Hello,I hope someone can help me 😊.This is the scenario :When a CO is for the customer XXX, I would like to create a “Purchase Order Direct” , and when it’s a YYY or ZZZ customer i would like to create an “Invent Order” . ( It’s the same sales part )Can we drive the Sourcing rules automatically du to the customer ?These are the setting I made :Create a sourcing rule : With highest rank as Sourcing Objective.Create a sourcing rules per Customer and Sales Part   And this is the error when I create a line on CO : There is also the set up “Sales Part” Sourcing Option, but i’m not interested because it will always give the same choice for every customer. Did someone  know how to setting this properly ?Regards,Nicolas.

Morning All,  I am following the documentation to Configure IFS Database Identity Provider:Configuring the IFS Database Identity Provider Our Apps 10 environment is running on a local server,  is it possible to have Logo URL and the Background Image URL local files stored on the server and not web addresses?  I have attempted to have the URL as \\T:\IMAGES\BACKGROUND.jpg but this does not seem to work, the images are stored on the middleware server and the path is correct. 

To extract data from IFS, Is the use of ETL like Boomi prevent the use of other mode of Extraction( flat files extraction ) ? that is to say, if i use Boomi to extract data from IFS i cannot do so using flat file in the same time ?

Does anyone know how to clear old customer and supplier schedules from the table?  We have added values in the Customer and Supplier Schedule Agreement Part record for ´Old Plans to keep´. In my test example I set the value to 50 but after running the MRP we have 273 record in the overview. I guess there need to be some kind of cleanup task that will clear old customer and supplier schedules but I cannot find any matching database task. Any ideas?  Thank you.Josefin  

 Hi,A Part is having 5 characteristics A,B,C,D,EConfiguration combinations tables are using all characteristics and returning values.But from sales rules, it has been defined to detach a characteristic B when selecting an Option value from A,But There is a Value defined in Configuration combination using characteristic B.Due to detach of characteristic B, There is an error in Interim order header, component defined in Configuration combination table is not returning to the structure….Any known fix for the issue?more example…….As from above example shown in picture 20-AO_QTY is the characteristic that detach when selecting DP from 20-COMP-CONT Characteristic. 1 is the default value for 20-AO QTY.if there is a value in 20-AO QTY, it is not passed the connected component Default value is return, not the connected value.when we empty the value in 20-AO_QTY, then correct value will be returned.

Where would I find schema changes for 11.5? It would appear that tables have been deleted in the wiki.

Hi, Does someone knows how to create and the connect a Customer Invoice to an advance invoice already created?Here is the step by steps I followed:Have a Customer order in planned status connected to a Projet I RMB and created an advance invoice related to this Customer Order  The advance invoice is created, I print it and paid it: it’s in status Paid/printed I followed the Quick Handle flow for the Customer Order and change it to Deliver status Know I want to have the Final Customer Invoice created to be able to link it to the previous Advance Invoice created. I’m stop at this step because:I do not have the option to create a Manual Customer Invoice,The instant invoice is not relevant for this matter I cannot create the Invoice in the screen “create customer invoice” , my Customer Order doen’t appears.I only have the Advance Invoice for this Customer Order.Does someone has already test that and suceed ?Thanks for your helpCamille

Failed transaction handling is big trouble in practical scenarios. Work order transferred to mobile is accepted by the mobile user but later it is taken back or put up in the prepared status in IFS for reassignment or replaning. IN SUCH SCENARIOS, Group messages will fail and handling of these messages becoming big hurdle. How these can be properally handled. Specially, I  such scenarios where WO no is showing g different WO no like - 50004 etc. 

When a user creates a material requisition for a  particular site, is a transport task automatically created for this material requisition? 

Hi,I am trying new custom API through IFS Developer Studio for IFS Cloud project. Once it is deployed properly, able to see it in API explorer and able to call it in web browser and got proper response, where as if I browse the same API throguh Postman, got 401 Unauthorized error. Request Header what I am passing is, Basic authenticaion with content type. Could anyone had faced same issue and what is the workaround for this? ThanksVenkat

When the Dispose of an object is done using sale of an object which is an income to the Company , we had already raised a Customer order and Customer invoice for thisIs it possible to invoice the sales of an object using Customer invoice without instant invoice process?What is the process here ?Should i first proceed with Customer invoice and once it is transferred, then create manual voucher and post it to asset?Thanks,KMH

Hi,This is related to handling Unstructured payment (One payment for several supplier invoices of the same Supplier ). It'’s required to add credit notes to the same payment proposal. And in order to handle credit notes it's required to tick the check box " Allow Credit grouping for Non Sepa Payments". But system doesn't allow to have both options ( Unstructured payment and Allow Credit grouping for Non-Sepa Payments ) at once. Please advice on a method of handling credit notes with unstructured payments.  

How can I add permissions for a user to can connects to see data in views by ‘SQL Developer’ tool (directly from the database Oracle) ?Currently, the user can see tables, but views can't - by SQL Developer. if I add IFSAPP perspective , then he connects but can’t see the data from view.-off course this view have the data :  here is an example that user has connect to the table: The issuse related with IFS 10.

Hi,I have a JSON Connection which is 99% there.The extract column ‘channels’ needs to be passed as an array, extract from the API Guide.What do I need to set and where on the XML Mapping so the ‘channels’ extract column is passed as [“SMS”]. Currently it missing the square brackets outside the quotation marks. I cannot add the square brackets to the value as it passes them inside the brackets when triggered. Any suggestions? Regards Ady

Hi everybody, We using IFS APPS 10 and we need a user to be able to access data through our ODBC excel’s, but not be able to do anything in IFS APP, so basically it would be a readonly access to the database. Is there a user already predefined for this, or is there a possibility to create a user which only has access to database objects, but not to presentation objects? Or is there any other way of going about this? Thanks in advance for you help!Carlos Mendes

Good afternoon,we have a case where a mobile survey is showing on the engineers device within the e-forms. This survey is not a published survey and is not showing within IFS as a historical/closed survey.  Therefore there is no way of deleting the survey from the eForms library.  Can anyone suggest a way in which this survey can be deleted from the device. Many thanks for your assistance. 

Just a quick question regarding the Apps9 to Apps10 upgrade routines. Do permission sets get migrated from Apps 9 to Apps 10 OR do you just get the standard set of permissions that come with Apps10? Thanking you in advance.

I’m working in IFS Applications 10 Update 12.  In IEE, I create a quick report according to the documentation using a list of values and Query Flags: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r1/foundation1/045_administration_aurena/255_br_and_a/005_adhoc_reporting/010_quickreports/default.htmSELECT * from customer_info where customer_category_db LIKE '&[-CS--]CUSTOMER_INFO.CUSTOMER_CATEGORY_DB'Viewing the report produces the expected parameter “Customer Category” with the expected list of values.  If I run the report with the value “Customer”, many records are returned. I switch over to Aurena and go to  Reporting/Order Report/ and order my report.  The parameter shows as the view name and does not have the list of values.  Even if I manually type in the value “Customer”, the report returns nothing. Am I missing a step or two in Aurena to get the list of values to work as described in the tech doc?I’ve used these query flags and lov sources often in IEE and have not had any issues.  This is

This may be standard functionality and something we just need to be aware of, but if we have manually updated a price on a purchase order line and then the line is updated for quantity via purchase order change order, this is also reverting the price for the part back to the price on the supplier for purchase part.  The result of this is that it goes unnoticed by the person transacting the change order and later causes an invoicing query when the prcie no longer matches the manually updated price given by the supplier.  Is there any way to prevent the change order from reverting to SFPP prices when a change to quantity is made?
