Hello,  We have a requirement on the Inventory Part In Stock page to add a more detailed description of why a part was placed ‘ON HOLD’. I’ve added this column via a custom field called ‘On Hold Reason’, but I’m not able to edit the column in the table view.  I’m assuming that the table can only be updated via the context menu, as there are a number of options to modify a record by using the various modal popup windows. Is there a way I can add this custom ‘On Hold Reason’ field to the ‘Change Availability Control Id’ Modal, as this would be the most sensible place to enter the required info for the user. Alternatively, is it possible to create a custom window that does the same functionality as the existing one, but includes the additional field also? If so, is this within the IFS app client itself, or via another piece of software?

I’ve been asked whether I can add “New Case Issue” and/or “New Case Assistant” to the “Lite User” permission set (LTU_HR_SELF_SERVICE). Now, I can probably add these screens to the permission set, but I don’t want to exceed the license terms.Is this something I need to ask IFS directly?  

Hello, I am looking help setting up a basic Acceptance Sampling trigger on a Control Plan. I have set the default C to a qty of 10 and defined it for one data line:I’ve defined the sampling trigger on the control plan:I thought the only item needed was to then connect the trigger to the line you specified with the Inspection Code, however I receive the following message when attempting to do so:I’ve reviewed the help, but there does not seem to be any information related to a basic setup of this function. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,It was observed in IFS that there is no specific methodology used in standard to define the different numbering sequence for any Purchase Transactions (like PR, RFQ, PO etc.).Is there any way of defining any specific numbering sequence for all the relevant purchase transactions, as per desired format.? As it was also observed that someway it can be handled via Coordinator Groups as well, to some extent, as long as Purchase and Distribution Orders are considered. For which the character string is also limited for 1, which is not desired though.By any chance we can address this issue in standard IFS (with Aurena Client).?Any valuable feedback or remarks on this would be really appreciated. Regards,Prabuddha

Hi i get an error message when i try to upload the camt54 through ifs connect. The file gets loaded but fails with the following error message. Does anyone know what this exactly means?  I have alos attached the File which i try to import. Best RegardsSophal

My colleague and I have tried to log on to the IFS customer portal today. https://www.ifs.com/login/Usually this works fine, but today we receive the error “Try again or contact your helpdesk”. We don’t have any other way of contacting our helpdesk than logging on to the portal… Please make sure the IFS customer portal is up and running again so that we can access the Customer Engagement Center.

Hi, I am creating a Lobby for the ICT team and want to show IFS Licence availability on it.I can get this for Full User licenses no worries (in fact theres a premade Lobby Element for it), but for LTU and CTU I can only get find current usage, not availability (how many are free) or the Total (from which I could subtract the usage to give me the availabilty.Is there a view or table to query this data from for LTU licences etc.?

Employees work with several companies and sites. If an employee changes the location, then permissions cannot be completely revoked. EX: We want to remove an user as Invoice Posting Authorizer so that the particular company (XY) can be removed. Unfortunately, this is not possible, as he/she is listed as an authorizer in various records. He is invalid as Invoice Posting Authorizer, nevertheless it can't be removed and therefore also not the permission for the company.   Since this user is now active for another company, the 'old' company cannot be revoked and he/she has been granted a new authorization, this permission is now also valid for the 'old' company.  Furthermore, the user still has access to data that he should no longer have. Thus, it would be great if there is a way (solution or a workaround) to revoke company’s authorization.

Hello all, I am seeing an issue from Shop Floor Workbench related to Approve Op qty reporting. It appears that users are enabling the Report Previous Operations flag during the Approve Op process:From what I read in the help section, the box is enabled if the Qty to report is greater than the qty on the previous operation. This is very problematic as the default qty to report is automatically populated, which will enable the Report Previous Operations box. If the Site setting is disabled, the Qty to Report is blank, but turning this off results is By-Product calculations not being done.Is it possible to prevent the Report Previous Operations box from being enabled, or can the Default Quantity to Report be disabled at the Site, but still allow for By-Product calculations to occur at Approve Op?

I have performance problems in the execution of background jobs for a customer.I have already read all the advices regarding the increase of the job queue processes parameter but I would like to know if I could also optimize the frequency the job queue is checking for new jobs to execute.By default the execution plan is set to 30 seconds but is there a risk to put the queues to 5 or 10 seconds (at least those that do not handle only big jobs) ?

Hello.  On  Outlook panel in IFS Cloud 21R1, I can not add new business opportunity for my contact - no add icon is visible.New activity can be created for the same contact.  How can I configure to enable to add new business opportunity?  

We are using 14.0.0.24, Mobile Edge version 15.3.0.0.1Sometimes we want the SA to do a Direct transfer of a part from one warehouse to another but we need them to select parts from particular bins in the source warehouse, but on Mobile we cannot see or choose the bin that the part will come from, it just chooses a part from the first bin it finds the part.Is there any way for the Mobile user to see in which Bin a part is located when doing a Stock Enquiry? And more important, is there any way the SA can select which bin to transfer the part from?
