In Astea v15.3 order Locator we only see the date and not the time.Can we change the format so we see date and time as we had in v10 ? 

Hi All.Could someone help how could I set up an object transformation from TaskTemplateWorkStep to PmActionWorkStep?My need is to transform an image from worktaskstep template to the pm actions and finally to a workorder.  I would like to navigate the Project window from the lobby element. I can write a quick report to show results but, I would like to show the results on the page.I prepared the query as below. When I navigate with customer_id, it shows the results. Because, there is customer_id column on the screen.  However, I would like to show the lobby element with customer names. So, I can’t navigate with the customer name.  Is there a way to navigate with customer_id while clicking customer names?  Thank you.

Hi all, I am using IFS Release 6, Ver 18.I have a custom Lookup screen. I have added a user_def field as checkbox type in one of the listed columns.  My question is how do I save inputs to this checkbox field from the lookup screen? Inputs meaning, when I check the box.When I click save, I get “no changes to save” message. 

Hi Community We require the ability to pay CAD Supplier Invoices out of our EUR bank account.Our site has GBP setup as the Accounting Currency.When we Create a Payment Order and attempt to change the currency to CAD the below error message is generated and we cannot update the currency in the payment order first pop up box.Currently we can pay CAD Supplier invoices out of our GBP bank account but can’t seem to do this out of EUR bank account.  Is this an IFS restriction by way of core processing - meaning that it isn’t possible for us to do what we require?  I have read another post in the community that deals with a similar situation but that scenario was related to Cash Transfers from one account to another utilizing Mixed Payments. Can someone confirm if what we are attempting to do is doable or not? Any information would be much appreciated! Thanks A

Hi Experts,There is a requirement from customer that they need to rollback the entire transaction if any issue occurs during the transaction. Example - Inbound integrationCreate task/place/requestIssue occurred during place creation. Roll back task, request also with the place entity rollback process They need to rollback whole parent/child creation/update if any issue is occurred during the inbound integration phase.Any idea about this? Thanks and regards,Hasara 

Hi Experts, There is a requirement to automate the process to upload the data from external DB(SAP) into IFS FSM DB. I know that we can use folder listener to achieve this requirement.Is there a better way to achieve this than folder listener option? Thanks,Hasara

New to doing DocMan in a Cloud environment.What would a user be unable to perform with the Aurena Agent not installed, i.e. can most functionality (create, edit, check-in, view) be done without it?Asking as I am expecting a customer to not have the address info required for running the MSI installation, and unable to configure any User Settings. 

We have a users trying to schedule a report in IFS 9. The user cannot see the specific report when searching for it under “Report to Schedule”. I believe that it is a permission issue for that user. Where in a permission set would I got to give permission to a report?  

Hi,We are in a process of setting up DOP and we believe basic data setup is fine as we set the default supply type of the manufactured part as DOP (In Planning Data tab of Inventory Part window). Idea is to manufacture Top Part MYO-00120-A using couple of manufactured parts including some raw materials (purchase parts).However, when we released the DOP, it does not create shop orders or purchase orders automatically.  Why shop order details are not shown in RMB option or shop orders do not get created? Also Purchase Orders are not generated too. But it shows inventory reservation for Top Part MYO-00120-A.Can you please advise whether we have missed any setting? Thank you!

I would like to have an Inventory Part overview window with columns like:Site Part Code Part Description Planning Method Safety Stock Lotsize etc.Does IFS Cloud have such an overview or do I need to create a Quick Report or likewise to view this information?I know there is MRP Part Information, but that is a 1 record window and not an overview

Hello experts,Is it possible to set up customer and supplier number (customer/supplier ID) series from the client end?For an example, when we create a new customer, if we only give a customer name (without any value to customer ID) upon saving system assigns a value to customer field. One of our client has initially set up customer number series starting from 5000 and now they want to change it to something else. Can we set up this simply like we do customer order/purchase order number series via coordinator groups?Cheers!David

Are there any limits on the number of support portal user accounts, a customer can request?Please note this is customer portal account to raise product Support cases for IFS Cloud Product customers.

We are working through our process for corrections and came across that the system is set up to send the negative lines of the credit to a new customer order instead of the original that needs to be corrected. Is there any where to change this creation of new lines and instead have it flow to the order we are correcting? 

In the Astea Client we can see the client name in the client header:We have many users (back office and customer service) that will have several (currently 2, more to come) instances of Astea open at the same time. Is there a way to differenciate this in the Employee Web Portal? We are currently ion 15.2, but will move to 15.4 in the near future. Ideally I would like to add the Profile name and/or a logo. And have the banner colour be different per profile  

Good Morning, We currently use Control Plans for any non-serialised items (Categorical) set as a basic pass or fail within the category ID which works fine.  We would like to expand this out to our serialised products using the same pass/fail controls but during our testing the analysis is requesting us to add in the serial number, but the list of values is empty.  Any attempts to enter any information in the Serial No field is met with errors which we expected as the system can’t see anything to cross-reference against in the list of values.Would anyone know what steps we are missing please ? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thankyou in advance

What is the method to ship misc parts to suppliers? If an engineer wants to ship some samples of items to a supplier, without expectation of receiving them back into stock, how can we do that? Is there a way that a buyer can create a supplier shipment? Is there a backhand way of having a buyer create a customer order without actually going into the customer order module and creating one from scratch?

We’ve been trying to figure “why” we’re unable to create a repair shop order from CRO Lines.Rev 09 is “obsolete” and no one here knows or has see the (*) Structure Type “F” error or where to look for it. Can someone help? 

The last section of the New Employment wizard has a section for Other which allows the connection of the Resource Group, Project, Maintenance Resource/Team, and Shop Floor Employee details. For an existing employee though, how do you add the employee into the Mainteance area without going through this wizard?This was done in V9 using Employees tab under Organization Basic, but that doesn’t seem to exist the same way in Cloud Can someone point me in the right direction please?

I am pretty new to IFS, still getting a full understanding of all the connections within it.  My question is, our company is going from SL HY dep to SL BP depreciation.  So, obviously, when creating a new object/fixed asset, it defaults to SL HY depreciation method. Where is the proper place for me to update this default method to SL BP when a new object is being created, is it under the object group > Dep Method and Books?  Or is there a spot under Basic Data Fixed Assets where I can just check a box (which my coworker thinks but we couldn't locate it)? If I change the dep method to SL BP under the object group does this affect all of the previous SL HY depreciation objects once I switch the method?  Or does this just change the def dep method moving forward on any new objects being created?  As I said I am pretty green with IFS, last thing I want to do is make a change and blow the whole system up lol.  Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
