Hi, In this issue, the end-user has canceled the supplier shipment for return materials. Now the materials are in shipment location with a reservation to receipt. However, the end user now wants to return the material back to the supplier. However, we cannot select the material in the shipment inventory to do the return. How can we do the return? Hi All, I have the requirement that a minimum purchase order value must be set on a supplier. Regardless of which parts. Can this be set in IFS Cloud so that a charge to be set automatically appears on the PO if a minimum purchase order value is not reached? Thanks in advance for your help.

Question to the configuration and framework gurus: Is it possible to configure hierarchical LoVs using custom fields? We often see this use case in failure trees, where up to 5 fields are populated to categorize a problem (and potentially present suggested solutions). For example, in Field1 you can choose 1, 2, 3. When you select 1, Field2 offers 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. When you select 1.3, Field3 offers 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.3, etc. You get the idea. 😁 In Structured Failure Management we have a 3-level tree, so somehow it seems to be possible, but ideally I’m looking for a solution that works in Page Designer. Appreciate your help.

Hi all, I try to log-on to Business Reporter, but I face strange error, which I have never met before: When I click “Refresh the page.” I get this error: I have installed this website’s certificate and this environmental works in browser correctly. I have also prepared IAM Client as it should: I have done this several times before for different environmental, and I have faced an errors when IAM Client or certificate is not defined correctly, but now I have done and defined them for this environmental at least twice.​​​​​​​ Certificate are stored on “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” -folder. I also stored them to different locations too, but did not make any difference. This environmental is working on 24R1 SU1.

We are in the process of adding country of origin data against the supplier for purchase part records however some of our suppliers, typically distributors, could supply the same part from multiple origins which they wouldn’t know until the point of dispatch. If we were to populate the SFPP record with the most likely country of origin, is there any scope in IFS to be able to register the country of origin at goods receipt, should it differ to what has been listed on the SFPP record?

Hello, not sure if I’m not looking in the right place or if the data just isn’t brought through to the historical work order. We are on 24.2.2 version of Cloud, when I am using the Ad hoc Work Reporting the field ‘Performed Work’ is where I write what has been done to the object (functional and serial). However once the work order that is created goes to Historical status I can not see this field or the details I’ve typed in anywhere. Also when in conclude work order and go to the work tasks, using the Reporting command button and select report action taken, a pop out opens and you can free type. Again once the order is set to historical, I can not see this detail. Please can anyone help point to where I need to look, thanks. Sarah

I am having a problem give permission of “Work Assignment Information” tree view to general users. This tree view is under the window My Task ( under Service and Maintenance module, attached ) in IFSAPP10. I have already checked both presentation objects and Database objects in the permission set window but unable to find anything related with the text of tree view menu, so, unable to give permission from permission window. The users I am trying to give permission can access My Work window. There have been a couple of posts but none of them actually have a resolution.

In an effort to fix a Person ID creation error - our HR Department terminated an employee in IFS. After advising them we could not do what they wanted to do as far as the PERSON ID being tied to the same Employee ID on a new person ID. When we attempt the rehire process we are getting an “overlapping date intervals” error message. In this example the employee was originally hired on 12/09/2024, Terminated on 2/16/25, we are trying to rehire as of 2/17/25 and this is when the error populates

Hello, We would like to set up Azure Blob Storage to host attachments as well as GED documents. IFS Cloud version : 24.1.4 We are using IFS Cloud in remote mode, but there is very little documentation. Our goal is to avoid overloading our Oracle database with documents. From what I understand, FTP and FTPS are being deprecated, so we are opting for a solution based on Azure Blob Storage. I found this documentation: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/120_file_storage_for_remote/122_installation_guide/. Do you know if this solution works with a shared Azure Blob Storage? These are variables to add to the YAML file, I assume, since these functions don't exist by default in the file? Hello, I’m in the Sales Contract and have Audit Enabled with Change Comment Required. I have not problem creating a new revision but when I save after adding a new item the system barks at me with the message Change Comment is required since Audit Trail is enable with Change Comment Required. But the problem I have is that the field labelled Change Order Comment is disabled: I don’t see another field in which I could put a Change Comment.

