Dear Friends,What is the impact of changing the Revision date of an inventory part to < the created date ?This particular part was created on 02-Apr-2023The user manually changed the Revision date to 02-Feb-2023 Will this have any impact in the inventory process ? Thanks in Advance

Hello, Would it be possible via a Non-Inventory Part number to have different cost and sales prices? Hi Experts, I need your assistance to resolve below issue. Cash Transactions are not visible for a cash account in automatic transactions matching window. I checked below points. Unticked the ‘Exclude matched’ check box to whether transactions are already matched. No transactions were matched before. Got related GL accounts from PP1 posting control and checked in GL voucher row analysis. Transactions are available for related period.    Checked the related mix payment transaction and noticed nothing is unusual.  Then checked in 'Bank statement reconciled transaction analysis' window. No transaction reconciled for related month in related cash account. I checked ‘Cash Transaction Analysis’ window and transaction were visible.  Further, I checked from the Back-end also. Transactions are visible in back-end. Checked in Manual transaction matching window and figured out that related transactions were manually matched.  Then, unticked the manual transaction check box and saved the record.

Hello,Out of all our parts we have many that are “Planned by MS” and many that are “Site MRP”. I have found 4 parts (3 are in the structure of one) which are defined as “Selective MRP”. How would these have been set as “Selective MRP”? Does it result in any difference when MRP is run?Thank you.Regards,Basil

I had a task to request via POST to a third party website and get the response back from the body.I tried this and expected the callback function to return back the body from the request, No, it returns the original BODY used to make the request, not the returned BODY. I really wish IFS would improve it’s REST based functionality, I had to write a C# program and run that on a windows event to perform the task. It would be much, neater if it could be done in PL/SQL. Actually, since this is a Connect based call, it would be awesome. The documentation on the callback function is poor, it was very difficult to find the one of 5 callback methods that apply to this call. We are on IFSAPP9.  Sometimes we manufacture less than a customer orders, but have a policy that we can ship what was manufactured if it is over/under the quantity ordered by 10% or less. Is there an Over/Under I can set on a customer order so that when we short ship or over ship, the Customer Order automatically closes & sets the status to Invoiced/Closed?We are upgrading to IFSAPP10 in May, so if there is nothing available like this in IFSAPP9, is there in IFSAPP10? If not, what would be best practice for closing a Customer Order with a short ship?

I know Planning Method A involves Lot for Lot, meaning there is zero “extra” inventory ordered for parts that have planning method A.  Does this also mean it ignores safety stock or is safety stock considered zero.  For example, if I have a safety stock of 5 will it always suggest orders such that I have a balance of 5?Where can the safety stock calculation be seen for the steps taken to auto update? 

We are using IFSAPPS10. We can generate an excel list to do a customer visit and check on our consignment inventory (IFS Screen:  Warehouse Management > Quantity in Stock > Inventory Part At Customer.  Ideally we would like to use out of the box IFS count functionality. When we check online help, it looks like you can only do count reports for “Inventory Parts In Stock”. Has anyone found a way to generate the count report in IFS for consignment at a customer?

Users are unable to change project managers on projects even though project access is NOT turned on.Based on the help text for this field, it suggests "If access is turned off by clearing the check box, all the access definitions will be deleted and all the users will have access to the whole project"Default value PROJECT_ACCESS property in System Definitions/Object Property  tab is set to OFF.We have project managers leave the business, and then subsequently no one apart from IFSAPP is able to then change it to an active project manager which is causing a lot of issues. Why can't others in the business be able to change project managers when the access is turned off?

The view has been granted privs to SELECT to IFSINFO.
