The announced feature from the 5 in 5 sessions regarding aurena client session tracking is not available in the currently available demo.this should be available in the IFSIAM, Client Sessions. But it is not there.Announced but forgotten? This had been requested by some customers now and would really be beneficial.Please check on this issue

Hi,I am trying to improve on my understanding of IFS fundamentals and have been reviewing teh differences between the following voucher posting fields: company, site & Interco.I believe “company” determines where exactly the voucher will be posted.All of our companies only have one site so I usually always let company = site.But what is the purpose of Interco code part? Best Regards,Dennis M.

Recently Upgraded to APPS10 and we have a few part configuration statuses in Parked State. How can we change the cofiguration status once the Shop Order is Started? We can view the configuration but we can’t receive it into inventory, we get an error. How can we process the shop and receive the part?Thank you.   

i have a requirement to setup one part as Manufacturing part X in Site A with sub components 1,2 and 3 and this will be sold to SITE B , in site B it will be received as Inventory or purchase part. How can we do this . How can site B request for Site A for item X.What are the steps for setting up a Manufactuing part or Engineering part in Site A.1.Create product structure.2.Routing3.How the cost will get rolled up to Item X which is the parent part or Manufactuing part in Site A. Kindly advice. Regards Arif

Hello, We are currently running IFS Application 10 Update 8 but plan on upgrading to Update 13 shortly.  Our IT department has announced they plan on upgrading everyone to Windows 11 in January 2022. Does IFS have a date and IFS Application 10 Upgrade package they plan on certifying support for Windows 11?   We’ve got two machine currently running the Beta copy of Windows 11 and everything seems to work fine except we are not able to install IFS Business Reporter.  We get an error about the Office Primary Interop Assemblies have not been installed.   On a Windows 10 machine running the same Microsoft Office 365 x64 suite we can successfully install IFS Business Reporter.   Microsoft hasn’t released a new release of the Primary Interop Assemblies since Office 2010 and we believe this is the issue. Regards,William Klotz

In the employment information (path: Human Capital Management / HCM Services / Employee Management / Employee File / Employment Information / Periods) you can see the section Period Details.In that section, there are two date ranges: Start Date and End Date (representing the current employment period) and the Employment Start Date and Employment End Date (representing the start date of the earliest employment period and the end date of the last employment period).Apart from that, the section Period Details is showing Degree of Occupation and Current Degree of Occupation. With regard to these two fields, I’ve got two questions:Why is the Current Degree of Occupation not shown on the same level as the current employment period (Start Date and End Date)? Which (overall?) Degree of Occupation is shown when the degree of occupation has changed in the course of time, i.e. when there are several employment periods with different degrees of occupation?​​​​​​​ 

Can we have Page Design (for multiple forms) setup stored somewhere and apply on a new customer ? Like a template ? 

I am trying to load up budgets in Aurena and have an unpack error “Invalid Value format or invalid decimal symbol in loaded file. My template file is shown below.  I have tried without any kdecimal places and gt the same error.  Does anyone have any suppestions please?

Dear All,Even though pre-posting enable in header level , the given  pre-posting value is not fetching in line level .  However , pre-posting is fetching value in line level . But , I want to enable it in header level to enter pre-posting value at once . Moreover M101 and M102 enabled in posting control correctly . Please help on this matter. Thank you

Hi experts,I have observed that in the FSM6 UPD12 (Android) Task attachments are available in the device storage > 'com.metrix.metrixmobile' folder > ‘files’ folder only when they are being viewed: i.e. when a pdf. is being viewed by an external app. When I exit from viewing the file, it gets deleted from the above location.But the files seems to be still available somewhere in the phone because I can still open them through FSM app even when there is no internet connection.Is this the expected behavior or is there a way to turn this off? (to make the attachments permanently available in the  'com.metrix.metrixmobile' folder)Thank you,Dulshan.

Hello,We have been struggling with maintaining our IFS APP servers (Windows, APPS10). We have developed a list of procedures to gracefully shutdown all IFS services (using mws-svr.cmd), verify all Java processes are stopped, apply Windows updates, then reboot the server.After waiting for up to 30 minutes after reboot, none of the node manager services are running on the rebooted server. My memory may be failing me, but I am almost certain that the IFS MWS services used to start up automatically after reboot, and the Windows Services related to IFS MWS (which we have been told never to manipulate via the Windows Service console) do not start up even though they are configured to start “Automatically”.The basic question, then, is: Are the IFS MWS services supposed to start on their own after a reboot, or should we anticipate always needing to start them manually? Consider if  there are five task under different requests, based on task type I am changing task status and for status changed tasks we have to create one more task with different task type and different task status and requestid accordingly.Example: task id =102 ,request id =1002 and status = opentask id =103,request id =1003 and status =opentask id =104,request id =1004 and status =opentask id =105 ,request id =1005 and status =openFor all the above tasks status should be changed and 4 more task should be created with different task type and status like task id =121,request id = 1002 and status = holdtask id =122,request id = 1003 and status = holdtask id =123,request id = 1004 and status = holdtask id =124,request id = 1005 and status = hold Please suggest how can I achieve this through client scrip. Regards,Ramya 

Hi! I want to add “status” in the columns of shipment lines because I am wasting time returning to customer order to see the status of each line. In app 9 status column appear but in app 10 doesn’t appear. I will attach a picture for you can see my problem. there is any configurations to try to show that status column or what i have to do in this case.

We want to implement Customer Agreements in IFS 10 UPD 10.  When we print or view the standard repot (Customer Agreement), the Agreement Description field is not available. It appears that it is not in the table or view.  We planned to use the Agreement Description field to indicate which Distributor and End Customer pair this agreement is for (we sell to Distributors who sell to end customers. We sometimes offer special pricing for these combinations) When we tried to work around this by creating a custom reference field to pull it in to the Report, we get an error. Has this been fixed with a patch? if not, anyone know of a different workaround 

Hello All, I have encountered a significant problem that I have been unable to resolve. I need to delete multiple inventory locations, however, I am unable to as they are referenced as the Proposed Location on numerous Shop Orders. I have been looking through the help and online community, but I have not found a way to correct these en masse. The only workaround I have found is to go to each individual Shop Order and delete the value in the field. If the SO is closed, it must be re-opened and then deleted. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi,     I was working on modifying the Baseline placelookup screen,i saw the new button has an popupAddEdit name,I understand that this signifies it will open a popup and i could see the individual elements present in the xml file for the screen as well.But the individual elements that appear in the screen are not present in the UI designer.So how do we modify the fields that appear on the pop or is it an seperate screen

Hi all ,I have a manually serial number tracking part ant it does not allow to edit serial number while performing move in to one location RMB option on Receipt window ? Do you have any comments to resolve it ? when click on OK on above screen , it gets below error message . 

I had recently investigated a performance issue in the contract window of FSM 6 UPD11.This occurs when there are more than 1000 records in the lines tab.When we navigate to the contract window and select the lines tab it took more than 1 minute to load the relevant data. If we navigate to another tab and comes back again to the lines tab it will load within 4-5 seconds.I had executed the relevant hierarchy SQL in XML poster and it provide the result within 4-5 s.Page size is set to 25, still no luck.Please share your ideas on why it might slow on the first instance, and only when navigating for the first time to lines tab.
