I’m looking to build an IFS lobby that provides comprehensive reporting on project spend, including both committed and actual costs. Are there APIs or other efficient methods available to consolidate this data into a single data source for integration?

Hi AllWe need to integrate PDF files with surrounding systems. However, even when retrieving only a single record, we sometimes encounter the error "ODP_PAYLOAD_TOO_LARGE_ERROR" due to large file sizes(Greater than 64 KB). Hi,I am getting following error in a upgrade (From App9 to IFSCloud 23R1). In the mtinstaller when runs for the frst time I get following error. its something comes for DB hot IP CIDR value. Hello,I have a conceptual doubt regarding how CALLOFF and PLAN schedules work together within the Master Scheduling (MS) module in IFS Applications 10.Current situation:We are working with Customer Schedules from an automotive customer, which sends two types of documents:CALLOFF with line type FIR (Delivery Authorized) — short-term firm demandPLAN with line type VIS/PRE (Delivery Not Authorized) — mid/long-term forecast demandBoth documents are in Released status.Expected behavior:Our understanding is that when importing Customer Schedules into MS, both documents should feed the MS as follows:CALLOFF/FIR → Sub MS Receipt (firm demand)PLAN/VIS/PRE → Register Forecast (planning demand)This would give us a complete planning horizon: firm demand in the short term covered by CALLOFF, and forecast demand in the mid/long term covered by PLAN.Current behavior:Only the CALLOFF schedule is being imported into the MS. Hi All,In IFS APP 10 and Oracle database, Am I correct to say: IFS does not continuously check for changes and new notifications. Instead, it works in a reactive way.This means:When something happens (like an approval or status change), the system triggers the notification immediately It does not keep checking repeatedly to see if something changedA simple way to think about it:It works like a doorbell — when pressed, it responds instantlyNot like repeatedly opening the door to check if someone is there. Many thanks in advance

Having copied the PurchaseOrderPrint.report and .PurchaseOrderPrint.rdf to my custom area.Opened in IFS Developer Studio.  Added an entity to the PurchaseOrderPrint.report and updating the .rdf as required.  After saving the changes then clicked Generate Code.   On checking the generated .rdf file the SELECT statements appear to have changed.     CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturer IS      SELECT         NULL            NULL      FROM dual;          However, in the original PurchaseOrderPrint.rdf from CORE there is a CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturers:   CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturers(contract_ VARCHAR2, part_no_ VARCHAR2, vendor_no_ VARCHAR2) IS     SELECT *           FROM   purchase_part_suppl_manuf     WHERE  contract  = contract_     AND    part_no   = part_no_     AND    vendor_no = vendor_no_;     There are quite a few other CURSOR statements that are very similar.      

There’s a confusion on the behavior of the event that reminds of the Target Day. As per the customer, whenever he raises a PO some folks get an email for the target day, and when others raise it, they don't get it even though they belong to the same approval purchase group.Need to find out the system behavior based on the setup and who should get notified and why - that would be good to figure out here so we can use this optimally. TIA

I’ve never tried creating conditional formatting based off of a null/blank date field before and nothing I seem to try works. The docs say you can use the same conditions as you do in search, so I tried !%. Ironically % works for identifying records with dates.  I’ve tried <>%, = and <1/1/1 with no affect. Tried just <> to a date range, as you enter it you get ‘Your query can not be compiled’ Any ideas/solutions?   Thanks, Lane

When a material has multiple suppliers, can the IFS AI automatically adjust the order allocation ratio based on supplier performance such as delivery performance and quality performance?

In a BPA Workflow service task, I need to read data from a projection and filter by multiple values for the same field (OR condition). The obvious approach of using duplicate keys in ifsBpaProjectionParameters does not work:<camunda:entry key="Role">IFSFULL</camunda:entry><camunda:entry key="Role">ABC</camunda:entry>    My workaround is to create one service task per value and combine results in a script task, but this gets messy with three or more values.Has anyone found a cleaner solution? For example:- A supported multi-value syntax in ifsBpaProjectionParameters?- Using ifsBpaFilterQuery with an OData OR expression like: Field eq 'Value1' or Field eq 'Value2'? Thanks!

Hi,We are currently experiencing an issue in IFS 22R2(22.2.9) where the reporting pods require frequent restarts, occurring several times each month during month end activities. We would like to understand whether this is a known issue and seek guidance on the root cause and recommended resolution.When the issue occurs, print jobs enter a “Waiting” status within IFS. No explicit errors are logged, and pod health indicators appear normal. However, report processing does not continue until the reporting pod is restarted.Restarting the ifsapp-reporting-<id> pod (stop followed by start) immediately resumes report processing. I convert the part drawings in AutoCAD into PDFs and upload them to IFS. When there is a revision, I delete the old file and re-upload the new one from scratch.IFS'e gir -> Dosyayı bul -> Sil -> Onayla -> Yeni PDF seç -> Yükle -> Onayla(Enter IFS → Find the file → Delete → Confirm → Select new PDF → Upload → Confirm)This way, operators in production can view the drawings of the parts I upload under the same code while they are processing them.Currently, there has been a change, and all the drawings I uploaded need to be deleted and re-added one by one under the same part code.Instead of this, I would like the folder where we store the PDFs to be shared with IFS, so that when I make a change in the folder, the operator viewing it can directly see the updated drawing.I would appreciate your help.

Hi all, On the Shop Floor Workbench, parts are received for which an SSCC code must be created. The Create SSCC option is available in the Approve Operation screen, but it is currently turned off by default. I would like to know how this can be set to default as enabled.Kind regards, Willem

When we go into the Change order line 2 has been cancelled but it has been linked to Activities and when we try to update the Purchase order we get this message. We have tried lots of options to cancel the change order but it’s just stuck.We just want to cancel the change order and Cancel the 2nd line on the purchase order 

Hi, we are working on upgrading from Apps10 update 20 to 25R2.  We have been building some basic data in Apps10 aurena to import into Cloud but we use IEE in production.  While in Aurena, I can successfully create a call center case but after selecting the dummy customer we use for call center, the callers didn’t come up in the LOV, it only showed my name.   The list used to be retrieved from the  support agreement, customer contacts table and I maintain that as people come and go.   In Aurena, it looks like you have to add the CC contacts on the customer itself, is that right?  As soon as I added a user directly on the customer, then her name appeared as selectable in the new case assistant.  Thanks,Mary

Hi, We’re trying to set up a material overhead with a fixed cost per part in the structure - the idea is that each issue shall generate a posting with that cost, and that there should be a fixed cost per part rolled up to the next level. E g if the overhead is 100, and there are two parts in the structure of the manufactured part, the cost would be 200. Our overhead generates correctly when the material is issued on the shop order. But we cannot get it to show in the Part Cost. The documentation seems to indicate that it should be possible, but we have tried several combinations with no success so far. Is this possible, and how should the overhead be set up in such a case? Tested in 25.2.3/ Kenneth
