Hello all, I have a question regarding MRP planning for a purchased item. I believe the issue is related to the PO receipt dates, which is causing MRP to not generate PORs and run negative. A firm PO was created on 11/1/2022. However, the PO line was changed to 3/30/2023The PO is showing on IPAP at 3/30/2023with an MRP Applied Date of 1/12/2023.The demand goes negative this month and MRP is not creating PORs to correct the issue (20 day lead time item). My question is, because the PO header Receipt Date is November 2022, is IFS not creating PORs because it believes this material will be here?I am not familiar enough with the MRP interworking to know if this is correct or not, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, we are running a project to enhance our Company’s intranet provision. One aspect is to show real-time finance data. I was thinking along the lines of creating a lobby for a user and then a link (somehow) that will show/update a dashboard element on their personal intranet page.  Not asking how I can achieve this but wanting to know if the concept is at all possible or not. Has anyone worked on and achieved showing lobby data in an external environment outside of IFS10? Or at least know if this is at all possible?

Hello,  I created this automatic posting rule for my not invoiced orders. As you can see this rule is trigerred by the M18 posting control. However the automatic posting is not generated although the posting related to M18 is created. Any idea how to fix this problem ?  Best regards

We are running IFS Apps10 UPD14 and I’m working on IEE Lobby Elements.I’m using a text element to add some additional context info to a lobby and I’m wondering how the “Formatting” section of the Element designer is supposed to work.  I was expecting it to format my text (in this case, center the text plus bold and italics), but it doesn’t seem to do anything.  How is it supposed to work?

Greetings, IFS community. What is the most efficient way to locate the component to which a view belongs? Any Query? Thank you.JL

Not really sure why the Demand Server cannot be started. We cannot log in with any user.  Error states ‘Invalid Password or username.’The user is not locked. The periods are defined thru 2023I know that a user reported that the last time he used this was 09/2022….so not sure when the error started.Has anyone experience this and know a fix or what to look at?

Hello all, I have noticed some behavior with my IFS Aurena saved search. I am attempting to create a saved search in the Shop Floor Reports screen where the Created By User excludes our shop floor terminal accounts. I created the does not end with and used the shop floor naming convention with the wildcard. This does return the correct values, but when I save the search, it drops that parameter. I have no idea why it’s doing that. I have the same search saved in IEE (Apps 10 UPD 12) and it works fine. During save:When I run the search, the field is returned blank.I’m not familiar enough with Aurena to understand why it would do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,Currently we are playing around with Aurena on tablets. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8Initially we started Aurena in browsers and we landed on Edge due to the ability to go full screen. Additionally when prompted to add media, the screen popped up with the option to select the camera or to browse folders. Truly amazing!Unfortunately this function does not seem to work anymore, after IT updated the tablets. I only see that this is Android 12 and a bunch of other versions of stuff I do not fully understand.Anyway, I was told in the newest version of Android Samsung has restricted media access (i.o.w. the camera does not open up when using Aurena). Could somebody help me to regain the previous functionality?Additionally could someone tell me if running Aurena this way is advised? Or is there a better/ more stable way? Thanks in advance

Hello.I’m curious if there is any way to display/filter/query for invoices in Manual Supplier Invoice view to find those where there are no attachments. Is there any feature anywhere to identify the invoice as having or missing attachment? Any tips are highly welcome ;)  Happy New Year!

Related to another unanswered topic I submitted, we have seen when employees get a new manager in the employee file, there are various other screens that have not been updated, and managers cannot see expenses etc. Is there a step by step guide somewhere on which screens to update and in which order to transfer an employee from one manager to another?Or a step by step guide to add a new employee, with all the correct position and supervisor setup in the correct order would also be helpful. This is on Apps 10

Hi, I am unable to close an accounting period and receiving the following error.Does anyone know how to resolved this please? Thank you

Hi, I have been struggling for several hours to try using this writeback function in business reporter, but the option still remains grey when i open my report …I am using information source “Project Forecast Item” that is initially setup by default to accept write back functionality, I have put some data in the forecast of my project and I can retrieve these data easily, I have added the write back cell and the mandatory reference cells, no error message, but still the option is grey… Of course i do have admin right on IFS.column G and H that are the ETC and ETA are properly fetched:and if i modify a value i get this message:which means IFS understand writeback is on going.Document options are also activated: Anyone faced the same issue and succeded to make it work ???(I m using APP10 upd 13)

Hi, 1/ In Allliance, what is the geocoding system used when we validate an address and define Lat/Long ?Is it the WGS84 ? 2/ For a customer case we import service orders with address (street, zip,  etc..) without Lat/Long.is it possible to use an API to add the Lat/Long for each service orders before creating service orders in Alliance.(we know the module Addres Validation, but in this case we have to validate Address before creating service orders In Alliance)Do you know customer case where a specific devlopement like that was done in the past ?or Do you know some other ways to validate address before create orders in Alliance ? even with another system/website to do this job for a file ?Thanks and Regardsanthony

"Suppliers" screen in the "Application Base Setup > Enterprise > Supplier" navigator path contains the below 8 columns. i want to add some more such information as address identity local and supplier name into suppliers information column, how shall i add them?

