Hello everybody, in IFS APPS10 we had a field “Input File Directory”. It is no loger available in IFS Cloud.How can I define the server directory on this screen? Thank you.

Hi All, I’ve created a persistent custom field for MWO app on the MobileMaterialReqLine entity. It is available and editable in the MWO app but doesn’t sync back to IFS Cloud and throws an error. Hello,I am performing "Calculate MS Level 1" job for a selected single part:However after processing I can see warning messages regarding many more other parts:Is the selective calculation running still for all parts by default and standard? Or is it just validating all of the parts?I am not sure if this is correct and affecting functionality as I would expect this job would validate only a single part that I run the job specifically for.Thank you in advance for help and explanation.Best regards,Kasia

We have a Code Part defined as a project code part - it is been suggested to repurpose it as a ‘normal’ code part. Obviously as it has been set up and active and used (sparingly) it is not letting me change it to ‘No Function.’I know using it as a normal code part will not be good - but would anyone be able to give me a list of limitations / issues we'll face? Thanks,MAtthew

Hi,Anyone knows how to clear send error messages? This customer has been setup as internal customer to send e-invoices but company AS has a default Document Address with zip code and city. The vouchers of these invoices have already been posted to GL but still these errors do not clear.But error says:1) Company Document Address must have a value.2) Company Document Address Zip Code must have a value.3) Company Document Address City must have a value. Appreciate if anyone can advise? Thank you in advance!RegardsNimesh

Hi, I would like get some suggestions how to solve the following problem: In short:I want to convert an IFS generated PL/SQL defined complex type (record,array, etc) to JSON and back. The ’to’ direction is ok, IFS generated code does the job (a sample from Core): Example from Core - convert to JSON But I could not find a good way to do the opposite direction: JSON -> PL/SQL record type  Context: We are upgrading a customer from App9 to Cloud.In  App9 there were some webservices implemented in IFS.Some of their operations were too slow for online response, so the webservice just accepted the parameters in the request, returned a ’result id’ to the caller and started a background job to generate the results.The caller later periodically queried for the results (polling) with the ’result id’ and if the result was ready it was returned.The background job in App9 generated the result in XML format, saved it in a CLOB column in a result table from which it was returned to the caller later

Dear all ,We have an issue relating to PO authorisation.Authorisation rule has not been fetched .  Authorisation limit per project is entered as 0 ,which might have caused the non fetching of  authorisation rule .Unable to edit them. May I kindly know whether   there a way to edit them please .Thank you.Kind regardsUdanee

Hi,I suspect the issue may be related to the view/query I am using. I created a new Lobby Datasource, saved it successfully, and was able to preview output. However, when I try to add it to an element/dashboard, the datasource does not exist.When I go back and check, the datasource is completely gone. The SQL counter also returns to its previous value (it increases when I create it, then drops back after it disappears).I also checked permissions, and the datasource does not appear under Lobby Datasources there either. Additionally, if I try to export the newly created Lobby Datasource after saving it, I receive the attached error.Has anyone seen this behavior before, or is there a known limitation related to the type of view/query being used?

Hi IFS Community!Upon running the Excel-Add In for Data Migrations on IFS Cloud for a specific job in Production, we get "Unexpected end of JSON file" with no further information as to why this is happening.We migrated the same data to a different environment last week (CFG) with NO errors whatsoever, so we know that the data we are migrating is not the issue.We checked permissions for the user running the migration and it all looks fine as well. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Is there a way in IFS to create forecasting periods starting from a desired date (Ex first Monday of a given year ) rather always starting from the 1st of January 

Hi,One of our customer wants to upload a consolidated forecast into IFS so it can be expanded out to show the growth in raw material and component demand and allow the Purchasing Team to see the longer term requirements for several years.This is very top level rather than at customer level by which they normally enter forecasts.Ex: My question is can we upload this forecast into MS Level 1 and derive raw material/component demand for coming periods, with/without generating supplies (PRs, Shop Order Reqs etc?Also, would that be possible to register this forecast and calculate the demand for raw materials separate from the actual forecast register for this year using a different MS level set? I appreciate any feedback you can share.Thank you

Hello, I was trying to remove the users from IFS Cloud who have left the organization and found that deactivating a user revokes its access. I had a doubt regarding, I have the Person created for the User and the Person is linked to Employee which further is linked to Resource Details.  Can anyone guide please if I need to disable everything or if there will be any consequences if I just Disable the user as I just want to get the licenses revoked. Thanks in advance. Regards,Mani

Hi,I'm trying to set skills functionality connected to asset and resource for the maintenance module and work orders. It seems that there is no possibility to define skills on the work task under work order. That tab is entirely missing compared to request work task under service request. The only option here seems to be to use competencies instead. Is that correct assumption or am I missing something and it is possible to set skills on the work order work task as well?
