Hi!Relatively new on IFS…  In our business there is sometimes the need to ship different items to suppliers. For example, if one of our production tools is broken, we need to ship it a company in a different EU country for repairs and then they will send it back to us….what I feel is strange is that we then create a sales order of 0 EUR, Ship the part, Print a 0 EUR invoice and put that to the bin. This feels counter intuitive and perhaps a “ this is how we did it in the old system” case.What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to create a purchase order for the repair and us that to send the part? and how is that done in the system?We are in Apps10

Hi All.Could someone explane me why the system is not recalculation the due date after a new revision of a pm action? Even the PM info is set to performed date based “Yes”. But in new revision, the user set the start value to a future date and the Due date is still considering the last completion work task date. Souldn’t the system consider the next due date on Feb 2023 (Start Value) and not 11/2022? The correct way in the case bellow is the next due date should be 02/2023 and not 11/2022, because a new revision has been created.Thank for attention.Br. Lopes  

Hi,I can login to the application as IFSAPP and work without issue, but I can't use the same credentials to login to the DB.IFSAPP is not in the dba_users table either. How can we resolve the issue?I need to run SQL queries against the database that the application is using.I logged in as Sys and tried as ifsapp.XXXXX, but it also wasn't working. 

I am seeing several posts regarding the STDSIN1 and STDSIN2 external templates, but am not sure it’s clear which one I should use.  Can we use the STDSIN2 - Standard Supplier Invoice File A template to import a supplier invoice with multiple invoice lines each coded to a different account?If so, can someone please provide some detail about how to accomplish this.thanksShelley 

For BI reporting purposes, I am looking for a way to correctly link the data (costs) from the GL Voucher Rows Analysis to the Part number (as per Customer Order). Unfortunately, it appears that there is no unique identifier to link the GL voucher information to the inventory transaction history, mpccom accounting, customer order, …  I can only do an approximate link, by mapping the GL Voucher Rows Analysis [Voucher number, voucher type, account, code parts, amount] to the mpccom accounting table + [order reference] to the Inventory Transaction History. That way, we can fetch the Part Number from the Inventory Transaction History.This only works when there are not multiple rows on the Customer Order with the same cost (and code parts).  Has anyone found the real unique reference from GL Voucher information to the inventory module? 

Hi,In Alliance we can define some Territories and add some people to these territories.Do you know if it’s possible to use them with the Dispatch Console (Eventually with a BRD : in the past did you had this kind of requirements ?)Use Case : For a Technician : you can define his territories for the planification and you can use skills also to define his skills relevant for activities : printers, computers, etc…The goal is to use Territories and Skills in the dispatch console : As criteria of filter, as criteria to allocate a technician.Thanks and Regardsanthony

i have created a custom field on Customer Order Header. The field is published but it is not displayed to users except SuperUser/privileged users. is there anyway to publish the custom field globally?

In IFS APPS 10 V8, we are trying to add an external line to the planning tab of the Prepare Work Order screen. We are able to add the line and save. When we right click on the line and choose Report Manual Transaction we enter the Quantity, the cost and possibly the cost category. We receive an error message that Manual External Reporting is not allowed. How do we enable this?

we have seen following tables in FSM .INTERFACE_LOGINTERFACE_ERRORSINTERFACE_TRANS are these tables used by FSM frame work . Can we use these tables for logging the custom interface build by use for logging transaction .

In APPS9, we are trying to create a process for Entering a Manual Supplier Invoice where: The person entering cannot POST     OR  The person entering can Post but it is not authorized and it does not post to the GL.Are either of these a possibility?

A CAMT054C-file has been received from Danske Bank. On this file we have four transactions in error with the payment amount 0, and two invoice ID’s, one with a negative amount meaning an offset has been made.“Original file info”:Message Code: NTAV /Currency: SEK /Amount: 0 /Reference: ####1513120004 -5957902,001513220002 5957902,00##PROPBI 53072807 00251This should be handled automatically, is this a bug or have we missed something on the basic data set-up?Jonas Jäthing

Hi,In work task screen in Service request management, there are filters but I could not find them on many other screens like request details, is there a way to bring them there? 

We recently moved into IFS 10 and still shaking out some bugs we might have missed from the testing. We have two sites for one company. Most of our inventory and supplies for sending out equipment is at our 210 location. We have work orders started for technicians on site connected to the original customer order and project in which the original NO order was a 215. Therefore the Work Order is a 215. I want to consume the material from 210 on a new work task and sell it from 210. We create a customer order for service before we issue our parts as a placeholder of where to send the parts etc. When we try to create the customer order we get this error:BUT on the other hand if we issue the parts, create the invoice preview, and allow the system to then create a customer order for the parts it does everything correctly for 210 as requiredIs this a bug? Is there a patch for it? Has anyone else seen this or have input?

Hi,I’m trying to preview attachments connected to an  'External Supplier Invoice'  in cloud 21R2 but could not see the image attached.Installed Aurena agent but the issue remains the same.However I could see the Attachment using 'Preview' button on Attchment Panel, when the External Supplier Invoice is converted to an Invoice.Thanks!Bhagya 

IFS APPS 9Hi everyone,Is there any way to find what a text box on an IFS Form is linked to in the database? For an easy example, on the purchase order screen the site text field is tied to the contract column in the purchase_order_tab table. Is there a way to quickly figure that out if you didn’t already know? The previous methods I have used to figure this out was byTrial and error (change value in form and see what has changed in the database) Debug console to see activity going on entering search parameters and then viewing the advanced window to see the actual field nameThere has to be a better, faster solution than these. In the system info window we can see the “Object Relations”. Could these somehow be the key to this information? If so where can I find more information on how these “children” are related to the database views / tables? Thanks,Lavon

Hi,I urgently need to know how to grant our HR Manager, full HR Rights in IFS so she can do her role. She cannot see what she needs to see to create employees, to manage the employee files etc. what do I need to grant her so she can access the full HR element of the system?

Hello, is there a way to update the customer category from Customer to End Customer? The option “Change Customer Category” is no longer an available option at this stage. This can happen if you would need to update the category (due to a mistake), but it does not seem to be possible anymore. Creating a new customer is not a great option in case transactions already exist. Please share your ideas and how you’ve solved this one, thank you!
