what are the basic data that need to be configured to generate 1099 tax report and also how to generate it

In Apps9, (and going forward with our upgrades) would be good to conditionally alert users when emails from IFS advise if they are from our TEST database. Coming from PROD should be the norm and therefore nothing needed to alert the user.  Just adding DB_SID would not work, as users would ignore it - as it would be present for both PROD and TST. Ideally something like: if #DB_SID# like ‘%TST’ then ‘ This message generated from TEST’ Else NULL and add this to Subject line. Thanks

Hello all. We need to use the external customer invoice assistant to migrate some invoice in IFS and we need to enter a specific voucher date (the 30/09/2022). But at each time, the only voucher date that is automatically entered is the day of the action of the import of the invoice.We don’t understand what is blocking our wish…Here our process if somebody has the answer :) It’s the invoice that I want migrate :For the exemple, the transaction date is 31/01/2022. Here is our external file template : Here is our load type (MIG) : When I want to implement the invoice : On the external customer invoice assistant I select the load typ MIG and I enter my wanted voucher date. It’s transferred and checked without errors.I create the invoice and here is the basic screen that appears with the voucher date of today. I change the voucher date.My invoice is succesfully created but with the wring voucher date. Samed if I poste the invoice.What’s wrong wit my parameters ?

Hi,  With the help of Sajith D in this topic I was able to config SSO login for our Cloud R2 setups: “https://community.ifs.com/upgrades-updates-81/azure-ad-sso-with-ifs-cloud-r2-17998”Problem is now that as soon as I configure the “Directory ID” on a user so that the user can login through SSO, they get below errors once they are logged in: They are logged in but unable to see any pages. They can log out however. Their profile settings show no data for them.I have done this on three different environments with same result. If I remove the Directory ID they can login as a database user without problems.Am I missing something essential here? IFS Cloud documentation seem to say I only need to define the directory ID after the SSO is setup in IFS IAM.Help would be appreciated!  /Jacob  

Question from my dispatch team: sometimes we want to assign a service order to a date before the Open Date (our schedules can be a bit liquid). To do this they have to open the order and change the Open Date to (at least) the date they want to assign it to. This is very cumbersome if we need to do it on several hundrer orders. So - is there a way to overrule this?

I received the below request. to apply on IFS9i didn’t use IFS payroll system before.please advise. Please correct the numbers in IFS as per revised rate before processing payroll for January. Furthermore, since the nature of transaction is prepaid, credit entry should be mapped to below prepaid account not to accruals. Please correct the existing mapping.  

Hi all,  Can a manual commitment over ride the prerequisite demand of a job ?FSM has sent the prereq over OK:7275 should be scheduled before 7274, but PSO has scheduled them the other way round, I notice in FSM that these have been committed by a user rather than the system. Would this over ride the prereq set on the job ? Task 7274’s SLA doesn’t start until the day after, so the system would not have been able to schedule it. (plus it’s out of shift when committed). Thanks for any help

I have referred the documentation of the latest released FSM version (FSM6U20), and this version only officially supports "Android 7 through Android 12. Our customer would like to know in which upgrade we will be providing official support for android 13. Could you please kindly let us know in which upgrade we will be providing official support for android 13?

Has anyone seen Resource Groups not showing up when creating additional work in the Service Tech Portal?“The permission sets are completed in Aurena Tech Portal. I was trying to test creating new work and ran into an issue (see below). The Resource Group drop-down doesn’t have anything for me to choose from so I cannot Create New Work. Do you know why there isn’t anything in the drop-down? I would like to move forward with the Workshop – of course it could be something I’m not aware of that should be done.”

Hopefully this is an easy one: How can I request a match on the Name of the Single Select Lookup instead of it’s Shortcode? In this example, we can match application-subdomain, a Single Select Lookup, based on Shortcode, without issue. The wiki makes reference to things like .singleSelectValue.name but I’ve not been able to figure out the appropriate code for the left-hand side of the assignment in order to perform the lookup based on the Name value of the Single Select lookup field. Are there more examples of this somewhere? Or is it always based on Shortcode and I need to use a lookup table? 😀 Thanks so much,...Donovan

Hi, I'm trying to migrate invoice plans details using migration job. But it is not loaded Sub project ID and Activity ID columns to the File mapping tab. What would be the reason for that?    

We often do a production copy to our preproduction environment. Is it possible to route all the event triggered emails to one admin email address so that users are not sent false emails from the preproduction environment?

In the Service Designer I want to reorder the Service Link entries.  However, when I try (either by drag-and-drop or using the hotkeys) the ‘Outdated Data’ message box appears and the changes aren’t made.  Sometimes it shows that the move has been completed, but when the Service Designer is reloaded or when I log into the Self-Service Portal to see they actually aren’t.  I can reorder the Offerings without an issue.There’s no one else using the Service Designer or logged into the application (as this is being done in test at the moment) so there’s no user conflict possibility.How can the Service Links be reordered, please?Thanks

Hi team,Quick Question please, Can a single user be granted mutiple LTU’s. Amn example is where a user is a PR/PO authorizer and the same time this user is an authorizer for invoices. Will that work if we assign to LTU’s to this user? FTU is not needed in this case only LTU. Kind regards,Mustafa

Greetings, IFS Community! Is there anyone who has experienced that the event email has been sent and can prove that this is the case because when you search under application messages the status is "Finished", no errors are displayed, and you can even click on the application message ID to verify that this is the message that the user is meant to receive. However, the user did not receive the email, but a few times the user did receive it.The event is functioning and there is no error in the application. Has anyone ever experienced something similar? We are using the EXCHANGE server. Do you have any ideas? IFS in use is IFS9

I am trying to understand the pros and cons of the "Rename Part Number" function on the part serial record. I understand the value of being able to rename a serial number but how is the renaming part number function used responsibly? In industries that are engineering to order and where configuration management are critical to traceability and customer requirements, how is the renaming part number function used and controlled?

If there are errors at time of import, we are accustomed to either having a link to click on in the screen below to see the error file or the error file downloads automatically for us. We no longer have either. How can we access the error file? Views shown from Chrome and Edge.
