Hiusing IFS apps 10 and have been playing around with the Resource structures and resource analysis to replicate actual resource constraints.however there is an icon on the resource structure that I do not know the meaning to (below highlighted in red) can anyone help? Also can anyone explain the difference 1) Schedule capacity, 2) Adjusted capacity and 3) utilization capacity on the resource analysis graph? kind regardsJamie

Hi Experts,In IFS 10, we could found the column definition of Code Part(account, code b to code J) in pre accounting table is varchar2(10). But the length of them is varchar2(20) in Code Part Defintion table actually. It’s quite strange and make a lot of troubles for customers. Anyone know the reason and when they could be in same length varchar2(20) ? Thank you! 

Hello, We are in the process of upgrading to IFS10. in IFS 8 we are still using the old field “Page Footing” in Company/Invoice/General”. Hi, in our customer’s APPS10 environment; 1. Go to an Assembly Shop Order with custom fields defined in ShopMaterialAllocUtil (Under manuak resevatuons detail > RMB> Custom fields)2. Now RMb on on line? Manual Reservations3. Check 'Show all reservable parts' checkbox4. You get an oracle error saying"invalid table nameFailed executing query (ORA-00903: invalid table name)"At the same time, while the aboce check box is checkedRMB on the detail tab> Custom Objects> Fields> OverviewYou get another error saying;"---------------------------IFS Applications---------------------------The view for this page and logical unit do not match. It is not possible to add a Custom Field to this page---------------------------[OK]---------------------------" Is there a fix for this issue?

Hi, MRO customers have highlighted a situation in MRO interim order structure; when you try to perform automatic disassembly level by level via the tree navigator the ‘include sublevel’ checkbox is automatically checked. You can obviously uncheck this prior to performing the disassembly, however the customers’ argument is that when you want to perform disassembly level by level this checkbox shouldn’t be automatically checked, unlike when you’re trying to perform the disassembly via the RMB option in the header. Will this functionality be changed?

Hi, For MRO customers who have migrated from APPS8 to APP10 there’s an issue where disconnected repair orders are not shown under manual pegging. I.e. these orders have been disconnected within the APPS8 environment prior to data migration. Is there a fix available for the issue?

Dear community, We have non inventory sales parts setup that have a Tax code of G1, which includes tax, however for our overseas customers we do not want this we want the tax code G2, no tax. The customer has a Tax Code setup as G2 however the non inventory sales part has G1 - other than a custom event is there a system way to set the tax code on the lines to inherit from the customer record not from the non inventory sales part?Many thanks, David.

Hi Experts, I have a situation where I need to compare values in a specific column of a specific table to all the other tables which has the same column. This is a FSM database and I need to query the orphan data (Child values which doesn't have parent values) sometimes generated when upgrade scripts are run. As an example, imagine there is a table called "A" and in that table there is a column called "B".There are numerous other tables which has this same column "B". So table A's "B" column is the parent and all other "B" columns are child columns. So other tables' "B" column can't have values which are not in table "A"s "B" column. I need a query to do following things, 1. To know which other tables have this column "B"2. To know which of these columns have invalid values and to show what those invalid values are Can someone suggest a query to do that ?Best Regards,Atheeq

Hi All you lovely helpful folk, I’m trying to create a RMB menu from the shop order operation tool to the Quick Report In Work page in the service and maintenance module. All our manufacturing tools have a one to one relationship with a serial object and are named exactly the same, therefore the TOOL_ID always equals the MCH_CODE - so the user see’s no difference.However when I’ve created the below custom menu I get the following error message when trying to use it - is this just not possible in our Apps9 update 17 IFS or do I need to do something else?    

Hello,Our current version is Apps 10 Upd 9.I recently created two custom projections to be able to utilize REST to load data.  One of them worked flawlessly with no extra interaction.  The second one threw a ORA-6550 error.  Upon looking into this error I found this in the odp-default-log.log file:com.ifsworld.fnd.common.exceptions.DatabaseException: Failed to execute the generated database statement …. more stacktrace not displayed …..Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 35:PLS-00302: component 'NEW__' must be declaredORA-06512: at "CHIE1APP.PROJECTION_CONFIG_UTIL_API", line 174ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:PL/SQL: Statement ignoredORA-06512: at "CHIE1APP.PROJECTION_CONFIG_UTIL_API", line 156ORA-06512: at "CHIE1APP.PROJECTION_CONFIG_UTIL_API", line 179.Investigating that API it is trying to call my logical unit _CLP.New__ method.  I have confirmed that the _CLP package is created and has the .New__ method.  There are no compile errors on the _CLP package or BODY.

Hi,I need some help in clearing a couple of customer invoices with errors:I have two invoices which have been processed at a different value to the payment plan, IFS rejects these differences, details below: Customer            Inv                          Order                    Invoice                 Plan                       Varx                     970023938           00026513             1776                       1633.32                 142.68y                    970023828           00015520            2051.45                 2031                       20.45 below is the error message on the 2nd line for customer Y ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (Payment plan amount (2031) should be equal to invoice amount (2051.45).) occurred while booking Invoice CD 970023828.

While processing the Customer direct debit , i am getting error message -- CD-1239999 is blocked for Direct debiting.we followed the steps.First I go to Customer Payment Proposal screen I right click and select Create Direct Debiting Proposal Fill  the details. Once I press OK the collection should process and create a file for me to Acknowledge and then create an order with Instead I get the below error message where I have to then block the mentioned invoice for collection but when checking each of the invoices they should all be allowed so I don’t get why they are being blocked by IFS??CD-1239999 is blocked for Direct debiting. 

I’m trying to print crystal report from ifs, it is customized report .what this error means. 

When working on Customer Contracts, you can expand the OOS (Objects of Services) in tree view and then zoom into a line to look at the details but when you return to the tree view, the lines always collapse back to level 1, so then you have to expand it again, so if you are working on a lot of lines, you spend a lot of time just expanding the OOS each time.  This is particularly difficult if working on a contract with over 100 lines because then you have to click on the “ignore retrieve limit” box and then confirm two dialog boxes before it will expand.Is there any option we can set to enable the tree view to remain expanded each time we return to it?

Hi All I created a Document class under which I plan to connect a certain set of documents to either PO header or line (or both) in the future. Now I need to give all IFS users in my organization ‘View Only’ access to this Doc Class. I read the following post and the answer by @Thilini Kumarasinghe and noticed that PO is not among the standard object types available for access control.   Can anybody guide me through the steps on how should I do this with regards to the access setup? Hello, hope y’all are doing well.  When creating Purchase Orders and Invoices, there is a functionality called “Multiple Tax Lines”, that is selected if there is more than one tax code connected to the invoice line. The question is, if there are more than one VAT code connected, how to distinguish the tax basis of each code? Thanks in advance

Has anyone had issues with Inter-Site orders stopping because of an error message that states the EDI Coordinator is missing for the customer?The customer has the EDI Coordinator filled in and when I RMB to Approve it, it defaults to the correct coordinator. We are on IFS10, UPD10

Hi all,I have an issue with a requisition to order for a purchase requisition. I’m receiving an error for no revision found for inventory part ‘******’ . An eng revision was added against the inventory part, yet still receiving an error. Does a new req need to be created or what could the cause be? I checked the API that relates to this error message and it checks for an eng revision using wanted receipt date (which the req has), part no and contract.Any ideas of what could be causing the error?Thanks,Robert
