Hello Techs,We have a requirement where ITOM agent password should be in encrypted format and should not be visible by any means.Encryption of the password is to be enabled across the entire installation process. Reason being, the server does not have the password in the encrypted format currently which indeed a vulnerability by all the means and has been picked up by the Cyber Security folks.We need the password to be in encrypted format in order for us to make sure it does not show up anywhere while the entire process takes place.

Maybe I'm just to early, but is there any option to prepare a standard field to accept formatted text, so just as when using this community having the following ribbon on top:Aurena is build in/with HTML5 so some must be available.If not on standard fields, which I can understand as the database field might not be able to handle it (especially not if an image is included), a custom attribute maybe?I tried to add one, but not of the field/data types is coming close. Maybe a string with multiline entry option. Not even that as it only allows max 4000 characters (in IFS21R2).So no solution there.What would be a solution if customer wants to have some content belonging to for example a part connected and maintainable in Aurena?

I wrote an SQL query using the SQL Query Tool in IFS App 9. But when I try to save the query as a Quick Report it states: SQL expression is wrong (SQL-Ausdruck ist falsch).The query runs fine in the IFS Query Tool and unfortunately the error message does not specify why the SQL expression is wrong. Does somebody know what is wrong with my query?

Hi All,Can some explain why my error measurements MAE, MAPE, MSE are not matching with demand planning client. I have taken the same demand & forecast into excel to do calculation. Also, could please let me know the formula to calculate PVE??My calculations are exactly matching with the demand Planning client in error graph   

When I go to General tab in shipment window, I observed that the Net weight and Gross weight are different in an abnormal way.  Any solutions why the Net Weight and Gross Weights are different. Note: Usually Net weight and Gross weight should be same or Gross weight should be greater than Net Weight. 

I have a user that is requesting that the default planner ID from ENG Part be set to one user for manufactured parts and a different user for purchased parts.  The only place I know to set this is on the Sites Per User screen under Default Planner ID.Is there a way to have two based on the type of part? TIACindy 

Hi,When you create an offer (release as a service order) , you have to define a Node and You can seta flat rate a problem code with a service guide Then if you use this offer in a field quote, the flat rate is retrieved on the header of the field quote with the price of the flat rate but the global price of the field quotation seems to also take in account the price of the lines (inheritated from the service guide). is it normal ?If I understood correctly (?)  If you put a flat rate on an offer, the behaviour expected will be to only have this global price in the field quotation, unless you add new lines.Is it correct ? or what is the meaning of a flat rate in an offer if you use it in a field quotation ?Thanks and Regardsanthony

Hi All,As per our setup end employee register time using "Time Registration” window and Supervisor authorize time registration using "Authorization” window. I found that some records duplicate in time registration window. It is only for supervisor login. When I check with ifsapp user, it shows only one record. Seem it duplicate the same record in supervisor login.Anyone has idea why it duplicate that record only in supervisor login ?  Regards,MalinG

Hi,I get below error when a project forecast is trying to approve. The data i created is in Reg Test lkp.Is this a known issue. Why i suspect this as a bug is that, the error has no connection with what i do. I am using a simple approval template (with only one step) and the forecast, or the approval template is not connected to any document. Error says something about a Signature (?)If i am wrong pls let me know how should i proceed.Above can recreate just by getting a forecast in state 'Approval in Progress’ and then try to execute the approval step in the template and observe the error.Thank you,Roshan  

I am working on a validation business rule that allows only specific people to change a request from CLOSED status to OPEN I figured the best way to do this would be using the REQUEST_EVENT table and CREATED_BY column. However, the event is only created AFTER insert so this wouldn't work. Is there another way to set this rule by the user actively doing it? or are business rules limited to tables & columns? Is this something i would need to do via XML?

Hi,I would like to confirm the OOTB behavior of FSM regarding the below situation:If we create a time_commit (during the get appointments functionality for example), the plan start of the task is updated with the start of the time commit and all of this is sent to PSO.However, if we change the start of an existing time commit, this information is sent to PSO. The SLA of the task in PSO is updated but the plan start of the task isn't updated.Could you please explain/ confirm why the behavior is different between insert and update?

Hopefully a quick one. I’m just stumped.I have a custom event that I want to trigger an email when a shop order is set to “Completely Reserved”. Seems simple enough. I have this event with the following called out as well as a custom attribute called “SHOP_STATUS” = SHOP_ORD_API.Get_Mtrl_State(&NEW:ORDER_NO,&NEW:RELEASE_NO,&NEW:SEQUENCE_NO)  The problem I’m getting is that the custom attribute for Shop Status is the OLD status before the event occurs. I would think if I had Fire After selected the object is changed that I would get the NEW status. Any words of advice?If I could find the material state as an actual standard attribute in a tab, obviously that would be best, but I cannot find it anywhere in any standard LU.IFSAPP9 by the way.

We have customized the work task screen on base profiles. It was a new screen for our users in IFS 10 so we didn’t think we had to clear their personal nodes. In the base profile everything is clean looking. In the user profile everything is “smooshed”. I can get screenshots from the users - but it is not everyone either in a base profile. Just some of the users. In our test environment we saw it and then when I refreshed the base profile and logged in as some users it seemed fine. So I updated the base profile when we moved into production but it is still plaguing some users. Is there any reason this could be happening? Any suggestions other than removing the nodes from all of the users personal profiles to update back to the base? Or any easy way to do that for many users in different profiles?

Hi,On the transaction Order Statuses, we have a status “Completed” for an order type Service OrderHow could we manually update an order to this status ?when a service order is on status Resolved or Accepted by customer, how could we change the status manually from the service order transaction (or other)  to “Completed” What are the conditions/settings to update the status to “Completed” ? Thanks and Regardsanthony

In APP 10  VAT seems to be rounded down and not to the nearest value as in APPS9 sample : HT 329.43  VAT 20% → vat =65.886 and it ‘s rounded to 65.88 and not 65.89 how can we customize this ?

I’m making a custom field to display serial number in Work Task by pulling it from Equipment_Object using the Equipment_Object_API.Get_Serial_No. Though when I go to approve it it displays the below error. The two parameters I have in the expression are the corresponding ones in the JT_Task_UIV view. 

Hi All is there a way to edit Base Profile in Aurena. One of our customers want to save searches for Aurena in Base Profile but not sure how to do that. One way is to save it in Personal profile of user and then copy it to Base Profile but is there a way to do it directly in Base Profiles like we do it for Enterprise Explorer.

I’ve created a Dimension in IFS Apps 10. I’ve then used Custom Dimension Connections to connect the Dimension to the Appropriate Information Source. I can see the Dimension in IFS Business Reporter and add it to my report. When I run the report I get the following error. If I remove the field and re-run the report it runs fine. How do I find that specific item and set the appropriate permissions to it?

I am trying to add a custom field to the page Handling Units in Stock, however the entity for the page, HandlingUnitInStock, does not show up in Entity Configuration.  Does anyone know how to resolve this issue.  TIA
