Hi, Is it possible in manufacturing to include an extra paramater to define the capacity, besides hours? In the assembly industry, you often have a big hall where the assembly takes places. Multiple orders take place at the same time. However, not every order needs as much as room as the other.Let’s say our hall is 100m². Order A takes 50m² for 20 hours, order B takes 25m² for 8 hours and order C takes 10m² for 40 hours.We now use 85m² meters of the 100 available. So if could theoritically still plan an order that needs max 15m².Is there an option to visualise this?  

In Aurena shop floor workbench, we use predefined filters. One of the workbenches will show the shop orders in card and list view. When you switch to table view it shows no data. What would cause this?

In many scenarios we have, we want to approve or release the document. Can this be done using the integration projection in regards of CreateDocument?

Background: Create new documents works fine using CreateAndImportDocument.svc/CreateDocument, but we often want to create a new revision (in order to keep history intact).Challenge: When we are invoking CreateAndImportDocument.svc/CreateDocument and supplying a new revision parameter, it doesn’t seem to accept the new revision number, e.g. payload looks as following:{    "DocClass": "ADDO_TEST",    "DocNo": "1365783",    "DocSheet": "1",    "DocRev": "A2",    "Title": "some test of ny revision",    "CreateFileRef": "YES"}Even though the new revision does not exist, IFS Cloud throws:    "error": {        "code": "DB_OBJECT_EXIST",        "message": "Resource already in use.",        "details": [            {                "code": 20112,                "message": "ORA-20112: DocTitle.DOCTITLEDOCNOEXIST: The document number 1365783 already exists."            }        ]    } How can we go about creating new revisions in terms of integration? Hello, I am attempting to delete an inventory location from IFS, but it states that the location is used in Shop Order Material Allocation. I have not seen this message before and I am wondering how I can search for these 12 items to remove them from the system. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hi All.Is there any solution for signatures from MWO (Aurena Natives - MaintEngApp), that are more then 32767k Clob field (since they are stored in Clob “Picture _Data”)?In data base shows OK or partial. Hello, I have setup Employee Qualifications setup to prevent unqualified users from clocking into a Shop Order for a specific Part Number. However, I have noticed if an unqualified person logs into any Team, they can clockin and report pieces on a job they are not qualified to run. I have checked the forum and I found a post that seems to indicate this is correct system behavior. However, that seems contradictory, as what would be the point of setting up qualification requirement if you can simply bypass them by joining a random team? Do qualifications not get considered when a user is logged into a team or is there a way to enforce that for Team clocking? Any guidance would be appreciated.

A service quotation is created and a work order was connected to service quotation using the connect service option, a task template was connected with work order, which got populated on the service quotation as well, service quotation is in released status, then status of Work task template is changed to obsolete and created a new revision of work task template. Now if we try to create new revision of the Service Quotation, we are getting error, that task template is obsolete and its not allowing to disconnect the work order from quotation, nor we are able to change the task template on work order

Hello, I have noticed that my PM Calendar Generation has stopped in 2021. Prior to that, the Maintenance Plans were generating without issue. I have checked the Plan, which is set for 2023: The PM Actions are setup with different intervals:The Calendar itself is valid:However, the system has stopped planning them:I have noticed that if I RMB and select regenerate plan, it does work:The scheduled database task is setup with the following parameters, which have not been changed since it was configured originally.  I’m not sure what the issue could be at this point. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

When someone clicks on Menu > Search > Event Monitor > Event Search, is there an admin change that can be made so that users can get directly to the Event Search query instead of having to click on the Query button?

Hello!Anyone ever add custom text to screens that are purely informational? There are a few business processes that I’d like to set rules for or reminders to people. Heck, I’d like to even explain the page for people when they visit it. I can’t figure out how to have custom fields or info cards do this.No big deal if it isn’t possible, just thought I’d ask the community if someone else has done it. It’ll save me having to explain how things work for the hundredth time.IFSAPP9 by the way, plans to upgrade to 10 or cloud in next year.

Hi all,Requirement : Send an email with all the attachments added in a Purchase Order / Purchase Order Line.The files are stored in FTP, therefore I cant use the edm_file_storate_tab to get the BLOB.So, I tried to use  Batch_Transfer_Handler_Api.Download_From_Ftp method  to get the files, and attach to email.And it worked for one particular document, but its failling with the below error for other documents, which are in same class, same ftp location, attached to same Purchase Order Line. Details/setup in the Document Revision screen for both are also same. The failling documents are viewable on the application without any error.Debug information also showing the same path/fileName as in edm_file_tab for these failling documents.Could you please advise on any possible reasons to failing the ftp download? or please suggest another option to attach these docs in FTP to an email.Appreciate your help.Thank you! 

In the document-revision mask there is a check-box ‘structure’. The helb says about this feature:Selecting this checkbox means that the documents that form this structure can be checked in/out or viewed in the same operation. A document structure can be useful when a document consists of other documents, e. g. if a drawing has multiple subdrawings connected to it. When testing that feature with the IEE it works as described.In Aurena there is no action on check-out and check-in visible. Is that a bug? 

I’m currently looking into if it is possible to take periodic backup of custom events.The idea is to dump the Custom Events to disk, then use commit them to a git repository. If someone breaks a custom event, we can then easily go back to an earlier version. I can read stored procedures and such from the database as SQL files, now I’d like to read out the events as well. But I do not know where to look (or if this is the best approach).

Recently, our newly deployed workstations have been handling EDM files (attachments within IFS) differently than prior configurations. Is there a setting that defines what the IEE does when a user selects a linked document (i.e. a vendor invoice that have been uploaded to EDM and attached to the Posting Proposal). In the past this action would simply show a view of the actual document (PRF, JPG etc.), but now IFS EE triggers a “Save” dialog and will not let the user see within IEE (they must save the file then open it separately in the default viewer (depending on the file type).  

Hello, Any idea, how we can set up a way to track excess and obsolete inventory in IFS Apps 10?. Any special functionality related with this in IFS? Cheers! 

Hello Information in “IFS Applications 10 Supported Platforms” says that there are planned support for Oracle 19c in IFSAPP 10 UPD6 (and higher). Can an IFS person verify that it is reality, and still not a plan. IF still a plan when will the app10 be supported on Oracle 19c

There is a flag under Master Part/Part screen in the Main tab called “Position Part”, it can be switched on and off. What does it do? I can’t find it in documentation. Using the cloud version. Thanks.
