Hello IFS Community,I would appreciate help from experienced IFS users, consultants and developers in reviewing the following RemoveTrans behavior and determining the correct configuration. The mechanism described below appears to behave less like ordinary housekeeping and more like a self-amplifying feedback loop: historical records can be repeatedly re-qualified, new technical records are created from already processed loads, and some of those newly created records can later contribute to subsequent executions. In practical terms, the behavior resembles a mailbomb-like feedback loop or self-amplifying process — not because anything malicious is happening, but because one execution can create additional technical records that increase the amount of work performed by future executions. The objective of this post is to understand whether this behavior is expected by design and what the correct configuration should be to prevent repeated processing without affecting legitimate External File

Does anyone know how to split supplier allocation in IFS? If I want to give 50% of the volume to one supplier and 50% to another, what needs to change in IFS? how does it behave? Thanks!

Hi,During an investigation, I came across a scenario where a Customer Order was created for a Phantom Part, and a Shop Order was also manually created for the same Phantom Part. Both orders were connected to a Project. After executing PMRP, I noticed that an MRP Action Proposal was generated with the message "Need Orders".What I find confusing is that the manually created Shop Order has a finish date earlier than the Customer Order need date, meaning it should be able to satisfy the demand. However, the MRP Action Proposal still indicates "Need Orders".Is this because the supply from the Phantom Part Shop Order itself is not considered by PMRP/MRP? I can see that supply has been generated for the component parts beneath the Phantom Part structure, which suggests that the Phantom Part is being exploded and planned at the component level. My question is: Why does the MRP Action Proposal display the message "Need Orders" even though there is a Shop Order for the Phantom Part that appears c

We have an audit requirement which requires to report the last login date and time for a user in IFS. In APPS8 we could get this information from the SERVER_LOG_TAB using the log category “IFS Sessions’. However, IFS cloud does not have this category as a server log parameter. There are some details in the IAM_LOGIN_EVENT_DETAIL_TAB but seems like it does not keep the long-term history of sessions. Can you advise how to get this data recorded and retrieved on demand?

Hi All,In IFS using currency rate update workflow functions, can we update different rate types using different sources?Eg:In company ABC, Currency rate type 1 - Normal to be updated using commercial bank rate source.ABC company , currency rate type 4 - Month-end rates to be updated using Central bank rates. Can we do that by configuring different task IDs and different workflows?

Hello, where can i found CRM panel for IFS24R1?Thanks

Hello.  We’d like to edit a value on a slide-out panel.  We’ve tried to find what “assistant” or page this might belong to, but haven’t had any luck. I changed the “default value” under several lists and groups for Return Type and none of them impact this slide out menu that I can find. Question 1: Is there a way to edit this from the Receipt page designer, or in an assistant page? Question 2: How do we easily pinpoint what the URL (or segment in Page Designer) is related to these slide-out panels for future reference?  I’ve spent probably 45 minutes poking around page designer without success.

Hi all,Users are required to send E-Invoices including invoices images based on their custom layouts but when processing an e-invoice it always picks the default/standard print layout and generates the xml. There are layouts made based on different country requirements and need to set it up against each company print and currently when trying to send e-invoice there is no option to select it. Is there a way to achieve this or any alternative solutions?Appreciate your answers and suggestions.Thank you.

Hi all,We are using the standard IFS Outside Operation / Subcontracting process and have a question regarding the creation and management of purchase requisitions and purchase orders. When a shop order is released, IFS automatically creates the related purchase requisitions or purchase orders for the outsourced operation, depending on the selected supply type. In practice, we often face situations where:Previous operations are delayed and the planned quantity is not yet available for outsourcing. Only part of the quantity can be shipped to the supplier due to transportation capacity constraints/ delays in previous operations.  The standard approach is to split the shop order, which updates the purchase requisitions/orders and creates new requisitions/orders with a later delivery date. However, managing these splits requires significant effort because it is difficult to determine exactly:How much quantity has already been reported as Ship WIP to Supplier. How much quantity is still waitin

HiWe just starting to use PM Actions for preventative maintenance and have come accross a scenario that I’m not sure which is the best way to sort. PM Action Maintenance Triggers are set to NOT be Performed Date Based as this is what we need. The Maintenance Plan generates as expected and when we run the Condition or Calendar Generation jobs the Work Orders are all created as expected. However if you cancel the work order created from the work order pages I can not find a way to remove this from the PM Action Maitenance Line and as the Performed Date Based is not enabled a new plan line isn’t created for another work order to be generated, the system appears to think that that PM Action line is not needed and a Work Order will not be generated until the next PM Action line meets generation criteria. Is there a better way to rectify this then creating a new PM Action revision which is currently the only way we have found to sort this out. Thanks for your help in advance, Sarah.

@kamnlk @dsj I have a scenario where I want to trigger an async BPA WF based on new rows being inserted in INVOICE_TAB.When using an intercompany invoice scenario - customer invoice in company A and supplier invoice in company B, the supplier invoice in company B is created by Connectivity Outbox background job.It seems the event action / WF is not trigerred when record is being inserted by a Backgroung Job. Do you know if there’s any workaround for that?I did turn on Watch on the WF, but the only observations being logged are the ones for the Customer Invoice in company A which is created online.Any input on this is much appreciated.
