When exporting a company template in the Cloud I do not get an option to define the export directory and so cannot see where/if the files have been exported.  I have checked my downloads and they are not there. Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so how has it been resolved? 

I would like to restrict access using permissions to the Supplier Quality Section in Apps 10 (Update 8), but i cant seem to find it, that's if its possible?Image below shows Supplier\Purchase\General, the section that is labelled Quality  Any ideas? ThanksSteve

Hi, Community, Need your expertise on HR clocking and more.We are acquired by our parent company year ago, and the parent company is starting the standardize program, standardize the time clocking system. we are on APP10(upgraded from APP8 at technical level only), never use time clocking system before. Parent company’s expectation is to have everyone of the company using time clocking via IFS, plus we have lots of contractor working on production line, they also need manufacturing clocking to get the payment. your feedback is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Using Sourcing Rules to select Supply Codes, can this be used to PARTIALLY source the Order Line requirement from inventory, and then raise an order for the remaining balance? I have tried to use this to select Invent Order and then Purch Order Trans, but IFS seems to only be able to select the option that can FULLY deliver the quantity required, and does not allow a partial supply based on Invent Order and then order the rest from a supplier based on Supply Code Purch Order Trans. Can I assume this is not possible?

Hi  Hoping for some inspiration here.I have a parent shop order with a need date of 01/10/2021( approx 1 day build) which contains multiple children of Both manufactured and purchased items.All manufactured parts set to Finite After Scheduling Through APB it is giving me planned finished in week 49 :(. This is despite all manufactured components having been scheduled to be completed by Week 39, Having ample capacity on the necessary work center and all PO’s been received.I’m also unable to drag it to an earlier date.This results is making no sense to me, is it possible that i’m missing some other constraint?Any light shed on the subject is welcome Ian

What is the expected release date for FSM 6 update 12?

We have a problem exporting a Financial report to excel from Report Archive.We found a limitation on the Row template. If we have more than 821 rows we get the error message above.It doesn’t matter which row we remove, we only get the error if we exceed 821. We get the error in APPS9 and APPS10. I used Debug and it seems like the rows are being built into a string but when it exceeds 4000 chr in length it errors.Can this parameter be increased?Thank you,

We are currently on Apps8 going to Apps10. The workflow I describe below works in Apps 8, but not in Apps 10.Our installation workflow begins with a Customer Order (Sales) and ends with a Work Order (non-billed Service).The Customer Order is created and completed for one Site and the related Work Order is created and completed in a different Site. Also, Customer Order has one Customer Number (distributor) and Work Order has a different Customer Number (end-user). IFS 10 is requiring a matching Site and Customer Number between Customer Order and Work Order, but this won’t work for our business practices.Any suggestions or ideas? Open to IEE10 and Aurena for possible solutions.Thanks.

Hi AllWe are running: IFS v9 (update16)I have been changing all of our Internal System passwords.The last account that I am unsure of is IFSWEBCONFIG. Although there is no option to change the password in the installer as per the other Internal passwords (IFSPRINT, IFSCONNECT, IFSSYS, IFSPLSQLAP, IFSADMIN), the IFSWEBCONFIG password does appear encrypted in the configuration.xml log with the others?I was hoping that this password could just be changed at the backend, but seeing it in here makes me think perhaps it would require a reconfigure? Is this encrypted password used elsewhere?Any experiences or advice would be appreciated.ThanksMike

How to use the Mixed Payment window to offset an existing Parked  Payment?

Hey all,I am developing a custom routine (in C#/.NET) to generate Custom Logical Units (CLUs) and all the custom field attributes to go along with them. My goal is to be able to point to a DBF file (Foxpro data) and create a CLU that matches the structure of the DBF column for column. And it works!Except for one thing. Though I add the custom fields to the CLU in the order the columns are found in the DBF (from left to right, by ordinal position), when the CLU is published and the _CLT is created, the fields are in alphabetical order. It is not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to compare the resulting CLT column by column to the original DBF and verify that data types and sizes look good. This is easier to do if columns are in the same ordinal position.Any way to control the order of the table columns? We have a user that is not able to Launch the app after installation - V15.1Customer uses SSOUser PC specs - Windows 108gb RamHave tried multiple options to resolve - with no successUn-installed, re-installed, ensured the site is added as a trusted site, checked firewall - still not able to launch  the app.Any help or suggestions

Hi,  We configured one Global Commit Rule with the following parameters, nevertheless it’s not committing any activity. Is something wrong with the rule? Or do we need to set anything else? Best regards, 

The password of the IFSSYS account has only been changed from the database. After a while ifssys account got locked out.We stopped the servers and changed the ifssys password using "Installer > Change system user passwords". "ManagedServer1" failed to start when we restarted the servers. The "ManagedServer1.log" file is attached below. We experiencing this same error. But, There is no such screen in Admin Console.. 

Both Customer and Supplier have tabbed screens ‘Invoice’ for LU IdentityInvoiceInfo.If I want a permission set to view the Customer > Invoice as read-only, but Supplier > Invoice as read/write, is that possible?I have tested different options but not found the right one within the permission set detail (have been editing the ‘Database Objects’ but they seem to be linked for Customer/Supplier eg both must be read only or both must be read/write.Any solution?Thanks

Can someone with IFS Cloud 21R1 explain how Business Roles are granted within the Permission structure?  We’re currently in V9 and investigating how roles such as Buyer, Planner, Requisitioner, Finance User Groups, etc are granted within the user permission controls.

We run IFS Apps9 Update16. We have 2 Application servers hosting 4 Managed Servers in a IFS Application clustered configuration.We are looking to change the IFSSYS password via the installer change password option, but I am wondering if the new password change will be pushed through to the 2nd App Server Host? or would I need to recreate the clustered install/manually intervene in some way?We have tested the usual change, but our test system is still not yet clustered.Would be good to hear from any other clustered users.ThanksMike

I downloaded and tried installing the provided fix however after entering the IFSAPP password and clicking Next I received the following Parameter error:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.CertPathValidatorException: Path does not chain with any of the trust anchors

Is there a way to highlight/select all lines on a screen (‘Parts’ for example) without having to click on the first record and drag down until the bottom of the page? This can be cumbersome when you have hundreds/thousands of records. 

I’ve created a new shop order by following a training doc support. I’ve got the following error message : “Structure Revision is null. Issuing is not allowed”. And during the flow, the following question (Popup) appears : “The shop order is for revision of part XXX-YYY. The location you selected in row 1 have different revison for the part. Do you want to continue?” I’ve answerd yes after checking that they are both rev 1. All advices are welcome. Thank you.
