when I want to log in to the customer portal on the IFS site, I get an error message with different browsers. Also a reset of the password is no longer possible.What am I doing wrong?

We would like to complete a contra between a customer account and a Supplier Account.  This is not something we have done previously in IFS before and so am unsure if it is even possible.Please can you advise if there is a way to complete this type of transaction in IFS ?  ThanksDarren

Hello all, I am hoping to understanding if the following functionality is possible in IFS Apps 10 UPD 15. Currently, I have a Lot/Batch tracked part where we define a Lot number upon receipt. Currently, the part is set to backflush. I know that if I change the consumption method (issuing), I can force the system to prompt for a Lot Number. Is the same possible for Backflushing? Ideally, when the user is reporting a Shop Order completed qty in SFWB, the system would prompt them to enter the Lot Number of the component part they are consuming. I have not seen anything in the help that would indicate if this is possible. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi Community,We have a Aurena customer facing below issue when trying to view My Time Registration window but a message saying “Could not load metadata for TimeRegistrationEmployee” appears.Here is the problem summary: Re-creatable only in Test and re-creatable in pre-prod as informed by the customer. Managed to re-create for both My Time Registration and Time Registration.There are two user who is facing the issue and the other is viewing it without any issue.Current findings summary:* No issues appeared to be there with data related to Time Registration in “fnd_model_design_data_tab”* No issues appear to be existing in dba_context view * Page Configurations: Unpublished and re-published page configurations relating to time registration. I am looking to see if we can add site address as a search parameter in the console sidebar. We routinely have hundreds of open orders and using address to search is the most efficient method. I have checked every possible setting and have come up empty. If this is not available, can it be added?Thanks, Sean

Migration Jobs are not visible to end user in Excel Plug-in. How do I assign permissions to a specific Job for a specific end user?  We are on APPS 10 UPD# 11. I only what the end user to have access to a specific job.  

Hi All, I have a customer where 1 user is able to connect an Export license and the other is not. The license remains in status ‘Unconnected’ for the other user; When that user asks help from the other user they are immediatley able to get the connected export license in status ‘Approved’. i have been looking into the cause of the issue bu having trouble to identify the issue. When I try to enter a code part value in a project forecast line, I always get an error saying the <code part> is not allowed for this forecast line. From where can we control this? under what condition we can enter a code part values in a forecast line?

Hello,We utilize work task steps on work tasks to indicate different objects that need to have work performed on them as part of the overall work task. We have some scenarios where certain work task steps aren’t able to be completed during that original work task for various reasons. We’d like to be able to “move” that work task step to a different work task so it could be scheduled with other work. However, each work task step gets locked to the task when it’s created. Is there a reason why work task steps get locked to the work task? Is there a different way to be able to move the work task step? Ideally, we’d be able to move the step to a different task while maintaining the unique step number. If this isn’t possible to do, I can’t see to figure out why a step number has to be locked. We can move tasks to different work orders (under certain conditions), so why are steps always locked? We are running Apps 10 update 13.

I’ve inserted a chart in a Business Reporter report.  I added the chart as a separate tab.  When I do this, the report doesn’t seem to work.  Are charts only able to be embedded in the same worksheet, not a separate worksheet from the source information?

Hello, I’m trying to understand the functionality of MS Set 0. Supply Chain Planning>Master Scheduling>Master Schedule SetsI understand Set 1 is system generated and data here is used for MRP/CRP and also as a user I can create multiple user defined sets to use for forecasting, before copying over to Set 1. The field description tells me Set 1 is always “Current” and Set 0 is “Base”. However the help function only refers to MS Set1. Is anyone able to explain the purpose of MS Set 0 and what happens to the data in this set? Thanks!

Apps 10 UPD16 - I’m looking at using Open Balances History and have done some testing but wondering if anyone could confirm what I think to be true - but have a healthy does of skepticism. If we run it for a balance date in the past today it will act like a DeLorean Time Machine and tell us what the outstanding balances and over-due amounts were at that point in time.E.G. - we run it on 03/08/23 but put a Balance Date of 30/05/23 we will see invoices that had just been generated as Outstanding but nothing in Overdue. We then run on 03/08/23 putting a Balance Date of 31/07/23 if that customer was on net-30 day terms and had not paid the Balance it would show as overdue. Even if they had made the payment on 01/08/23. Hoping this is true - if it is, it had saved me a lot of custom dev work!

In FSM6 Update 25, a new enhancement has been added to reduce the messages being extracted between FSM Server and Mobile.  What is the logic that determines “If an update message from FSM Server is not relevant to any of the fields used in FSM Mobile designs?”The name of the new app param indicates that the logic may only be checking if a field exists on a screen in the mobile client.  What about other field changes that are not on a screen but are used in logic to determine behavior?  For example, a client script could select user_def25 from the mobile database, but if that field is not on a screen, an update on the server will not be sent down to mobile.

Community,what is the best practice for us on APP10 without CRO (Component Repair Order)?currently our site in Canada manufactured the product and sell to our sister company in Germany.  currently we don’t have a best practice process (my thoughts) defined in IFS. We are still using RMA to return to Canada site, and lots of manual jobs.my thought isexternal service order at Germany side to send the product for service to Canada Canada site will create service request and receive order (CRO) to receive the product to Canada facility, meantime, create customer order for ship back the product to Germany. Create Repair Work Order from service request. complete the repair service and ship back to Germany.please share your thoughts.Thank you.
