We are using IFS 9, with plans to go to IFS 10.Is there a place in IFS we can view the phantom assembly which allocated instead of the blown-through components of that phantom?We’ve noticed in IFS 10 that there is a field on the Shop Order for Phantom Part No, but this only shows 1 level up. We have instances where there are multiple levels to an assembly, with multiple levels of phantoms. We’d like to see the uppermost assembly that allocated, not just 1 level up.

I’m trying to utilise the plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint method passing the CLOB.  As soon as i try to follow the documentation to add url parameters the method fails with wrong number or types of arguments in call to ‘CALL_REST_ENDPOINT’.My problem is, if i don’t use url parameters then i’ll need to set up multiple routing addresses for each specific endpoint.  This will cause issues when the endpoint changes from test to production as i’ll need to change them all.Has anyone managed to utilise the url_params_ functionality within plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint ?

We sold assets in the legacy system before migration.After migration the assets are active with 0 value.Normally the status is “sell” and a value amount must be entered.   We wanted to mark the assets as "scrapped".But as soon as we want to save the "Scrap" option, the following error message appears.“Field[VOUCHER_NO] is mandatory for Voucher Note and requires a value. “Ask for an opinion on how this error message can be circumvented here.

Has anyone implemented work instructions within IFS and or attached fillable PDF forms attached to shop orders that when submitted attach to the shop order they originated from.  Trying to create work flow that assemblers, techs and engineers can verify the work being done is being documented within the shop order thereby eliminating the paperwork associated with creating build binders /  work travelers to a paperless e-traveler / build binder.

Hi,If PO had one line with qty 6 and charges of 100 EUR attached it.if we receive partial qty 3 number, than all the charges will come qty 3 , this lot batch will carry all charges and 100 EUR charge will come with it. anyways , we can split charges for single line based on qty..? qty 3 - 50 EUR charges,qty 3- 50 EUR charges, total qty 6,     --.> 100 EUR charges.

Hi, Can anyone tell me how you can check/uncheck the “Inventory Part Demand Published’ checkbox on the Maintenance Plan of a PM action (APPS10)? The help file says it’s read only, but somewhere there must be a way to define whether it should be checked or unchecked for a certain Part/PM action, right? Best RegardsRoel   

FSM mobile for windows no longer starts - or at least it starts and immediately shuts down again. Hi All,Im trying to use the RMB 'Pack According to Packing Instruction' from the Inventory Part in Stock window, but it is greyed out.From the looks of it, the only reason i can think of is because it is an 'Arrival' location type. This is the same for location types of 'Quality Assurance’.Am i correct or am i missing something here? Any thoughts?We are using Apps10, UPD 11.Regards,Arunalu  

When try to send email from Order report dialog print job get state “ERROR” but he application message is in FINISHED state.   can send email through MAIL_SENDER1 using routing addresses In this environment cannot schedule quick report as well. Application server task get FAILED with the same error message  

Resource Groups are entered ONSHORE and replicated to OFFSHORE.However, connection to Project Cost and cost element are NOT replicated. Any Idea on this?

Hi,I am working through creating my first budget. I would like to add an account to “Budget Period amount” but am receiving the below error.  When I “zoom” in the account field it takes me to code string-account where the account in the snip is already there ( I assumed it would take me to somewhere where I could add accounts to ledger IB), but when I hit F8 for an LOV it is empty.How do I add accounts to ledger IB? Best Regards,Dennis M.  

Can you export/import all active users personal profile in mass? I know you can individually but we have 180+ users. Is there a better way in APPS10? Thank you,

Is there a way to change the date format along with the laguage changes? For example, a French customer has requested that the English date format MM/DD to be changed to DD/MM when selecting the language to “French” as well.  The date format at the bottom of the graph is in English date format even though the client is running Windows client in French and the user have French language selected. For example, the first need to be “13/07-30/07” and not “07/13-07-30”.

Hi folks,long time since my last topic here.I’ve got an interesting scenario here.My customer want to calculate the payment discount into the profit margin.I will find a PAY_TERM_ID in the CUSTOMER_ORDER_TAB.I hop to PAYMENT_TERM_TAB and will find the description.In PAYMENT_TERM_DETAILS_TAB is the field NET_AMOUNT_PERCENTAGE and inPAYMENT_TERM_DISC_TAB I will find DISC_PERCENT.So, if we expect that our customer will “draw” 2 % discount (Skonto) within first 15 or 30 or what so ever days we can calculate SalesPrice - 2% discount results in minus 2 % less profit margin.Now the problem:When I scan the PAYMENT_TERM_DISC_TAB I will find discount for a PT like“8 days 3%, 21 days net” so the 3 %”.But also I will find:“Prepayment 5%, 14 days 3%, 60 days net” and two (!) records in the PAYMENT_TERM_DISC_TAB  My question:How could we decide/see, is it payment discount or prepayment?Thank you for sharing your experience! All the best and stay healthy. Michael 

HIwe created manual supplier invoice with period allocation option.system created the voucher number x voucher type I.system approved the voucher but we are unable to post it and show this message There are no voucher no series for this voucher type and accounting_yeari created the voucher series for voucher type I in both 2021 and 2022.where is the error ?

IFS 10 update 11 regarding dates. I noticed that the duration on the work task originally sets the planned finish date after the planned start is entered. When you update the duration longer, the planned finish will recalculate based on that, but if you update the duration to a shorter time it does not update the planned finish. Is there a reason for that functionality or am I missing something in my data?Duration was at 4, entered planned start date/time of 10:00 AM and it ended at 3pm with the hour of lunch calculated.Duration changed to 20 and get a pop up which pushed out the planned finish.When you bring back to 6 hours it doesn’t re-calculate again. 

What would cause a quick report to lock-up IFS when exported to Excel?  I have a quick report that if viewed in IFS, will return the results quickly, but if I try to export the quick report to excel, IFS runs and runs and eventually locks up

We have a No Part PO line that was received in the wrong period - Finance wants us to change the receipt date from 8/31 to 9/01 - normally we would unreceive and receive again under new date however it doesn’t appear you can unreceive no part PO lines - any suggestions

But the problem is when I am doing any partial payment to a supplier invoice, on first payment it deducts full tax on invoice based on withholding table but when i do the second payment for the rest partial amount it deducts tax again.It would be great if anyone knows solution for this problem or any way around
