Hi All, Is it possible to grant/revoke permission by page in Aurena?When we grant a projection to a permission set, lots of pages connected to the projection is available in the navigator. Example scenario:I just want to enable Quick AbsenceIn Aurena go toSolution Manager > Security > Permission Sets > Permission Set > Projections and Lobby Pages → Manage By Navigatorchoose Quick Absence from navigator, Edit projection access for selected pages. In the Manage Projection Grants page, only the projection can be granted. I need to remove the other pages granted along with this but seems it’s not possible. Is there another way to handle this than hiding from navigator?  Cheers!Damith

A document revision is prepared. Once done, the actual document is connected to the IFS administrative part of the document. The document has been checked in. Status is preliminary. Up until now standard behavior. Document that is checked in, can be viewed. The document is stored in a FTP location using standard IFS settings (IFS9).Now that everyonne has seen the document, we want to set the status from Preliminary to Approved. RMB is used to set the status and then the following error message appears:I've used coding to determine the origin and it reveals that in DOC_ISSUE_API for an FTP stored file a check is done on the size of the file via Plsqlap_Server_API. Further into the details the actual error is a certificate problem.The FTP server has no certificates installed.See also:  My question: in the setup of haveing an IFS application server and a FTP server are there anymore servers in between? Why does the system come back with a missing/non valid certificate while there has not

Dears,We have a client on IFS10 UPD7. Can we only upgrade Foundation to UPD16 for the client so he gets latest foundation and middleware application.This will save me from doing complete application upgradePlease suggest Best RegardsPankaj

When a document is ready to be approved, one opens the document revision in IEE and uses RMB to Status > Approve the following message appears:Login of and on as a different user. Same error pops up.Created another document revision. Attached no document, just processed with Status > Approve. No problems.Problem occurs with other document revisions. For the doc revision shown, a pdf document is connected. I viewed the pdf, used save as. Created a new document revision (from scratch). Checked the pdf just saved in. Status is now Preliminary, File Status: Checked In.Same error message appears. Debug reveals the following:Looking into DOC_ISSUE_API, I learn that the file size is retrieved using:Plsqlap_Record_API.Get_Value(activity_rec_, 'FILE_SIZE'); in which activity_rec_ document class, document and other parameters are passed.This is going into a lot of details.Anybody seen something like this? I will keep digging.

Is the tolerance work different is non-posting proposal company to posting proposal company?Company type: Non posting proposalSupplier: Enabled with Tolerance  Purchase order value : Gross 120 Net 100Invoice Value: Gross 121.00 Net 100.83Tolerance posting is not created and supplier invoice shows a balance of -.83 in posting information.Is there any other configuration needs to be done?

Why I cannot see any field in my search window?The active view and the attribute I have selected are both related to Custom Logical Unit. But I have other attributes similar that work well on this custom view, and i don’t see what is special for them in the settings…  For reference, the attribute just above works well with the search window.

The header on the PLACE screen in FSM 6u19 allows changing to a different label expression, but when the label result is longer than about half the screen, it is truncated.Our configured screen has only one visible button in the header (Save), so there is still lots of room left over to the right side.Example of how it displays on screenAs a guess, I have tried inserting a <label_percent> tag in the screen XML <header_def>, by analogy to the <column_def>, but then FSM automatically removes that tag upon saving. Directly entering a width for the whole panel doesn’t affect the fraction of space given to the label versus the buttons. Is there a way to increase the horizontal percentage of this label?

Hello I have an object / asset , 2021-33 that was activated in October 2021.  In November 2021, a manual entry was entered to adjust the value of the asset.   After this, it stopped depreciating. When we run a depreciation proposal, we get this message in the log:  I would appreciate any help on how to correct this and get the object to depreciate again. Thank you.

Hi,Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I’m new!I am trying to create a Knowledge article in Knowledge Procedure and I want to link to places further in a text like a dynamic table of contents. It looks like I can do that because I can change the ‘Link Type’ to be ‘Link to an anchor in the text’. Nice, except, I can’t work out how to make something be an anchor in the text to link to. There’s nothing listed and I can’t find an option which is ‘I’m an anchor now’.I’m not sure what version of assyst we’re running though I could probably find out if necessary. Below is a screenshot of the markdown editor available to me.Anyone have any ideas?

Hello, We manage our Problems using a specific template process. This process start with a decision to validate whether or not the problem exists. If the problem exists, then a new task of the “Investigate issue” category is created. After its resolution then a new decision task is created to define if the problem will be accepted as is or if an RFC should be logged to remmediate the issue. I’d like to know if it’s possible to use task expressions to define the assigned service department for following decisions ans tasks based on the service department who lastly resolved the issue investigation task. As far as I’m concerned, EventDTO has only methods related to lastAction and lastActioningServDept. However, I need details about the resolution of the first task of a specific category. I wonder if there’s a way to use only task expressions or if I should use something like Action Processor to update problem’s additional fields and them reference those custom fields in the following Ser

Hello! We’re using assyst in our Problem Management process and the process owner asked us to make assyst notify him whenever new problems are logged, besides the affected user, which typically is someone else in the IT staff.Initially I had the idea of customizing the Lua script which is invoked for all assign actions and add that custom logic there. However, that felt very hacky-ish and not easily maintainable.After that, I tried to customize the Problem form and add one aditional user by default (the aforementioned process owner), but this does not seem to be possible with customizer. Any recommendations besides modifying the Lua script?

Hi,Today we can choose two theme colors in Cloud as standard ( dark or light).Is there a possibility of making a change so that we can get the color green? A customer today uses green in a previous application and says it is more pleasing to the eyes, especially when you have poor eyesight. BrLinda

Hi Team,One of the customers needs to delete multiple invoice lines created via “External Supplier Invoices” window. However when trying to delete the lines they are encountering with the below error. The same behavior can be observed in core environments as well. I would like know if this is can be considered as the standard behavior of the system and if yes any particular reason behind as in why they are not allowed delete. Otherwise, can this be considered as a bug in the system?The status of the Invoice lines that the customer tries to delete is “PrelPosted”. Thank you and Kind regards,Shanuka.

My users in a specific permission set keep receiving an permission error when they expand/click on the attachment panel at the bottom of the page (specifically in the Customer Order page): I’ve already given them permissions to the following projections listed below. Is there anything else that I may have missed that manages the permissions to view or use the Attachment panel? DocumentHome (For the document tab within the attachment panel)ApprovalRoutingAttachmentHandling (For the Approval docs tab within the attachment panel)

Does anyone know what the following error message mean? (IFS 9) This message came up recently when moving a serial to inventory on a work order. It has been received before by other users but I don’t have the examples. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
