We are using V14.5 but same situation is also in V15.4

We use Expenses to cover the costs for ad-hoc expenses and on the Field Quotation we set them to Fixed Price, so we can add the price to be whatever is needs to be.

However, we are finding that when these expenses are fulfilled on Mobile Edge (15.3.2.01 and also in 15.4.5.01), the Billing Type changes from Fixed Price, back to Policy and therefore the quoted price is also removed.

If fulfilled in Back Office, the billing type does not change, only if done via Mobile.

Is there a setting somewhere to control this or is this a problem perhaps?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

This looks to be a bug.  There are no settings to impact this area in the MOE, workflow (mobile), etc.

I think you should log a ticket.

Hi Chris,

Small question, was the field quotation itself a fixed price or were you only setting this on the expense line billable type?

Hi Phil,

OK, thank you, I will log a ticket.

Just the Expense was set as Fixed Price, not the whole FQ.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,
Can you go to the Employees Security module in Alliance, retrieve your mobile technicians record and then turn on the “Audit APIs for this User” toggle?  Then log out of mobile, log back in again and run another test.  Once you’ve replicated the issue can you go to the Inbound Data Audit (Integration) module and grab the API from there and sent it to me for review?  (Just want to determine whether mobile is adjusting the value directly or whether it’s happening on the Alliance side during the processing of the mobile API).
Thanks,
Reid

Hi Chris,

I reproduced the issue on our QA environment (Reid watched as well) so please log the ticket.

The Expense line billing type changed from Fixed to Policy when I fufilled it from the mobile client.

OK, thanks, will do.