We are using developer studio to create customized code for IFS Cloud 22R2 (22.2.3) and want to start using the PLSQL Test tool. However, I get two strange errors when I try. I have created a utility package and a function in that, then created the pltst file and a simple test. What happens is this: Compile the pltst file: OK Run the test (from pltst file): Information box stating “PLTST does not contain any unit tests!”. But test results tab shows one successful test and is green. I have also checked that the tests can actually fail if I change conditions, so it seems that tests are actually running and doing their job at this point. Run test again: same information box, but now test fails with error. “DROP PACKAGE C_PROD_LINE_KANBAN_MTRL_TST ORA-04043: object C_PROD_LINE_KANBAN_MTRL_TST does not exist”. The .tst file starts with “CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE C_Prod_Line_Kanban_Mtrl_TST IS...” So there is a difference between upper and lower case. However both the package name and the te

Apologies if I’m just missing it, but I don’t see anything in the Wiki about it either. In previous versions, we could select multiple events in an event monitor using Shift or Ctrl, then right click and take an action on all of the selected events. How do you do that in 24R2? I select multiple check boxes for the tickets I want to action, but as soon as I right click on one of the selected tickets to take an action, the rest of the selected tickets are unchecked. Is it not possible to action multiple tickets in the new version in the new event monitor view?

I have been advised that FSM 6 goes into extended support in January 2026 and then into restricted support in January 2029. However, I have not been given any further information on if this will incur additional fees, or what alternative products IFS have available other than IFS Cloud (which is a 7 x more expensive). Does anyone know anywhere I can find out more or know themselves?

Hello, I am trying to setup a Object Connection Transformation that will allow user to view all documents associated with Case Tasks on the parent Case. I’ve gotten the reverse situation to work (view the Case documents on a Case Task). See screenshots attached. Is this a situation where you need to define a custom transformation function? Is that something that you have to do in the build place or can it be accomplished through the IFS cloud itself? I have a Case with 1 document attached and a Case Task with one document attached. At the case level, I would expected to see 2 attachments, but am seeing one with the current configuration.

After generating the Business Report, I tried saving it as a PDF using the 'Save As' option from BR options, but the option is inactive. What could be the reason?

I have a user who is asking a question about why a specific control type within a posting type cannot be changed (FAP51/AC1). Are there ‘out of the box’ posting type/control type that cannot be changed? The effort is to change the control type within the posting type, but they are unable to do so. Hello, I have a situation that has me baffled. If I create a project invoice from an invoice plan, a value shows up in the Preliminary Revenue column. But, if I create one from an AFP, the value does NOT show in the Preliminary Revenue column. Are the AFP posting types still in play in this scenario? Any help is appreciated. Thank you Patrick

I am trying to create a before workflow that will change or add a value for a custom field on Purchase Order Header entered by the user or left blank at the creation of a purchase order. I got the change part to work but is struggling with he ‘add value’ part.If the custom field is left blank during the creation of the order, no value for the cf is passed to the workflow . Not even information that the value for the cf is null. Does anyone know how to have the workflow to add a variable on the way to the original projection call?I tried to just usign a workflow with script component to add the value and I can see the value in the observation but that isn’t added to the projection call.I would like to avoid just to update the record after creation as the user then has to refresh the record every time a po is created to see the value in the cf.The value for a cf is fetched from another place in the system and is not the same every time so a dafault value for the cf will not work. We have a “Service Department” FX that I am wondering if someone may be able to assist with. We have a service offering that we have set up to be used as a stand-alone offering or as part of a few of our Bundle offerings. We are looking to have it assign to a desktop team based on region if used as part of any of the bundles, and to the Service Desk when it is not being used as of a bundle/ as a stand-alone or being used as part of a bundle when the region field is blank/null.
