Is there any way in which you can trace which purchase order lines have been raised against specific material requisitions? I can trace a purchase order line back to the purchase requisition but there doesn’t seem to be a link back to the demand source of that purchase requisition.

Hi, I’m trying to set up use of Employee Cards to register employee attendance clockings in IFS 10 IEE via Time Clock. As an example, I’ve set up the employee/person with the Card No. below, and set up the card parameters to match (I think): The time clock detail for the button is set to Card Driven Execution, but when I attempt to scan a barcode (with characters 0000001590) using a barcode reader after clicking “In”, nothing changes and the terminal still reads “Clock In: Swipe the Card.” However, if I use a standalone time clock client, I get an error saying “Employee not a time clock user.” Scanning the barcode into a text document or other fields in IFS gives the expected result (0000001590). Unfortunately, the debug menu shows nothing when I click the button or attempt to scan the barcode. Has anyone else encountered this behavior or a workaround for it?

Hello, In connection with IFS Cloud, except Oracle SQL, what other programming languages are you using with this ERP system? I read on documentation that some parts of BPA consists of source code written in Javascript and Java. IN BPA, it is classic javascript or the syntax is more like, for example angular, react or vue? How good should I know those languages if I want to be better in writting, for example these BPA? Thanks

I'm facing a challenge while trying to append an MD5 hash value to payment order files after performing an initial format transformation (for SEPADD format) in IFS Cloud 23.2 My current setup has two routing addresses connected to a single routing rule: Core Transformer(XSL Transformer) Connected Routing Address: Handles the SEPADD file transformation. MD5 Transformer(Java Transformer) Connected Routing Address: Appends the MD5 hash to the file content. The problem is that the MD5 transformer only receives the receipt response/Message response from the core transformer, rather than the fully transformed file content. According to the documentation, some address types only pass the receipt instead of the transformed output. Does anyone have experience handling this kind of transformation sequence? Is there an alternative routing strategy or configuration that ensures the MD5 transformer receives the fully transformed file content?

Hi, Trying to get my head around inbound integration from a 3rd Party. I have an sample inbound message (Screen shot below) the 3rd Party can send us. I’d like to receive the data and then map it to a single custom table taking the relevant data points that have been passed. Is that possible to do? Or would I have to create a custom table for each object i.e. carData, deviceData and then into the functions? Ideally I have data_table and column_a, column_b etc and use the mapping to obtain the data I need. Any help if anyone has done something similar would be appreciated. Cheers Ady

I have configured the routing rule and the address as required, but I encounter an error during file reading related to routing rule identification. I suspect that the issue may require adding a location-based condition. However, since the file name varies due to a timestamp, I am unsure how to define this condition effectively. We have an approval routing tied to the Service Contract. From the Approvals tab, select Object Details and receiver error that “Object Details for Multiple LUs is not allowed.” I see only one LU, ScServiceContract. Do you think it is a bug? Thanks Patrick

Hello, I’m getting the following error when I try to approve a project that is copied from another project that has an activity start date of 2/24/25. Strangely enough, I don’t get this error is I use a project start date of 2/3/25. The financial project exists after I approve and the Finance tab of the project has values.. Please help if you can.

Just took delivery of 24R1SU4 in one of our lower environments. During testing and updating configurations, I found that this page is unable to load or be opened in Page Designer: ResourcesDetailHandling Path: Application Base Setup → Enterprise → Resource → Resource Details Resource Crew is also affected. Attempting to view the API documentation in the API Doc View also results in error. The page/API function normally in our other environments (23R2SU10). Have any of you seen this before? Hi all, I’m working on the implementation of IFS GIS Map and during the presentation of the functionalities the Client raised some questions: Is the IFS GIS Map integrated only with ESRI's ArcGIS, or can another GIS service be used? According to the documentation and API, I believe it only supports ArcGIS. The Client is requesting a clear answer. The layers and maps created in ArcGIS are published on the server and accessed by the IFS GIS Map web application through REST APIs and URLs. How does data synchronization occur if there are updates to the map or layers? The Client's main concern is whether there is an impact if the ArcGIS server goes offline. Is this dependency present? For this initial work, I created an ArcGIS Online Trial - Creator user. After this period, a new trial account must be created, and there are restrictions regarding the email and organization used. Hi We are trying to install and use IFS Report Designer on a server on our network to connect to our hosted IFS environment. We have a VPN tunnel between our data centre and our hosted environment. Note we are on on IFS APPS10 Hosted but not IFS Cloud. I have been able to install the client but when trying to connect I get the error below: “You don’t have enough privileges to invoke this method” I’ve raised with IFS Support who have advised me to ask the Community. Has anyone seen this error before or can advise as it’s not clear what privileges? - For our hosted environment do we need particular access to the server (e.g. IFS Citrix) to run this? - We have VPN connection to the server but not sure if this is enough to access what we need? - Are there any other things we need to look at (certificates/IFS permissions etc.)? I’ve tried logging in as both IFSAPP and IFSADMIN. Any thoughts welcomed.

Hello dearest community, I have a question regarding the Work Task Filters i.r.w. IFSAPPS10 vs Aurena. To give a bit of context, a couple of years back we started using IFS as ERP. Currently we are moving maintenance to IFS as well. However, it has been announced we will be moving to Aurena in about a year or so. Furthermore another site abroad already implemented maintenance in IFSAPPS10. To prevent confusion on implementing Aurena we decided to directly start using Aurena for maintenance purposes. But Aurena is a bit funny at certain times. One of the differences we have found is the missing of “My Work” in Aurena. Fortunately we have found the “Technician Portals > Maintenance Engineer” which acts and seems to work the same. However, the application of Work Task Filters does not seem to work in Aurena. We had an issue where the Print Agent died and when we rebooted, everything began working normally, and new print jobs flowed fine, but there are still over a dozen jobs in “Print Manager” stuck in “Working” status. Any ideas? Thanks!

My client wanna distribute the cost incurred by marketing team according to proportion of revenue account based on the product group, I have no issue to configure the steps in PCA for this. However I have problem to setting the steps for cost incurred by cost centre Finance (ie salary, travelling expenditure) which they wanna distribute it equally to 5 product groups in the same GL account. How can it be done through PCA?

We have a few nodes we no longer want to use - but if we try to delete we get a message saying: I can not find an option for flagging a node as obsolete. Is there a sure-fire way to make sure a node can not be used?

We are getting below warning message all of a sudden when registering absence. “Authorized absence request will generate balance AHOL. You might exceed the allowed values for this balance, resulting in shortenning or removing of the absence.” Does anyone know what that means and how to stop prompting this? Thank you!
