What’s the significance of having the Print UoM same as the Inventory UoM? Is it mandatory all the time for all the parts? If not, what type of parts should have this? Only its reflected on reports like Picklist?  By the way we don’t use IFS Engineering module, so the field Print UoM in the IFS window ‘Receipe Structure’ is out of question

is it possible to use functions in advance search - IFS 9 

We have a user that is updating Cost set 2 monthly and would like to be able to see a break of Material, Labor and OH for Cost Set 2.  The inventory value report is reporting on CS1 only, and the Inventory Simulation only shows the rolled up costs for manufactured parts.Is there any other reports we could use to get CS2 inventory value that breaks out Material, Labor and OH?  We would really like to be able to run the Inventory value report using the different Cost sets. We are running APPS 9.Rob  

We have a user that is complaining of long load time for the invoice preview in the Instant Authorization screen. We have updated her PDF reader, we have also cleared her local .dll cache to see if it would help - it did not. We don’t have other users reporting, I’m wondering if there is another local file cache that could be filling up (perhaps where the temp documents are stored?)?Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated!

I created a customer order - intersite flow as below.  After releasing the order I performed 'Supply Chain Orders Analysis...' on CO Line.  Go to the Internal PO, RMB on line 'Order Line Details'  'Order Line Address...'.  Notice Single Occurrence check box is selected instead of Default Info. Can someone explain why and how should I keep default info in PO line too.

Hello Is it possible to setup Employee in a way that he could have access to see and authorize their own work in “Authorization” window?  Scenario: Some department heads wants to have a subordinate who would take over the “authorization” of the team including the mentioned employee. We use “Position - Access Setup” and “Graphical Organization Structure” → “Access” to grant mentioned employee a access to other subordinates and ability to “Authorize”, but this method does not allow self “Authorization”. 

I am trying to set up a Sourcing Rule that will select Invent Order where stock exists, but then automatically order any remaining order shortage from the Primary Supplier. So a Customer Order for 10 parts with 5 parts in stock and available. I want the Sourcing Rule to process the 5 parts that are available as Invent Order, and then raise a Purchase Requisition for the remaining 5 parts on the Primary Supplier. for the part. Is this possible? I can only get the Sourcing Rule to select the option that satisfies the whole order quantity, so ignoring the stock available where there is a shortage.

Dear all. One of our customers wants to grant acces to users so they can schedule the GL update voucherAt this moment the schedule button is greyed out. The user have permission to schedule tasks but this button is greyed-out. Where can you adjust this?

I have created a background job that add x days to the Promised Delivery Date, however when the user is in the customer order record when the background job is triggered they receive notification that they cannot save the record as the record has been changed.   Also, the background job reports that a record was FND_LOCKED sometimes.   Is there a table /view where I can view FND_LOCKED items? Where can I go to get information relating to Customer Orders current in use so that I can ‘miss’ out any orders currently in use and then they will be picked up next time the job runs.

On the person screen and place screen, there are many values of places_relationship.①how these values of places_relationship are used in repair progress?for example,is the value of place to ship filled in automatically in address ID on shippment screen ?②And which value is necessary ? if the value is not set firstly the repair progress can not be moved on.③Can there be process differences due to different  values of whose place?for example,the place of customer or repair center. IF you have some ideas about this question, please check the attchement with details.Thanks !! 

I have a routing address setup to make a call to another system using REST in an IFS cloud managed environment.  It works most of the time, but after multiple successful calls to the end point I start getting an error:  Exception while sending data Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Connection reset Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset. Does IFS utilize a security appliance in the cloud hosted environments that sends a RST packet to the Connect server automatically after a certain volume of transactions are processed?   I have Connect configured to retry 60 times after 1 minute.  This results in the message going from a waiting status to released after about a minute and then Connect picks it up and resends within a minute from there.  As such a new RESTful connection for the same API call, but it continues to receive this error from anywhere from 10 minutes to multiple hours.  If it is able to successfully make the connection which it does about 40% of the time, i

I have a query regarding withholding tax voucher cancellation. For me, B voucher is created automatically for withholding tax once the customer invoice is posted. But I want to cancel this voucher as it contains some error in amount field.But, I am not getting any option for reversing the entries. Note: The Voucher created is in Approved State. It is not updated to GL.Need a solution asap.
