Hello,Ubuntu 20.04 is nearing end of Support (By 2025 April). Does anyone know whether there are plans to have a more latest Ubuntu version (22.04/24.04) for the Upcoming Cloud releases starting from IFS Cloud 24R2?Thanks

Is there a way to mark in the customer order line the parts that get sold to a specific service object? There is the Superior SM Object ID which triggers the creation of a Service Object and creation of the Object Hierarchy, however so far I could not get non-serial parts to simply appear underneath the object selected in the section: Service Object → Service Information → Parts Used This would really make sense to have it there as well, as not all parts are always being sold through a Request. Some are being sold through a Customer Order CheersN

Does anyone know how to split supplier allocation in IFS? If I want to give 50% of the volume to one supplier and 50% to another, what needs to change in IFS? how does it behave? Thanks!

Hi,We recently upgraded from Apps10 to Cloud 24R1. We have a requirement to set some fields on the Work Task’s Report Time screen to ‘Not Editable’ so that users cannot modify default values.I am fairly familiar with Page Designer and have done this on other screens but it doesn’t seem like I can get to this page within the context. Would this be because it is an assistant?Is there any where in the context where the properties of these fields can be modified?Thanks for any info you can provide.Lorraine

In Apps10 it is possible to assign an unassigned company to your user account or others (of course granted you have the permissions) But in IFS Cloud, if the company is not assigned to your ID you cannot assign it to your ID or to others unless you have the ADMINISTRATOR privilege. Is there another way to do this without assigning the ADMINISTRATOR privilege?

There is no field to set Doc_Class. I also looked into Document Default Values / Object Properties / System Params looking for a  way to define a default doc_class for the scan delivery note functionality.​@Mathias Dahl do you have hints on this? Has anyone added a lobby page as a navigation from a page in cloud 22r2?I am trying to add Customer360 as a custom button from case but I do not see the customer 360 page in the navigation link drop down  

In 22R1 there is a new concept introduced to identify equipment object, key will be “Equipment Object Sequence”. Object can be moved from one site to another, also to another company. What appears to be not possible is to change Object ID. I am currently in project where the Object ID itself tells in which process facility etc. the object is located and therefore they are constantly (in their legacy system) changing the Object Identification. The object ID could change from e.g. 10-22-45-67-11 => 10-22-44-67-11. There is of course a unique ID in the background, similar to Equipment Object Sequence.  Once we now have a new key, Equipment Object Sequence, does it make easier or even practically possible to make modification that would allow to change the Object ID?  Is that kind of functionality in the requirements backlog? Viewing the location in functional hierarchy in equipment object navigator has been proposed, but the problem is that it does not show the parent structure of give

Hi, I have a question regarding the Pool Work option in MWO. Is it possible to transfer Crew work as a Pool Task when multiple Crews are expected to work on the same job?

I’ve created a Repair Work Order for a Serial Part with Repair and Return to Inventory option. This generates a work order with one work task. I then issue the repair part to the material tab, which automatically creates the return line.I then perform reporting of the Work Order and Work Task, and both are now sitting in Work Done state. I then want to return the repaired part to inventory. However when I try to return, I’m told that the Serial Part is issued on a Work Task that is not Finished. But I can’t finish the work task without returning the part. I can’t unissue or modify the return line. Hi Team,We are currently testing the IFS Credit Card Interface and encountered an error while posting a customer credit card-connected invoice. According to the IFS user guide, an offset transaction should be created when the invoice is posted.  However, when posting the invoice, a background job is created with the description 'Create Offset Payment Transaction,' but it goes into a warning state with the error: 'ORA-20105: Payment.NOTRANS: Payment does not contain any transactions. Occurred when applying payment CUPOA 5 for Invoice 970000006. Offset unsuccessful. As a result, no offset transaction is created, and the CUPOA is matched with the customer check that was created at the time of delivery. I’m getting an error in Print Manager, (An item with the same key has already been added) but the report is still printing. What would cause this? If i print through ‘Order Report’ I don’t get the error. I ger the error if I print using  RMB sql action or when I print using an event trigger sql action. It happens now on two different reports with different views. Has anybody else seen this error when printing?Thank you,

Hello, Recently I have seeing the sync issue between mobile application and Cloud, I try to start the Assignment and fill Time Entries from mobile but the status doesn’t updates on cloud. I checked the failed transactions and found the error - ORA-20105: ActiveSeparate.ACTSTARTISLATER: Actual Start is later than todays date for work order 694. Does anyone know why this is happening with few accounts while others work perfectly and what is the fix Thanks & Regards,Mani

Does anyone have an idea about garbage memory collection in IFS Cloud K8s PODs?Recently, I was investigating one of our customers’ ifsapp-connect pod crashing multiple times due to OOM, and for further analysis, I created a Java heap dump of the pod.Then I noticed that before heap dump generation, it was consuming 2397Mi, but soon after heap dump generation, it was reduced to 907Mi. Before heap dump After heap dumpThe reason for this is that when I generate the Java heap dump, the full garbage collector (GC) runs and dead objects get reclaimed.As far as my investigation goes, this can only be achieved by generating the heap dump. When we initiate the GC run manually, it won't release the memory, and it will reserve the cleared memory for future usage. Is there Cost history details for Shop Orders? Can I export all cost bucket detail for shop orders from the last 2 years? Where is the data stored? I need the cost data for all shop orders.
