Hi all,We use IFS Applications 10 and schedule shop orders using APB.I’m trying to model a finite physical constraint: we have a limited number of trolleys, which we call banks, that carry material between operations.Example routing:Operation 10 — Work centre A01, fixed 2 hours Operation 20 — Work centre A02, 1 minute per unitMaterial is loaded onto a bank at Operation 10. The same bank then moves with the material to Operation 20 and is only free again once Operation 20 is complete.So the bank should be constrained from:Operation 10 start → Operation 20 finishnot just during each individual operation.For example, if we only have two banks, APB should not allow a third order to start Operation 10 until one of the first two banks has completed Operation 20.I tried modelling this as a tool:Tool ID: BANKInstances: B01, B02Required on Operation 10 and Operation 20But APB releases the tool after Operation 10, then allocates a tool again for Operation 20. It does not appear to hold the same

Hi All,We need to use Region attribute in request management to use in several places such as Selection Rules, Task Regions etc.However, it seems that region alone does not work and we need to tie it with a location to make it usable. Since we get requests from different locations almost every time saving locations may not be that useful. Address and Region combination would be ideal for our work. If we use dummy location per region then that will make exception in PSO with invalid location.Can anyone give any input on this?

In the count per count report all the Parts are visible even though its qty on stock is 0.we understand that they are part of all warehouse stock and must be visible but in practice you count only what you have on stock ( if something doesn't exist on stock, it is normal its qty equal 0) therefore it is time consuming comfirming manually qty 0 for all missing parts.Would it be possible to have 0 automatically filled in for all positions with qty on stock 0?of course the field shoud remain editible for any differences.

Hi,We are migrating from version 9 to Cloud (22.1.5) and I am having trouble with an import of Currency rate. In version 9 we generate rate files into a directory on the server and IFS task go take this file and import currency rate.In Cloud version, I cannot see my directory on my server. I want to Sent an Email via Command_Sys.Mail with an Reply Recipient. Is there a way to do this or a solution with custumizations? maybe in the Open Field where otherwise BCC: is in ? Example: Email Send by Test@test.com  but when the user replies the reply will be send to reply@test.com

Hello IFS Community,I have a few questions regarding the upgrade process from IFS Cloud 24R2 to IFS Cloud 26R1/26R2.I have previous upgrade experience with IFS Applications 9 to 10 and IFS Cloud 24, but I haven't yet been involved in an upgrade from IFS Cloud 24 to IFS Cloud 26.I would appreciate any insights on the following: Database Migration Does IFS take a snapshot of the existing database, perform the upgrade to IFS Cloud 26 in a separate environment, and then provide us with a new URL pointing to the upgraded environment? Or is the upgrade process handled differently? Lifecycle Environment During the upgrade, does IFS provision a new Lifecycle environment separate from our existing IFS Cloud 24 Lifecycle, or is the existing Lifecycle updated as part of the process? Hi,Recently, I have updated our dev environment from 22R2 to 23R2SU6. However, since the Crystal report is required SSL communication. I found an error (from kibana log) when I try to call a simple crystal report. Hi, We are running TD25R1-SU14 on-prem.Grafana is installed, but not configured. How do we configure the mail server settings? Everything is inside POD’s, so I guess there must be a config file we can edit before deploying the middle-tier ?This is normally set in grafana.ini - I have search all of the deployment for a file with that name, no luck. BRTorben

HiCurrently, we are running IFS Applications 10 UPD24 with Oracle Database 19.8. We are also using Crystal Reports, Touch Apps services, and several additional utilities. Our current operating system is Windows Server 2016.We are planning to upgrade the server operating system to Windows Server 2022. Could you kindly confirm whether Windows Server 2022 is fully supported for IFS Applications 10 UPD24, including Crystal Reports, Touch Apps services, related utilities, and Oracle Database 19.8?

Hi Experts,I was wondering if there is a way to manage standard tasks revisions in NGSM solution. As of at 25R2 and 26R1 I was unable to find any as such. In previous work order solution, task templates have this capability. This is a very crucial business requirement whoever using standard tasks in their business as updating any changes on revisions in all over the system manually is a tedious task,  unless a quite complex CRIM is build.Any workarounds or plans to get this functionality into the core pls ?Thank you,Roshan  

Can these two run in different queues?As you can see these currently are in the same queue, but I am experiencing some slowness.Looks like Batch_Calculate runs and then Batch_Calculate_Details will run afterwards when both run. 

On a form I have a custom multi-select field linked to the Contact Users.  When an event is created, within the ETM, how do I get the id values of each selected contact user record, please?  I need them to then add as additional users.  (I have a working process for single user, and multiple user from individual fields, but logic is defying me for a multi-select field.)Thanks

Hello, If I make manual changes to an activity in PSO, is it possible to see who made the changes? I have found this information in the documentation and it seems like it would be possible.I have enabled the parameter ReasonRequired and now I must give a reason each time I make a change to an activity, but in the History Tab I still cannot see information about who made the changes or the reason. Should I look somewhere else or is there another parameter for that? Thank you very much,Iulia

Hi all,we are working on payment advice setup through even PDF_REPORT_CREATED and I get the error ‘Mail address 'To' field is not specified’ when testing. it seems like supplier email contact does not fetch into &PDF_PARAMTER_1 correctly. I hardcoded the email address To field and tested, it works.Appreciate if anyone can guide me on is issue with the setup. Screen shots are as below.

We are trying to migrate Open stock  which I am trying to do using migration job , the data is loaded successfully and can see it under “Inventory Parts in Stock “, what are the next steps to transfer the balance to GL please? I am trying “ Transfer Inventory Transactions “  option but I can’t see any transactions generated ,is there a step in between I am missing here to generate the inventory transactions so that they can be transferred to GL? I can’t see any data under Inventory transaction history as well so looks like I am missing a step here  

In the Register Arrivals screen, when trying to enter a receipt reference for the receipt of multiple purchase order lines (on the same order, same supplier), I am finding the receipt reference that I enter is being overwritten by an autogenerated number giving each line a unique ID (which is what I don’t want).  Can someone help me with what setting or data point is preventing my receipt reference from being saved?
