Hi everyone,Context IFS Applications 8 (please see exact update/build if needed) Scope: Purchase receiving lot (Receive Purchase Order), not shop/work order lots. Inventory Part master has Allow Sub Lot checked. What we see In Lot/Batch Master, the Sub Lot information exists in the UI but appears inactive/not usable in IFS 8. During PO Receipt (Receive Purchase Order), we need to split the incoming Lot/Batch into multiple sub lots (e.g., for nesting/cutting). What we tried Verified Inventory Part setup: Tracking: Lot/Batch controlled. Allow Sub Lot = Yes. Looked for a function in PO receipt / Arrival flows to do Lot Split → couldn’t find one. Checked Lot/Batch Master: Sub Lot area is visible but not active to create/maintain sub lots tied to the received lot. Thanks in advance for any IFS 8–specific guidance, documentation pointers, or best practices.

Hi, There is a WO for the Object connected to the Work Center Resource. However, the Maintenance Import job is not creating a Resource Break.  Cloud version Data setup Site enabled for APBScheduling Horizon is 8hrs to 365 days. (Work Task days are within this horizon) Object Connected to the WC Resource WO/and Work Task are both for the same above Object Task Site is the same  Duration, Planned Start/Finish dates are specified Operational Status of the task object is “Obstructive” Task status is “Released” (tried with “Started” as well)  Executed the Job Already tried executing for the entire site as well  No Resource Break created for this WC Resource Any idea what am I missing here ?

HiWe would like to provide Customer Invoice .pdf’s to an external Customer facing application using standard IFS API’s. I would view the invoice .pdf in Aurena via report archive using a result key. Has anybody successfully integrated a similar solution?We are using Apps10 UPD15. We don’t have Boomi. Here is what we have found so far:Using the log window we have found the Report Archive projection and enabled compatibility. We have then viewed an invoice .pdf and can see it makes an API call and gets an ID related to the Result Key. From there it seems to construct a URL and opens the .pdf in a new browser tab. Here is an example URL generated:https://IFStestSystem:58080/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReportArchive.svc/ArchiveDocumentSet(ResultKey=2739813,Id='da20f8df-9bea-496f-9866-6db9381f65b8')/PdfWhile this works I can see a couple of issues with this approach:It requires authentication to the Aurena client and once the user has access to the pdf if they knew how they could past

We have noticed when building assistants there are some scenarios where pressing ‘enter’ will trigger the finish command and other functionally identical scenarios we have to press ‘enter’ twice to trigger the finish command. In the twice key press scenario, simply opening the debug console will allow this scenario to execute as intended. I want to know if there is any way to identify why this is happening. The interplay between a validate command completion and when the finish command is executed is where we have noticed this inconsistency. Any help or shared experience would be very much appreciated.​@IFS Community ​@IFS Elite Solution Experts

Hello, I have noticed system behavior that I am not able to correct. We use the PO Change Order function in IFS. If a PO is in a Released status, you cannot connect a Project Activity, the system indicates you must use a Change Order. However, when you create one, there is no location on the Change Order to attach the project connection. I do not understand this design. Is there a way to update a PO and connect a project when the PO is in a Released status? As of now, the only workaround I have found is to cancel the PO and recreate it in a Planned state. We are using Apps 10 UPD 12. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi, Is there anyone has experience with customers’ LTU licenses for IFS Cloud? Based on IFS standard documentation, to enable user consume LTU license, only by connecting the users to LTU permission sets. But when customer purchase LTU license on IFS cloud, there is no LTU permission set available to chose from. Where could customer / partner get the LTU license for IFS cloud? and how to enable it when available? Thanks, Sutoto

The context for this inquiry is a close partner/supplier who uses Kafka as a message broker, and they have a desire to use it to send and recieve event information for events that should be mirrored in their ITSMs and our Assyst without also having to set up a Kafka REST Proxy unless absolutely necessary.AssystETM utilizes ActiveMQ as its message bus and can be set up to consume messages from other ActiveMQ message buses than the dedicated assyst one. However, a pull based message broker such as kafka does not seem to be mentioned in the wiki.I don’t have high hopes this is possible out of the box as of now, and it sounds ill-advised for us to try adding a Kafka client OSGi bundle to IPaaS ourselves😅. This will be On-Prem to On-Prem UpgradeWe would like to know whether the database upgrade can be performed in a customer-hosted (On-Prem) interim environment rather than doing it in an environment hosted by IFS. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide some insight into this matter.

Hi,We have a custom enumeration that’s been updatable but now also needs to be insertable; it seems like every other DB option is editable except for insertable. Are we stuck now that this was already created? I tried disapproving/unpublishing, no luck.

Has anyone ever seen a BPA validation observation throw the error, but the IFS user interface not register it?  This was working properly and stopping the release of the Sales Quotation header until I updated the JavaScript to also check an additional custom field. It was already checking oob fields and a custom field. Any ideas on what the cause might be, would be appreciated.   

When attempting to delete a supplier with an existing object connection to an approval routing, the associated approval line remains in the system. Consequently, users cannot delete the workflow through the Approvals window. Steps to Recreate the Issue:01. Navigate to Object Connections and add an approval routing for 'SupplierInfoGeneral' Logical Unit. Go to the Supplier window, create a new supplier, and add a new approval setup. [Note: A new approval line will be created automatically.]02. Delete the newly created supplier.03. Navigate to the Approvals Window and approval line is still available. Can anyone please assist in finding the reason for this?

Hi Experts,I get this fail transaction if I create an additional work from a request task using option ‘Request additional work that needs to be done’. I use copy task detail option as well.It is not clear how to refresh map positions in back end. I refreshed the relevant tasks but still cannot get rid of the fail transaction. Hello, I want to use the functionality ‘Process ID’ on Business Opportunities. If I am correct there is a Validation/Approval functionality which I would like to use. But I am unable to set up the basic data. Here is the issue: I cannot setup the Default Process in CRM and SRM Basic Data. When I save the record I get the Error Message ‘The Rm Proc Process does not exist’. I am also unable to set up a Sales Process Template and Sales Process because there is no Process ID. Anyone who is familiar with this setup and who can help me out?

Hello Community,We have a scenario where a Shop Order with a lot size of 100 pcs is scheduled using APB.For Operation 10, all 100 pcs are planned to be completed in 21 hours.Considering an 8-hour workday, the operation 10 would take roughly 3 days to complete.My question is: Where in IFS Cloud can we see the per-day planned quantity for such operations?I am looking for a way to monitor the breakdown (e.g., daily planned output) instead of only seeing the total planned hours or duration for the operation.Any guidance, best practices, or navigation tips would be highly appreciated. ​@Björn Hultgren ​@matt.watters would appreciate your input.
