Hi All, I am looking to setup an alert to notify a member of our planning team when the on hand inventory of a part drops to zero. My thought was to setup an event action, but I believe I would then need to configure multiple event actions for each part. Is there a way to setup the event or another feature in IFS that could be used to notify someone in the event the on hand inventory level is zero? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.,

Hi there!My client using IFS10. We performed the Year End Process and we faced an issue. Indeed, we got a gap in our result and this gap is exctacly equal to our “simulation voucher”. For reminder, “simulation voucher” are used to get automatic reverse voucher. So then, those voucher have to be part of the result of the year end and I don’t understand why the system exclude those vouchers?Could you please assist?

Hi, We have identified an issue on mobile  version 15.4.2.0 (and previous version), when typing in description in checklists.As you can see on the screenshot, if I don’t click on the pen to access the “edit mode”, text is well entered (1), but not really considered, as the save button is not available (2).But, if I enter any other information, then I can save and the texte seems to be saved (text in black now as I saved, exit and enterd again in the checklist) But on the server, I can see that the text was NOT sent to the BO. The issue is : the checklist is fullfilled entirely on the phone, and the mobile app checks that, but when closing the activity, data are sent to the server but not the description. So server returns an error message that CL is not complete. How van we fix that ? Thank youLaurence

Hi,I am trying to execute the Archive Media Items background job. According to the technical description and F1-help it is possible to save media items in an Oracle folder (folder within the database server or a folder within the network.). A media archive with the appropriate storage location must be created. This works also so far.However, when the background job is started, no data is stored in the oracle folder. I assume that the media archive must be assigned to the media item. There is also an extra field (field name = “Media Archive”) for this in the windows "Media Item" and "Media Library Manager". Unfortunately, I do not manage to fill this field in any of those two windows.Does anyone have an idea how I can get a value into the field "Media Archive" in the windows "Media Item" and/or "Media Library Manager"?Thank you very much and best regardsTristan

Hi On the last release (15.4) , on a service order Resolve tab> complete order : when I click on “print preview” an invoice pro forma is generated. how can I send it by email ? It was possible to do that with the smart client with the option mail (see below), but I can’t find the way to do that with the web back office.Thanks and Regards

So I’m currently in training for Business Report and have activated Drill Down, but when I select a row from the ‘drill down’ temporary worksheet I don’t get the hyperlink to Query Voucher Rows or Details?

Hello - I am on IFS10, update 13.  I am trying to mark an instant invoice as an advance invoice.  I have accessed the advance invoice reference box via the RMB on the general tab of the instant invoice.  What is this screen supposed to do?  It is asking for an invoice series ID, invoice no and amortized amount.  I can select series ID AD with the list of values.  The other two fields do not have anything in the list of values.  I do have an invoice number series set for series ID AD.  It seems like I missed some setup data somewhere.  I would appreciate an information on setup and creation of the advance invoice.Thanks for your time.

Hi all,  hope somebody can advice as I am not sure.  We use IFSAPP9.We would like to move the tab (window) Questions and Actions little bit lower so we have more space in the header.  I have been trying to do this via Profile » Features and the correct page however it doesn’t seems to be changing.  Would any of you know how this could be done?  Thank you Kind Regards Kate 

Hi, We sometimes have some troubles because of multiple orders still on the mobile phone, whereas they are resolved. The reason is that technicians don’t always click on the “remove” button (see screenshot). Order doesn’t appear anymore in standard view but still appears crossed out in calendar view. I wonder if there is any way to ensure order are really removed from mobile when order is completly resolved ? ALLIANCE 15.1 Mobile version 15.4.2.0

Hi all,Sometime we have to start an operation on a fixed date. The other operations then have to be rescheduled according to that date. In the example below.Operation 20 must start 27-05-2022 06:00:00.The following operations are then rescheduled, but the operation (10) before does not rescheduled . How do we make it do that?

Hello IFS Community, How do I know the username used to run an IAL?Does IFS have a place where I could see the prefixes? I am trying to run the query the following way select * from &IAL.PART_COST2 (According to different posts I have read in the community) I need to add the prefix &IAL.A pop-up window shows up asking for the value of IAL, and I input my AO, then the result is table or view does not exist. Fyi. The IAL was created correctly (See fig ). However, I do not know if I enter the correct username for IAL. 

Hi!I have a problem with IFS App9:1. After Release Customer Order has created Report CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP.2. This report has been created in the background without showing form PrintDialog.3. this report creates a row in PRINT_JOB_TAB to Printer NO_PRINTOUT.4. Report Foramtter as default is starting working in this report and PDF was created and in Archive report checkBox 'Printed' is checked.5. The client wants to stop printing to PDF this report. He wants to go to the Archive manually and print this report himself.Now the client go to the Archive and sees that all Reports as Printed (he released many Orders). He doesn't know with CO he's working on right now.What should I do to stop creating PDF on this report in the background?Now I created a workaround:I created a new logical printer and I assigned this report to this logical Printer.After this assignment, report CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP created row in Print_JOB_TAB but this row ended Status 'Error' because we can see the error:

Afternoon,Using the Shop Floor Workbench in Aurena you can filter by barcode.Is there any specific settings that enables the barcode ID field to allow scanning input from a mobile device (camera) instead of having to manually input the barcode ID? Appreciated, Jamie 

Up to Applications 10 it was possible to manage originals and lend originals. Probably this was not used very often. I can’t find this functionality in IFS Cloud. Is it just solved in a different way or was it removed?

 Hi, I don’t known what is the interest in using  currency balance when you have  a base currency in EUR for example? NB: the code part j for this  is mandatory when you create a company.Is  it  not interesting just  for parallele currency? Thanks a lot

All,I am trying to write documentation for others to follow a process for tax. I search on the page which has a header and body of table (like inventory part availability planning screen below), I then use a save search in context in the table below the header. This search is what I need others to have, is there a way of sharing it? I don’t understand why the pre-posting values that we had added to the PO were not carried forward to the Good Receipts and Goods Issues screen?This is applied for Inventory Parts.We would like to know whether this is due to our setup issues, or if this was caused by a system bug.  Thanks for help!Regards

Hi All,If we copy a file that was saved to an external shared repository, and we place that copy in a folder that is located on the database server, the DBMS_LOB procedures in our process are able to read the file contents as BLOB values and add their contents to the outgoing JSON. But that was failed or have required manual preparation. We need help to handle files in a Repository that is not located on the database server.Someone with tech background that can help to explain this functionality .Or if this external repository handling is a limitation, Please let us know. Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun
