Hello, if the purchase order is milestoned stage payment and invoice is also done but why we cannot see invoiced quantity and invoiced price in Purchase order lines screen

We have started testing MSO and many questions are coming up. One of the questions is whether MSO supports the scheduling of parallel operations. From the initial results, it seems that it does not. Is there a parameter that needs to be set somewhere to enable this? The testing was done in the 25R1 environment. 

We are on IFS Cloud 25.1.2.  Microsoft just forced updated Office to 2507 (19029.20136) which broke our IFS Excel add-ins.  Users that stayed on 2506 are still OK.Issue is, when you click login, the add-in panel briefly flashes and does not bring up the login window for IFS cloud.Anyone else have this issue? 

To plan and schedule work tasks from a work order on Dispatch Console, I’m trying to get the scheduling dataset up and running. However, I’ve been unable to connect the Maintenance Organization Site to the Scheduling Dataset.Individually, I can see the options in the dropdown for both, but when I select a value for either the Maintenance Organization Site or the Scheduling Dataset, the other option disappears.Could I be missing a data setup that enables the connection between the Maintenance Organization Site and the Scheduling Dataset?   Thank you

We go live in a week or so.  Is there a way in service to define the starting ID for Service Requests and Request Work Tasks.  Right now the sequencing starts at one.  With the way oracle sorts IDs, this will become a problem when there are million plus IDs… i.e. the sort sequence will look like this: 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10000 then 2, 20, 200, 2000 20000 etc.  If there were a way to define the start value, we would like to know about.  I suspect it is not possible.

Hello all, When a Shop Floor Employee logs in, the user is automatically identified and logged in as that employee. Is there an option to log in as the employee’s default team instead of the individual employee in the Shop Floor Workbench?  Kind regards, Willem 

Hi, in earlier releases I was able to send an XML message to ‘int/soapgateway’. Via routing rules I could route this XML message to a PL/SQL function. Now I tried it again in 25R1 release and I always receive an errorCannot Create JSON Object: A JSONObject text must begin with '{' at 1 [character 2 line 1] Can it be that XML messages are no longer supported by soapgateway?

Hi All - please can someone help me with my self service\my personal information in Cloud 23R2.I have a dummy user/person/employee called director.This user has valid personal data (private contact information in this example - but there is also work contact info, related persons and documents) They also have a valid assignment with an access role assignedaccess role is configured as belowaccess roleThe company property fields include a valid YES record for the “SELFACCESS - Allow Access to Myself” property When logged on as this user, it is possible to create an absence request, my employment information screen, and my calendar works ok too. BUT - it is not possible to view the data in my personal information screen (nor the my personal information change screen)Please can someone help me to identify what is going wrong here?Edit - if I grant the director user HR Application Manager Access, the my personal information screen populates as expected.Many thanks in advanceDave 

CLOUD 24R1Scenario: Prerrequisites: Handling unit type with packaging material part associated and ‘Reusable’ option enabled.Go to the Inventory part in stock and select a part that has not handling unit connected. Select the option to Pack according to Handling unit Capacity and enter the quantity to pack for an specific Handling unit type.  The part is packed with an specific handling unit ID. The packaging material of the handling unit type is consumed automatically and issue from the stock If I go again to the Inventory part in stock and select the part that I have just packed and select ‘Unattach from handling unit’ for unpack, the system will not receive again the packaging part into stock to be able to be used again for another packing. The quantity on hand of the packaging material should not be increased?Thank you in advance.

In IFS Cloud 25R2, we are working with Service Requests and Request Work Tasks and have encountered an issue related to the Coordinator field.Currently, the system appears to require a Default Coordinator defined at the user level. If this is not set, we receive an error when generating the Invoice Preview.Our questions are: Where is the Coordinator officially defined and maintained for Service Requests / Request Work Tasks What is the recommended approach if we need to process a Service Request using a different Coordinator than the user’s default if we cannot specify a different other than the default? Any guidance or clarification on standard behavior vs recommended setup would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

 Hi Community,We are trying to enforce the use of Purchase Order Change Order at the Supplier/Site level.To achieve this, we have configured the Purchase Order Authorization Rule so that No Changes Are Allowed After Authorization.However, after a Purchase Order is authorized, its status moves to Released, and the system still allows us to Cancel the Purchase Order without any blocking message or re‑authorization requirement.Logically, with this configuration, the system should either prevent the cancellation or require re‑authorization.According to IFS.AI, cancellation should not be allowed with this setup, but in practice this restriction is not working. Has anyone faced this issue or knows if additional setup is required to enforce cancellation prevention or trigger re‑authorization?Thanks in advance!

Hi,I am trying to create an Object Connection Transformation(OCT) between Standard Task and Service Catalog. However, both objects do not seem to have any common key values, so I am unable to map them directly.Is there any way to create this Object Connection without customization or without adding new columns/extensions?If anyone has implemented a similar connection between these two objects, could you please suggest the recommended approach?Thanks in advance.

Hello,Today, our production team asked us to restore a tab on the Shop Order page that existed in IFS V8 but is no longer available in IFS Cloud 24R1.This tab was called “Operation Tools.”In IFS Cloud 24R1, we can still see the tools used by an operation by clicking the arrow (“v”) in the operation list on the Shop Order page.We are hosted on-premise, but we do not have a development license; we can only use IFS Cloud personalization.After spending a few hours investigating, I believe it is not possible to recreate the “Operation Tools” tab exactly as it existed in IFS V8 due to the data structure:1 shop order → N operations → N tools (one operation may have multiple tools).I have already created custom projections based on standard projections with custom entity associations (for example, to display comments in Inventory Part Availability Planning, which was a specific dev on IFS8 which i remade only using personalization tools), but the data relationships in that case were different.

There is no field to set Doc_Class. I also looked into Document Default Values / Object Properties / System Params looking for a  way to define a default doc_class for the scan delivery note functionality.​@Mathias Dahl do you have hints on this? HiWe’ve just upgraded from 23R2 to 25R1 and I wanted to double-check which version of IFS Studio 18 I should start using.  The Studio download pages all seem to want to download a 25R2 version.Can I still get IFS Developer Studio 18 (v25.1.0691) which appears to be the last 25R1 version or is it ok to update to the 25R2 version even though we don’t need to account for the new EBR requirements?My current version is 24.1.0093.  If I select ‘check for updates’ what version will it update to or should I be downloading and re-installing?Any guidance much appreciated!mmck

I am facing errors while testing connections in SSIS during the Power BI infrastructure setup in Azure for self-hosted BI. It shows empty once the test connection is completed. 

IFS Cloud 25R1Description: While attempting to add or enable CUSTOM fields on the Receive Shop Order Manually view in IFS Cloud, we encountered a limitation related to the view type. The issue occurs because this view is implemented as a Dialog. As far as we understand, Dialog and Assistant type views currently do not support adding CUSTOM functions. In IFS Applications 10, it was possible to add CUSTOM fields for this process because the functionality was available in a separate, standard window rather than a popup (Dialog or Assistant). Due to this change in the UI architecture in IFS Cloud, it appears that similar CUSTOMizations cannot be implemented in the same way as before. Question: Is there any recommended workaround or alternative approach to implement CUSTOM fields or logic for Dialog or Assistant views in IFS Cloud?
