another standard quick report for example with permission to “IFS_ALL” but even if “IFS_ALL” is granted to this report, it still gives the same error.Our other quick reports done without using IALs do not give this error, therefore I believe the IAL is not readable to the Export to Excel function.Questions:Is this a permission issue ( with the quick report or IAL or Both?) If so, which exact permissions need to be granted to make the stream readable?Thanks in advance!

On a MS level 1 part IFS seems to be adding in numbers to the consumed forecast column that is then effecting the projected balance of the part and we don’t understand why? The forecast is entered manually into “demand forecast” page therefore previous the week is over written we believe so there shouldn’t be any figures in this column.Is this to do with the promise method? (set to Available to Promise).Forecast Consumption currently set to “drop”.thanks
