Posting Control for Commodity group

Currently our Purchase Price variance for all stock item is getting posted to one GL Account, but we would like to spilt/capture PPV for consumable items that are stock item, these can be identified by commodity group.

I would like to change the posting control/type so that the PPV for consumable will get posted to new PPV account.

How do achieve this, and what control type do I need to use link this PPV (with commodity group) to diff PPV for posting type M19/M20.

 

Please see screen print for current set up, how do I change it from fixed value

If you go to posting controls -- do a new -- put in your posting control -- account -- and on control types you can see a list of values of all the available control types for that posting control-- commodity group is C7 -- if course once you set this up -- you will need to RMB to setup the details of what account each commodity group will go to
