Hello, I have the following request on a payment term and I am not able to set it correctly in IFS, version 9.The Due Date calculation should be : 30 days from 10th of the Next Month.For example, if my invoice date is 15th of September, the Due Date should be  calculated as  30 days from 10th of October: which is 9th of November. I tried the following  option but it is not working properly:With this setup is calculating first 30 days from the invoice date, then it goes to the next month( due to End of Month-Due Date checkbox) and sets the final due date to 10th of next month.   I can not get a way of calculating the Due Date starting from a specific date.Specific Due Day field is the latest one taken into account in the calculation, so I was not able to add any days to that specific date. Did you have a similar case in your projects? How did you manage it? Thanks for your help, Ioana

I have a problem to start Developer Studio on Citrix Developer Desktop 10. The status stay in “Opening Projects”, regardless which customer is set in background. I can only end task over task manager after a certain time.It might be a cache problem, so my question is how to clear cache?Maybe it’s another problem. Hi,When logging requests we would like to only see the customer’s whose places to select from instead of listing our invoice, suppliers places etc. Is there a way to restrict the view of this? I have tried a constraint into the UI design screen for the Request screen and PLACE ID look up navigation but with no luck. 

After creating a new project in the project screen, I added a request and the tasks related to particular request were automatically added in the project screen. While deleting a task from the project screen it deletes whole task from the database instead of only deleting the link. But while deleting a request from project screen only the link between request and project screen were deleted. But the deleted request remained in the database. I recreated this issue in both FSM6GSE SQL and MC-ANDRTST-FSM6 environments. Is this the normal behavior or an error?

Projects in FSM:When a previously selected / added request should be removed again from an existing project the functionality is working fine:Navigate to "Requests" in a dedicated project Select / Multi-select the requests Click "Delete" Confirm that 'req_proj_link' record should be deletedThis means that only the connection between request and project is deleted and the request itself is not deleted from FSM entirely.The same functionality should be available on the "Tasks" tab. But the situation right now is that with deleting a task from the project, the task is deleted entirely from FSM.The required functionality would be the same as on the request tab, that only the link between task and project is deleted. Finding:Currently there is no table for tasks like ‘Task_Proj_link’ as it is for ‘req_proj_link’.Question:Is it correct that we have to create a new table like ‘Task_Proj_link’ to make this work for tasks as it works for requests? Hi Using apps 10 and trying to replicate a 7 day cure time on an manufactured inventory part routing.I was going to try and do this by using a ‘transportation time’ between op 60 and 70 so when MRP runs it schedules op 70 7 days after op 60.Will this approach work? and what is the unit of measure for transportation time? as the help bar suggest a 24 hour calendar.regards Jamie

There was an incident where the DATA_SYNC_IN_SERV Queue Failed due to below error.Error Text: The Repl Site Statistics object already exists.During the investigations I have noticed that this was triggered from the below Scheduled Task. When inserting Data to REPL_SITE_STATISTICS_TAB used in Data Synchronization Status Window. We have encountered more 1000 failed messages during a weekend, and it was the greatest number of times SERVE Queue got Failed at once.The Customer is using APPS10 UPD9Really apricate if anyone can share any feedback or any experience regarding this issue.Your feedback is really appreciated.

Hi All,Once I hide tab “Plans” in the base profile. The window “My Absence calendar” does not show up properly for some users.  Request Tab is now hidden behind “December”  as shown below.I tried to change the tab margin for the personal profile but new margins are not saved !!   Much appreciate any help

Hello,  We have a requirement on the Inventory Part In Stock page to add a more detailed description of why a part was placed ‘ON HOLD’. I’ve added this column via a custom field called ‘On Hold Reason’, but I’m not able to edit the column in the table view.  I’m assuming that the table can only be updated via the context menu, as there are a number of options to modify a record by using the various modal popup windows. Is there a way I can add this custom ‘On Hold Reason’ field to the ‘Change Availability Control Id’ Modal, as this would be the most sensible place to enter the required info for the user. Alternatively, is it possible to create a custom window that does the same functionality as the existing one, but includes the additional field also? If so, is this within the IFS app client itself, or via another piece of software?

I’ve been asked whether I can add “New Case Issue” and/or “New Case Assistant” to the “Lite User” permission set (LTU_HR_SELF_SERVICE). Now, I can probably add these screens to the permission set, but I don’t want to exceed the license terms.Is this something I need to ask IFS directly?

I have set the default C to a qty of 10 and defined it for one data line:I’ve defined the sampling trigger on the control plan:I thought the only item needed was to then connect the trigger to the line you specified with the Inspection Code, however I receive the following message when attempting to do so:I’ve reviewed the help, but there does not seem to be any information related to a basic setup of this function. Hi,It was observed in IFS that there is no specific methodology used in standard to define the different numbering sequence for any Purchase Transactions (like PR, RFQ, PO etc.).Is there any way of defining any specific numbering sequence for all the relevant purchase transactions, as per desired format.? As it was also observed that someway it can be handled via Coordinator Groups as well, to some extent, as long as Purchase and Distribution Orders are considered. For which the character string is also limited for 1, which is not desired though.By any chance we can address this issue in standard IFS (with Aurena Client).?Any valuable feedback or remarks on this would be really appreciated. Regards,Prabuddha
