Hello,We are doing an Upgrade for a Customer who is upgrading from Apps10 to IFS Cloud 24R1 (have plans to get 24R2 or 25R1 in future). This is a remote customer who uses a lot of documents.In their current Apps10 system, they have these documents in FTP Repository & database.With the news of FTP getting obsoleted in IFS Cloud 24R1, we decided to implement File Storage for this customer. We have below two questions regarding this situation,We assumed FTP will be fully obsoleted by 24R1 but I can see FTP as an option in this customer’s new 24R1 system. Was this plan to obsolete got changed or postponed to later versions?If FTP is indeed obsoleted and this customer needs to move their documents in FTP to FSS, what would be better/efficient way IFS can suggest? They already went through the FSMig tool’s documentation and have some concerns on the efficiency and support for that tool for FTP. Do we have another tested method in which this customer can benefit from? There is around 5TB

I am trying to add a custom field to the ‘Consists Of’ list in the Engineering Part Navigator window, however when I add a field to the LU EngPartStructure, the field does not display as available to add to the table.Does anyone know how to add a custom field to this table?

We are in the process of transporting data from IFS database into an organization internal Data warehouse. We are needing a list of IFS database objects that have PII information. Please let us know if there is a some kind of have a dictionary or data guide that helps to identify where sensitive entities/fields/etc may be in the databaseProduct Version: 24.2.5Business Impact: Unable to proceed with setting up the ETL process to transport data from IFS database to the internal Datawarehouse

Because of this configuration (that is not available for edit during installation process) and the fact that they’re installed on the same server, only one of the services starts… Can I change these settings, so they don’t conflict with each other?  

Sending Customer Invoice, Debit through EDI (INET_TRANS) create an Application Message called SEND_INVOICE_INET_TRANS. Within this file there is a row called PoReference which was tied to customer_po_no.Now with 25R2 SU7 this has been altered and replaced with internal_po_no.As a result, the Customer PO No from our external customer order is not fetched anymore and missing in the outgoing application message. We need to know, how we can fix this, so the Customer PO No from the external Customer Order can be included again in the application message.  Any advice how we can make this work again, since the CustomerPo is an essential part of the outgoing EDI messages.

What does the “WEB_SITE_ADDRESS” parameter in the Document Default Values in IFS Document Management mean? Does someone know what it does?  The explanation in the IFS Online Documentation about that, is not clear to me.  Thank you and Best Regards,Thushitha

I am trying to set up a database task for condition or criteria based PMs to run automatically, however I can no longer find the PM_Criteria method in cloud. We can still manually run the condition based in the maintenance plan but that is not a viable option for most companies. What am I missing?

We are trying to bulk change the status of Product Structure/ Routings Alternate from Tentative to Buildable as part of the migrated data using the below settings but the job is not updating anything and getting the below error ,not sure what is going wrong here

Hello everyone,we have a customer using PSO Standalone (version 6.16.0.71).Orders are created in an external source system and then transferred to PSO via an interface.Requirement:Some orders are created once (e.g., for a full month), but need to be executed daily for a short duration (e.g., 10 minutes).We are currently using Dynamic Scheduling.In Cyclic Scheduling, we noticed that activities can be defined as “Repeatable”, which is exactly the type of functionality we would need in Dynamic Scheduling.However, we are facing the following limitations:Activities in Cyclic Scheduling are not flexible to adjust or modify Dynamic Scheduling does not provide an equivalent standard feature for recurring activitiesQuestion:Has anyone implemented a similar scenario?Is there a recommended approach or best practice to handle daily recurring activities in Dynamic Scheduling?Thanks in advance!

I have a notification set up to notify next authorizer on Purchase Orders.Does that notify also for change orders?  We are using the full approval for change orders but I am being told they are not getting notified when a change order is out for approval. 

Hi, In Apps 10 - adding custom fields to LEDGER_ITEM_CU_DET_QRY. Works ok as read only. We can add Persistent Fields but it will not let us enter data in the client.Any ideas on why this is and if there is any where we can add this in the client?Current alternative thinking is to use  a Custom LU to enter data which will be picked up by LEDGER_ITEM_CU_DET_QRY. This is for an invoice query management system - so need to be visible on the screen that Credit Control use,

Hi all,We use IFS Applications 10 and schedule shop orders using APB.I’m trying to model a finite physical constraint: we have a limited number of trolleys, which we call banks, that carry material between operations.Example routing:Operation 10 — Work centre A01, fixed 2 hours Operation 20 — Work centre A02, 1 minute per unitMaterial is loaded onto a bank at Operation 10. The same bank then moves with the material to Operation 20 and is only free again once Operation 20 is complete.So the bank should be constrained from:Operation 10 start → Operation 20 finishnot just during each individual operation.For example, if we only have two banks, APB should not allow a third order to start Operation 10 until one of the first two banks has completed Operation 20.I tried modelling this as a tool:Tool ID: BANKInstances: B01, B02Required on Operation 10 and Operation 20But APB releases the tool after Operation 10, then allocates a tool again for Operation 20. I’ve been trying to find an option to add a discount amount for a purchase requisition line. All I can find is the discount percentage, but this is not a valid option. My client is entering after the fact purchase reqs for things like hospitality and a discount amount is often given for a total amount, say $360. I can have the users manually calculate the discount percentage at the line level but this is not user friendly and often doesn’t add up to the correct net amount. I tried to create a 200% discount and it allows me on the Purchase Req line, however, there is a blocking message when attempting to convert to a PO, since the PO line would have a negative amount. I can do the discount total on a PO by using charges and entering a negative amount, however, I’m struggling to find any options to enter a discount amount for a purchase requisition line.Any thoughts or ideas? In the count per count report all the Parts are visible even though its qty on stock is 0.we understand that they are part of all warehouse stock and must be visible but in practice you count only what you have on stock ( if something doesn't exist on stock, it is normal its qty equal 0) therefore it is time consuming comfirming manually qty 0 for all missing parts.Would it be possible to have 0 automatically filled in for all positions with qty on stock 0?of course the field shoud remain editible for any differences.

Hi,We are migrating from version 9 to Cloud (22.1.5) and I am having trouble with an import of Currency rate. In version 9 we generate rate files into a directory on the server and IFS task go take this file and import currency rate.In Cloud version, I cannot see my directory on my server. I want to Sent an Email via Command_Sys.Mail with an Reply Recipient. Is there a way to do this or a solution with custumizations? maybe in the Open Field where otherwise BCC: is in ? Example: Email Send by Test@test.com  but when the user replies the reply will be send to reply@test.com

Hello IFS Community,I have a few questions regarding the upgrade process from IFS Cloud 24R2 to IFS Cloud 26R1/26R2.I have previous upgrade experience with IFS Applications 9 to 10 and IFS Cloud 24, but I haven't yet been involved in an upgrade from IFS Cloud 24 to IFS Cloud 26.I would appreciate any insights on the following: Database Migration Does IFS take a snapshot of the existing database, perform the upgrade to IFS Cloud 26 in a separate environment, and then provide us with a new URL pointing to the upgraded environment? Or is the upgrade process handled differently? Lifecycle Environment During the upgrade, does IFS provision a new Lifecycle environment separate from our existing IFS Cloud 24 Lifecycle, or is the existing Lifecycle updated as part of the process?
