Excuse my lack of knowledge here, its a bit specific for me so could use some help.We have a situation where someone is trying to allocate cash but they are unable to select the open invoice to offset the payment against. When we try to select the invoice its not appearing in the selection. I checked the invoice and it seems it was originally offset with a supplier invoice, but that transaction appears to have been rolled back: Any ideas how i can allocate the open payment to the open invoice? 

In the F1 helptext for Prepayment Based Invoice, we find below, But still, we can create a Prepayment Invoice for the CO. Yet when we print the invoice report, we notice some incorrect tax calculations. Invoice lines look like below,So maybe we are facing this tax calculation issue due to above mentioned prerequisite, but why?What is the idea behind above highlighted prerequisite on a functional stand point? 

 I have problem with a new report in quick report screen. the name of this report is credit note.this report is shown to some user and hidden to some user in quick report screen how can it be solved?

Hi, We have the event Document Ready for Approval, and one of our customer’s would like to exclude some users or group of user to receive mail from this Event. This works for one user if we define it under the conditions. The user will not get any mails. They would like to know how to exclude persons in a certain Document Group (Person group). Thanks and Best Regards,Thilini

Hello, Has anyone come across and resolved this issue?  Our user reported the following: I am creating a Custom Navigation Link to go from a Business Opportunity to the Customer - CRM page passing the Customer ID Parameter.  In UPD7, i had no issues with this because both sides of the equation were using the Aurena Field names Source and Destination parameters:  In UPD9, I am having an issue with it because on the destination side they are using the Oracle Field which does not pass correctly into Aurena. Unfortunately, when you leave the field like this, the search doesn't work for the new page.  Thank you,Joann

Hi Team,I have set up Tax Withholding for a Customer.Now my requirement is I cannot connect the required Income Type (Customer Tax Withholding) while creating final Customer Order Debit Invoice. While receiving a payment I have to adjust the required withholding amount.But I am not able to adjust the withholding amount once the final Customer Order Debit Invoice is printed.Request you to please guide me on this. Thanks in Advance,Rakesh

Hi All, This customer is in App10 & trying to print a supplier check for a different payee. They are using message field to record check recipient name & system asked to record it in upper case. Hoping i can get some help, i am struggling to get the connect reader to work for FTP and am hoping someone can check my setup.Note, the FTP sender is working but the reader info isnt clear how i should setup.In particular what should i be putting in the:‘IN_DIRECTORY’‘RESPONSE_DIRECTORY’ Also, how does that tie in for the routing rule I know the FTP server log on details are correct as the sender is working correctly I feel am almost there, but i am not even seeing any log files:$FNDEXT_HOME/instance/$INSTANCE/logs/connectserver/SWAIN_ftpreader1.logDo i need to set any application server task to poll the jobs?     

Hello, We have several customers who wish us to ship any product we have available to ship but they do not wish to have the remaining lines or quantities back ordered for future shipments.   We are releasing the quantities not available from the shipment so we can complete, deliver and close the shipment. We would like IFS to automatically cancel the unshipped lines from the customer order so the order will be invoiced/closed once we send the invoice.  Does IFS have any built in functionality to cancel the order lines unshipped or would we have to create a custom event and action to accomplish this task? Regards,William Klotz

I was trying to figure out a learning pathway for an SCM Consultant and noticed this.   Can someone from the academy confirm that the above order is what I should follow to get all the certifications related to SCM? Are there any other basic trainings to complete before following the above order? After I complete the above order of courses only, can I get the ‘Certified IFS SCM Consultant’ title?

When an employee works overnight labor clocking's within clocking on day 1 and out clocking on day 2 is 'calculated' on day 2.  This causes a mfg. diff. on day 1. Furthermore, duration of the labor clocking is calculated to 0.Could you advice any known workaround available?

We are trying to update our wildcard certificate that expires next week to our IFS 10 Update 10 instances. I have tried multiple formats of the certificate including: .pem, .crt, .pfx, .p12 and more. I also have tried with just the certificate and also the certificate with the whole certificate chain included in the file. Every time I try to reconfigure the middleware server with the new certificate it always comes back with: “Unable to initialize SSL environment, returned 28845” and “Client SSL handshake error, Handshake returned 29005”

Good evening,I am looking for information on the Job Details field on the Time Registration screen, Grid View.It appears that it cannot be edited.It also appears that it only shows Project Report Codes details.I tried entering information in multiple field on the Work Order Task, but nothing appeared in the Job Details.Can anyone confirm this? I also looked for a relevant property in the Company Details, but could not find one that appears to enable editing the Job Details. Thank you. Lorenzo

I am looking for the way to set up and to access to the payment order file from the payment proposal.  

We are currently looking at crossing over to single sign on.the current windows sign on users the users email account but ifs uses initial and surname. to convert to single sign on will i need to recreate all the user accounts so that they use the active directory account name  or can i go in on mass and script the change?

Hi,Is there a way to set a quantity level of a part (like safety stock in inventory part level in overall) in a specific location, so that refilling of the part to that location will be triggered, only when the qty of the part falls under a specific qty in that location ?For an example, part A is there in location X and location Y, and location X need to be refilled from location Y, only of the qty of part A in location X is under 10. IS there a standard functionality achieve this. Any way to achieve this ?I have tried putaway zones functionality, by ranking the storage zone for location X, above  storage zone for the location Y, and after running/scheduling the task “Refill All Putaway Zones”, a transport task is created to move all the qty in location Y to location X, since I have not defined any storage requirement restrictions. Thank you in advance !
