Hi,I want to create a custom event related to a custom field. So whenever this custom field is modified, it will send me an email.In this email i need data contained in the main table attached to this custom field (ex: PERS_TAB), so I want to create an Attribute to get the PERSON_ID.In the table PERS_CFT, i see only 2 columns: ROWKEY and MYCUSTOMFIELD. All the get method in PERS_API requires the person_ID … and apparetnly I cannot use a SELECT statement for the attibute, so how can I get my employee name and ID when my custom field is modified?Thanks!

Is there any documentation how to setup IFS Cloud - Flight Line Maintenance? I have been trying to sandbox out the Functionality so I know how it all works and what it can and can’t do. The content in IFS Academy just provides and introduction of the functionality and little demo, but not much information on the basic data setup.What I am looking at is the level of dependencies it has on other IFS Modules and Products.The big questions I am looking at are;Is it pretty standalone or do I need Maintenix and/or ATCM to make it work.What levels of AV Structure needs to captured, and can you build ad-hoc structures on the fly as opposed needing the data prepositioned as you do with Maintenix. I am also looking at Part Request and want to understand where parts are Issued from? Could this be Warehouse (Distribution) or does in need to Maintenix Inventory?

HiWe need to include some messages on the payslips for all employees and I’m looking to achieve this using standard functionality if possible.From what I can see the standard UK payslip (PayslipUk2.rdl) includes 2 message fields, COMP_MESSAGE and  EMP_MESSAGE.I believe EMP_MESSAGE is populated using the M001 parameter in Emp Data Const on the Payroll Information screen but I’m struggling to find out how the COMP_MESSAGE value is populated.Does anybody use this functionality or happen to know how it works?ThanksAnthony

We have created a document class for SOPs. We would love to be able to connect those SOPs relating to topics specific to the purchase order management to the Purchase Order window, regardless of which record is pulled up. If someone was making a new Purchase Order and it was blank or viewing an existing one we would like them to be able to access the same generic SOP document from the attachments.

Hi Experts,I would like to know whether the following scenario is possible via a client script, We send an outbound integration on a particular entity with the user who created as a part of the body (ex: request_id, created_by)  At a later point another request comes in as an inbound integration (not a response to the previous one, this is a separate request) with some additional info alongwith the initially sent fields (ex: request_id, created_by). We update the additional fields on the particular entity. At this point, if the user is on the same screen on the webclient, is it possible for the user to be notified that the entity has gotten updated by the integration? I tried with an alert BR, but since these are separate processes the alert isn’t shown. I am thinking of a client script solution where we could introduce a poll on an interval to check for a change in data and show an alert based on a change. I couldn’t find a client script function which could do this kind of polling. I

We are using posting proposal with intersite set up. We used collective invoicing so each customer invoice - or shipment, contains multiple purchase orders.  Each shipment can contain the same purchase orders. The problem we are having is when we run the auto matching function, the system is matching all receipts for the purchase order, not looking at the receipt reference on the PO receipt line.The supplier is set for PO matching at the PO Header Level, and Validation is PO Reference and Receipt Reference.This is the set up for supplier, and below a screen shot of the posting proposal. I need the invoice to be matched both on PO and Receipt reference.  We are using APPS 10 update 13.

Hi, User is trying to do a load into demand planner and is getting the following error‘ORA28000 the account is locked’There account is not locked, however.  

we are unable to release customer ordersystem raised this error message “code part project must have a value for customer order XYZ”   

At the end of the year we update our labor times on the routings from spreadsheets that are based on actual clockings during the prior year. I was trying to setup migration jobs to handle the entry back into IFS and I’m hitting  a road block on it. Probably missing something trivial. The input file has the site, part number, operation no and the new labor run time. I need to use functions to find the latest revision and to convert the operation no to operation id. From what I’m seeing in the debugger it looks like it isn’t saving the function call results. HiThis is a IFS cloud 22R1 environment. Using App10 AurenaI created a Permission to Create and Attach Documents.  I granted DOCUMENT_ATTACHMENT, DOCUMENT_ATTACHMENT_VIEWER (just to be through), DOCUMENT_EXPLORER, MEDIA_LIBRARY and MEDIA_LIBRARY_ARCHIVE to itI open a page, populate the records, click on ‘Attachments’ and I get the “No Access” message.  Click OK and the Attachment functions are available, and I can view and create attachments.  Close and Open Attachments again and the “No Access” message does not appear.If I leave the Attachments open and select another record on the Page, the “No Access” message appears.  Click OK and I have access to the record. If I select the previous record I don’t get the “No Access” message.  If I select the second record again I don’t get the “No Access” message.  This will continue to happen for each ‘new’ record I select as long as I leave the Attachments open.If I close the Attachments and select another record I don’t get the “No Access” message but if I open the Attachments on the

Why is Print Order Confirmation menu option greyed out? We have thousands of customers in setup in IFS but we have one customer that we can’t print order confirmations for any of their orders. The option is greyed out. What can cause this? How do we enable ‘Print Order Confirmation’? Thank you,We use APPS10 UPD11  

I’m having an issue where we’ve reactivated an employee after leaving.  When they go into work bench and type their employee number in returns that the Employee is expired.I have all of the dates with his new hire set that I can find and the expire all the way out to 12/31/9999.Where does this get changed so this employee can log into work bench? 

Dear community,I try to make the context menu "Supply Chain Order Analysis" visible in customer order.Although the screen "Supply Chain Customer Order Analysis" is granted the context menu is inactive.  

Good morning,I am unable to add a work type to an existing Work Order. A message stating : 'work type can not be changed when one or more posting rows are transferred to customer order'At present the Work Type field is blank.Can you advise how I can rectify this?Thank youDave

We have a matrix organisation structure and have recently moved to Aurena from IEE  (Apps 10 UPD 12.)When we look at the assigned employees tab of the Org Unit we see multiple duplicate lines of the first employee.I scroll down and clicked “More” twice and still the first employee - so 72 rows at this point.Has anyone seen this before?I’ve raised a ticket but it renders this screen unusable for the HR team who have to revert to IEE. 

We are currently on IFS Apps10 UPD6.  When we originally implemented IFS at Apps8 SP1+, we made the decision to setup Document Management to be stored in the Oracle database. When we upgrade to Apps10, we moved our quote process into IFS.   With that and other changes, we are seeing significant DB growth, which is mainly due to the number of documents we are storing in Doc Man.  Feedback from our IT team is it’s taking noticeably longer to back up Oracle and to refresh our development environments from Production.   I’m starting to thing about moving our doc man repository out of Oracle.   Looking for guidance / words of wisdom / lessons learned Does anyone have experience to share moving document management out of the Oracle database Pros/Cons for the different doc man repository options? Do we lose functionality if we move out of Oracle? At what point would you consider an Oracle database to be “too big”?

Hi,  I have this problem trying to refer to a column in the tab in a readonly - select - Custom Field.I’m trying to add a Custom Field to GenLedVoucherRow LU. I want to refer to a column in the table, gen_led_voucher_row_tab that I know is there and I can query for it on the database.I refer to it in Arguments section in Create CF wizard as    t.COLUMN_NAMEThis should refer to the COLUMN_NAME in the underlying table. But it says there is no such column in the table.I’m wondering if they refer to gen_led_voucher_row_tab or gen_led_voucher_row_cft as the underlying table since it is clear that the column I want is not in the cft. Thanks in advance!
