How to deploy Output Channel to all users?

Hey all,

I just implemented a pseudo-Custom Menu system for Quick Report output over here:

Now I would like to deploy the Output Channel I created to all users who want to take advantage of this new functionality. I cannot find anything in the help about how Output Channels are controlled with regard to deployment: permissions, profiles, etc.

Is there some way to make an Output Channel be available for multiple users without having to configure it for each user individually? Even if it requires some API method calls behind the scenes, I would be interested in automating this process.

Any ideas?
