When registering a support case via the IFS Support Portal does the IFS Support Agent define the case priority or can you suggest an appropriate priority as the Client?

Can the same user in the Cloud Build place be assigned more than one role?

Do we need to setup IFS SupportNet if we are running IFS Cloud in a Cloud Service Deployment?

Are IFS SupportNet and the IFS Support Portal the same thing? If not what is the difference?

Hi,We are on Update 12. I created and progressed the Repair Work Order and stuck at the stage where I need to place Serial Object to structure to change position from Issued to InFacility. When I use RMB on Report In Work Order → Place Serial in Equipment Structure and pick Functional Object against which I want to place it I get the error message “Object is already used in a PM Action or Work Order”. I have Work Orders against this Serial but they all either Finished or Cancelled. Surely it cant stop me to send equipment back to customer if I was fixing this part before?

Hello,We are trying to put unavailability on a bucket resource but unable to do so. Is there a specific setting that we must set in order for us to put unavailability on a bucket resource? Or bucket resource ignore unavailability? Please advise if possible. Thank you!

Good day, We upgraded recently and the address headings are gone from Section, Section-Department and possibly other places. This can be confusing when the form is blank and will be especially so for new staff, as we enter the street address on the second line and the Postal Code is in the position we would normally associate with the province, which will likely lead to data entry errors over time. assyst v11.4.1assyst v10 SP7.5How might we get these back? Support was contacted and we were informed this was intentional because it matched the image in the wiki for the Item form… Have a great day,...Donovan

Good Morning,Can anyone advise how the name appearing on the CONTACT field can be updated. This field automatically populates when the Work Order is saved during the prepare stage. The contact name also appears on the Work Record Sheet Signature . Many thanks for your help

In astea v10 we used a USB-scanner to enter the serialnumbers in a Recieve List. The scanner is configured to add ENTER after the scancode, so evey code scanned resulted in the cursor to jump to the next line. In V15, scanning the code + the ENTER, the serial number is entered but the module does not jump to the next line as it does in v10.However, if we use the scanner to enter a field in Service Order in v15, the scanned “enter” is reacting correctly in opening the lookup screen. We have same behaviour using Edge and Chrome, also in Word and Excel. the scanner works as configured: scancode + jumpt to next lineIs there a configuration required to have the correct behavior of the scanner in Receiving ?

Good Morning - Our managers review and Approve Work Record Sheets via Document Management>Document Revision. Prior to the Work Record Sheet being approved the status of the document is at Checked-In, however we have found that there are occasions when the document has presented at status Check-Out, which doesn't permit the document to be  approved. Can anyone advise why the document would  default to Checked-Out status? Thank you. Dave

Menu Appearance Designer» Appearance Configuration i’snt avaible in Aurena with IFS owner account. I’m in IFS Applicaiton 10 Update 15.

After the initial installation it appears that there are migration jobs (at least the interface headers) available. I'm not able to delete them as there is no detail available so they only confuse the customer.List is shown as follows:I gave myself update access to the job. When searching via the page Migration Job (so not Jobs), I don't see it. If I try to add it, IFS returns the error message that the interface already exists.Any idea how to get rid of these jobs?

We recently began using MRP and DDMRP to create purchase reqs for our planning method “G” and “H” parts. We are having an issue though, because when we allow MRP to create the purchase reqs for a work or shop order, the system does not reserve the material to the work order or shop order when it comes in.Is there a way, or a background job that we can run that will auto reserve material to work orders and shop orders where MRP created the purchase req required for the work or shop order? Thanks,Sarah

Hi, we are using V14.5 and have noticed that if a user changes the site on a service or CS order, they will get a pop up asking if they want to change ownership of the installed item.  If they select YES then we have found that it not only changes the site on the Installed Item but also changed the Install and acceptance dates to today’s date, which for us is not desired. Is there a way to stop the install date from changing, so when the site is changed, the install date stays the same (same behaviour as if you change the site directly on the installed item)? If not, is there a setting to prevent users from changing the site on an order?ThanksChris

Hello, Using Apps10 UPD10I’ve been reading the below topics describing how to add a new language as an option in the printing dialog. However I don’t seem to be able to make it work. @Chamaka Wimalarathne @Janitha Jinarajadasa any ideas on how to make this work? So, I’ve checked in the Used Languages and hr - croatian is enabled and translatable: Then, in Text Translations I’ve translated the report title → the example is for Instant Invoice:Next, I’ve refreshed the Language Cache (also refreshed Dictionary / Reference / Report) The Refresh Language Cache finishes without errors (ready state). However, when I try to Re-print modified an Instant Invoice, I still don’t see the hr language as an option in the dropdown.