Hi,I work in the Management Information Systems Team an I often get asked to write a custom report in SQL based upon the screen that a User is looking at. For example, looking at the Customer Form in IFS Cloud:1. IFS Cloud Web Front End - Customer.pngHow is possible to see which SQL Table is used in that Form? I happen to know the answer to this particular question, it’s CUSTOMER_INFO_TAB:2. SQL Developer Oracle Query.png because it used to be easy to look at the IFS 8 Windows Form - System Info tab for which it tells me uses the CUSTOMER_INFO View and I can explode that to find the CUSTOMER_INFO_TAB Table:3. IFS8 Customer Windows Form - System Info.png How can I most easily find  which SQL Table is behind any Web Form I look at? Thank you in advance. CraigUK

How do you clear a reservation on a purchase order line? Trying to close a PO and I get the following error. We are on IFSAPPS10 UPD#6.

Hi, We just discovered that an object acquired in 2021 hadn’t been activated until now.The issue we are facing is the application wants to do depreciations from the acquisition date. But since that was last year it’s a problem. We’d like to do all the depreciation in a lump sum in present period. Does anyone know how to perform such action, if possible. Best regards. Tobias

When user exit order bij clicking cross on tab, the order is still locked in the ap_lock table with that user. When user exit order bij clicking search the order is unlocked and is deleted from ap_lock table. The experience is that the user exit orders most of the time with the cross instead of clicking search. We use ap_lock table in process flows to update orders on the background if order is not locked by user. Also we use ap_lock table to devine if order is open by a current user. I don’t know if this is a bug or just not implemented, is it possible to delete the order from ap_lock table so the order is unlocked, when clicking  the cross. 15.3.0.5 Robin

In our business model service engineers can pick billable parts from warehouses managed by FSM and give it to the customer in service location. The part needs is managed in FSM with task templates. What we expect is:Before assigning an activity PSO must check the part needs in the activity, check the availability in a warehouse where service engineer can pick part from, and finally assign the activity to the correct service engineer. is that possibile ? How we have to configure person and places in FSM and what in PSO ?In case in which we have to configure the van stock of service engineer equals to the warehouse (in order to let pso to check availability) is possible to configure FSM Mobile App to not show the stock of the entire warehouse but only the real van stock of service engineer ? thanks and regardslf

A customer wants to audit function for all key columns in all tables, which they believe will cause performance issues. From the help screen under Audit/Extract in the smart client, it states;"The audit process records information you specify and stores it in a table named metrix_audit that you can access with any program that can access your database. This information is transactional in nature; it includes the person who made the change, the time and date of the change, the type of change, the table and field changed, and so forth. You can create as many audit sets as you need. You must create a set for each FSM table you want to audit.”Even though it says that you can create as many audit sets as you need, can we assure the customer that they will not have performance issues?

(I work in US10 Finance) We are post Thor go-live and I have a customer asking for invoices from 2017.  I have always had read-only access to BIZ 7.5 - Today, the APP is not working (access point was Citrix - which is no good now, I've added a pic).  I have asked around to my colleagues if there is a new URL or if they have any knowledge - no one knows.  The suggestion to create a case came up, I am hoping that is not necessary and one of you great folks can provide at least insight, as I feel I must have missed some communique or something.  Thanks for your time.

Hi all, In the FSM Client Scripts. The baseline coding logic includes the use of {0} and {1}. May I understand what they mean and how they are to be used?Eg. the code below:var fullFilter = stringFormat("task.task_status in (select task_status from task_status where status = 'OP',' and task_status <> '{0}') and task.team_id in (select team_id from team_member where person_id = '{1}') and task.person_id is null", getAppParam("REJECTED_TASK_STATUS"), getUserInfo("PersonID"));return fullFilter; {0} and {1} are also used in many other context, like in XML Business Rules. Just want to understand how to use these 2 values.
