External Supplier, Direct Shipment to Demand Site

If we set ‘Site to Site supply chain parameters the ‘Transport Lead Time’ it considered for the PO in demand site. we can see separate Arrival date and Delivery date based on the number of days that we set for Transport Lead Time.

But when we set Direct Shipment to Demand Site parameters in ‘Supplier to Site Supply Chain Parameters’ page it is not considering the Transport Lead Time for the PO in demand site.

Is there any additional configuration exists in direction shipments to get separate Arrival date and Delivery date?

Please have a look at the options below. I can’t test them myself, but I think they’re worth giving a try.
A. Direct Shipment to Customer (Supplier to Customer)
   To establish separate dispatch (delivery) and arrival dates on the direct delivery flow:
     - Open the Supplier to Customer Supply Chain Parameters page (or Customer Address Lead Time).
     - Define the record for the combination of Supplier, Supplier Address, Customer, and Customer Address (or default Ship Via).
     - Set the Transport Lead Time (and Vendor Delivery Lead Time).

B. Inter-Site Direct Shipment (Site to Customer / Site to Site Direct)
   If the direct shipment flow involves inter-site orders:
      Open the Site to Customer Supply Chain Parameters page for the supply site delivering to the destination customer address.
Configure the Ship Via, Delivery Lead Time, and Transport Lead Time.

C. Alternative Configurations: To establish distinct tracking dates for direct deliveries, you can enable the "Use Site Date for Actual Delivery Date on Direct Deliveries" toggle at the site level via Site / Sales and Procurement / Procurement / General.

    I think it comes down to a conceptual difference between the two flows rather than a missing config setting.

    When a PO goes through a normal site-to-site style delivery, there are genuinely two separate events: the point where the supplier's responsibility ends (the "delivery point"), and the point where the goods physically show up at your dock (the "arrival point"). Transport Lead Time is the gap between those two, which is exactly why you see Planned Arrival Date and Planned Delivery Date as two distinct dates — the system needs both to model that leg.

    With Direct Shipment to Demand Site, the supplier is shipping straight to the demand site's dock. There's no intermediate delivery point in that flow — it's a single handoff. So my read is that the system isn't ignoring your Transport Lead Time value so much as it isn't modeling a second leg to apply it to. Arrival and Delivery end up being treated as the same event because, physically, they are.

        I was able to identify the root cause of the issue. An exception had been defined for the part through the Supply Chain Group, which prevented the default transport lead time parameter from being applied.

        After the lead time was defined for the exception record, the system started working as expected.

        Therefore, the issue was caused by the missing lead time configuration in the Supply Chain Group exception setup.
