PSO Bucket Resource Unavailability

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

Hello,

We are trying to put unavailability on a bucket resource but unable to do so. Is there a specific setting that we must set in order for us to put unavailability on a bucket resource? Or bucket resource ignore unavailability?

Please advise if possible.

Thank you!

Hi @ntran2022 ,

Please note that in order to confirm I even checked the PSO documentation. It also says to ‘delete the unavailable shifts to indicate the bucket resource is not available’.
Please refer to the following snapshot from the PSO documentation.

Thanks and best regards,

Bhanuka.

Hi @ntran2022,

To indicate that a bucket resource is not available; the unavailable shift should be deleted.
Hope this may help.

Thanks and best regards,

Bhanuka

Thank you so much for replying @Bhanuka Abeygoonawardana. So we cannot put in unavailability on a bucket resource however, we can delete the shift for whatever day we wanted to be removed correct? Looks like we can do this in the resource planner.

Hi @ntran2022 ,

Further, I hereby attached the ‘Scheduling Concepts – Capacity Management’ PSO documentation which contains relevant information regarding Bucket resources. Hope this document may help you in the future as well.

Thanks and best regards,

Bhanuka.
