How do I import an Action Group in Alliance v15?

Hi,We are currently using the OOTB Attachment Screen in the mobile application (FSM6U13). I was wondering if there is any possibilities to edit these screens? I know that I can use the designer, but as far as I can see, there is limitations regarding what to edit. In particular, what I want to achieve, is to be able to see the file name of the file attached in the DebriefTaskAttachment Screen. When opening the JPEG-file attached, I can see the file name, but not in the overview. Is there any way to solve this?

Hi All,while QA testing for a customer running alliance v14 HF24, I encountered an issue in Repair Order Module where the New button is disabled. I’ve tried as both customizer and super user. The module appears to be installed in the application Catalog .Also there weren’t any customizer conflicts related to the module.Any idea on how to resolve this? 

We have a customer who is upgrading from Apps8 On-Prem to Apps10 on our (Managed) Cloud    They currently ( in Apps8) use the ‘File Share’ as their document repository and our Cloud services team have clearly indicated that the only option they will support is ‘Database Repository’    Questions:Should we be concerned with the growth in the Db size or performance of routine tasks such as “db backup” with moving so many files into the “database repository” Have you had other customers who are asked to do a similar change as part of their upgrade to Cloud Services Is there a best practice for “moving” files from ‘File Share’ to ‘Database Repository’ as part of an upgrade project  

Hello, I wonder if anyone has set up Intangible assets amortisation in Aurena.We have a client who is collecting projects costs against an intangible asset, which needs to be a ledger account to enable project capitalisation via posting control GP3.We need to amortise this intangible asset over sales of the finished product so are considering setting up in Fixed Assets as an acquisition account.Is there a better way to achieve this?Kind regardsGlenda

Hi All,question regarding Aurena contexts (scope). Just wanted to check if anyone has a workaround? requirement: Some users must not see some fields on the Customer Order page. Customer Order page is customised in Scope A (some fields hidden) and in Scope B (some other fields are hidden)Is there a way to prevent User A accessing the page in scope B and User B accessing scope A.if they know the url then there is no way to prevent that, am I correct? Also prevent both of them accessing the global context for Customer Order page? that does not sound right though as everything comes from the global context. TIA,Rajith De Silva 

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has set up the Trip Tracker app for a Cloud client yet.  From the training documents it appears to be a simple connection but when we tried to add a Trip using the app we get a error, “An error has occurred. TripHeader has not been granted the create/update permissions needed to proceed.  Please grant them from Aurena.”  We believe we have granted all of the permissions necessary but it appears we are missing one.  Also we are not able to see any expense reports that have been added in IFS in the app.  Can someone please provide a list of permissions and background data that is needed for the TripTracker app to work? Thank you!

Hi, The situation is that we have a bulk of service orders (1500) where we want to add a new checklist.The checklist has multi entries id. I try it trought a API with multi entry rows but only the 1e row in added as the checklist.Also if i run the API per row, also the first row is added. Is there way to add checklist with mulit entries to mulit orders? Is it a bad idea to import NEW distribution orders into IFS via sql insert statements? My gut tells me that it won’t work correctly. I imagine that when you create a Distribution Order in IFS it creates data in multiple tables that would cause issues if I only inserted into the main DO table.  Thanks!

Hi, what is the best option to get parts in stock with supplier ownership? Not consignment stock, but parts in a location with ownership Supplier? The documentation gives the option of using this and transferring the ownership, but I have not found anything on how to get/receive the parts in stock so that they clearly state that they are still Supplier Owned:  “Supplier-OwnedThe supplier-owned setting is used for externally-owned stock that is supplied with the intent that once received into stock, will be converted to company-owned. The supplier-owned ownership is used as a temporary ownership between the arrival and receipt into stock if the value of the Ownership Transfer Point list in the Company/Distribution/General tab is set to Receipt into Inventory. Hi, we are running a single instance of IFS Apps 10 Aurena with multiple companies. Often these companies are in completely unrelated industries, or run very independently with no central body to manage data like vendors for example. If company A and company B both do business with vendor ABC, and we want to have two instances of this vendor set up so each company can independently manage their relationship with them, what is the best way to hide these duplicates from each company. As in if company A calls vendor ABC A-ABC and company B calls it B-ABC, we’d like to hide A-ABC from company B and B-ABC from company A so they can’t accidentally use the wrong vendor and to prevent clutter in their vendor lists.Thanks.

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to print to a local printer from IFS Aurena and APPS 10.  When I try to print from Aurena and choose the printer dropdown I can only see printers setup in IFS.  None of my local printers are available in the dropdown.  However, when I try the same process in IEE my local printers are available as well as the printers installed in IFS.  Probably an easy answer I should know but can anyone help provide an answer please? Best Regards.

Using IFSapp10 UPD9 with IFS freight Interface.  we have the need to consolidate shipments for a customer.  I am able to add shipments to a consolidated shipment but that seems to be the end of the functionality.  I want one pack list and one deliver id for the consolidated shipment so I can process through one of the supported freight interfaces.  Can this be done?  If so, examples would be great.

Hi everyone. This is in regards to IFS 9. Right now when I have been applying deliveries or performing reconfigurations on IFS instances, whenever there is an error that results in the IFS instance becoming unusable I have been taking a snapshot of the server the instance is running on before hand and then rolling back to that state. I’m noticing some issues when I do it like this however:Sometimes this causes an issue where wls diagnostic files keep being generated and not deleted. This causes all the space on the drive to be filled and the instance eventually stops working until all the diagnostic files are deleted and the as server is stopped and restarted. Reconfigurations no longer work properly. When I perform a reconfiguration it has errors. The instance still works afterwards, but the node managers no longer seem to function properly. As mentioned above, the node managers stop working properly. For example, running the administration script “stop_http_server” or “start_http_ser

Hi Everyone,  I have an issue on Aurena (21R1) concerning the customer offset proposal. I want to do a partial matching concerning an invoice and a payment on account (CUPOA) For example my invoice = 1000 and my payment = 500  When i try to use the path menu “customer offset  proposals” then “new proposal” even if i used “manual” (i can’t mentionned an allowed difference) or the other (i can mentionned an allowed difference but i can’t validate my offset → I have the pop-up but i can’t finalize it)   I saw on the community that we have to tick the box “allow write-off for partial payment” in company path menu :   Even if this setting nothing happen, do you know if it’s possible to do a partial matching between the invoice and the CUPOA on the path menu “customer offset proposal”?  Thanks in advance for your help !  Best Regards, Jérémy,
