Dear colleagues,  I have created a cash box following the next steps:Make a cash box ‘direct cash payment’, amount -500; manual post to account 6490, print cash receipt. Approve cash box and then realized I put the wrong amount and I select the line and click ‘cancel cash receipt.’Line status changed to ‘canceled’, but ending balance remain unchanged - I think this might be an error. Once you approve the cash box and the transaction is updated to GL, we can cancel only the transaction, but I think IFS is settled to show the actual balance with the last transaction, even if the transaction is cancelled.In this case the transaction should not be cancelled once the Cash box it’s approved and the Actual Balance should change.Could you please help me with some advice? You can find attach the cash box analysis with the error.

Hi All,Is there a way to view Push Notifications received in the App itself later instead of going to Notification Centre in the device?For example in Amazon App, you can view Push Notifications later by going to Notification Centre or going to the App and check Push Notification messages received.Does IFS MWO Service App have the same capability of viewing Push Notifications inside the app without depending on the device Notification Centre?

Hello I have found the following in “help” from FSM regarding Outlook Integration http://imaapp13/FSMServer_ImageX_Prod/Help/FSMReferenceGuide/AboutOutlookIntegration.html However I am unable to find any further info on  how to obtain the optional add-in. Does anyone have any info on this?

We have many companies and many of these companies run multiple types of costing jobs.  These execute as background jobs in the early morning hours and often on weekends.  These jobs can take up to 2 ½ hours to run and they hold up all other costing jobs when stuck.   I would like to have an email/text message generated  to warn me when a background job is executing for more than 2 ½ hours.  Is this something I would create an application Server task for?    We  don’t have any so I don’t have any examples to look at.We don’t have weekend staff and I don’t want to have to remote in every Saturday to check if background jobs are behaving.  

Hello, in IFS Cloud, we can see that not all standard IFS fields have the field description and this is also missing for custom fields. Is there a way how we can add the description for needed fields?Thank you

Hi Team, This is regarding creation of a business rule. The action that I am looking for is as follows; Person One has Skill A, B and C. Place has Skill A and B.Person Two has Skill C.If I assign Person One to Place One, I am not stopped.If I assign Person Two, I will get stopped by a validation Business Rule.I am having difficulty using validation BR as it does not seem to process that A + B. It seems to process the rule as A or B. Am I able to use validation BR for the above? or Must I use XML BR?If I need to use XML BR, is there any sample XML code that I can be provided with?    

A user created a work order and a purchase requisition for a service part required.  The PR was processed to a purchase order and received and closed.The PR and PO process was a mistake and we cancelled the receipt, cancel the order and got the requisition to planned state again.  The requirement was to rollback the purchase raised. Now we cannot delete the PR due to there are two cost lines created against the work order related to the purchasing.  The delete transaction option is disabled for transaction type ‘Work Task Purchase’    in the work transaction window. Now we are in a situation where we cannot finish the work order due to the PR and we cannot delete the PR due to the cost lines. Do we have any options here?    We are on APP10 UPD13.

Hi IFS Guru, Can anybody enlighten me on the following scenario: I m creating PM Action on piece of an equipment without Work Task Template, need to put some information about craft man hour etc. I can visualize that once Work Order is generated from PM Action, you can go and put steps, material and man-hour for each steps. But this will create a lot of work for the planner, to go and amend all the Work Order with the required info, is there any work around by putting all these detail without using Work Task Template ? I am using IFS Cloud Version R 22.1.1 Shez

Hello,I’m using IFS Cloud. I currently have a custom event and an event action that should send an email every time a Business Opportunity closes. For some reason, even when the mail sender is on, emails aren’t being sent. Does anyone know why this might be the case? Everything looks fine to me.My Custom Event: Custom Attribute defined in the Custom event above My Event action When I close a Business Opportunity with the Reason ID of 40, nothing happens.

Installing the MICR font for printing checks in the USA.When exporting the XML data from IFS to my pc and then open the check in Report Designer, the font seems OK, so issue is with the installation in the IFS database. The font is in the attached zipped file (GnuMICR.ttf). I have used the option to drag the font onto the Report Fonts page in IFS and the GnuMICR font appears in the list as described, but it is not applied when printing a check. 

Hello,Is there a place IFS Cloud stores the logs of events, custom events, event actions, etc?I have an emailing event action but we aren’t getting any emails sent out, and other than doing an email trace, we have no way to debug to test what’s causing emails to not get sent/emails failing.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hello,I currently have a custom event and event action that sends an email out. I would like to have a custom attribute on the custom event that gets the email we need to send to. This is currently what I haveSadly, this ends up in an error, no matter the formatting. I’ve tried just using BusinessOpportunityHandling.GetDefaultsForSendMail and multiple different formats, but nothing works. Can someone please show me how to properly do this? all of the ifs documentation shows are actual API calls like:but when you go to API Explorer in IFS Cloud, there are no actual “APIs” like this, only projections, which as I understand it, are oData API’s. There’s no other documentation for IFS. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hello, I’m wondering what the formatting might look like for when you try to call a projection function as an API call? I’d like to call the GetDefaultsForSendMail function from the BusinessOpportunityHandling Projection. I know the API is called Business_Opportunity_API but I have no way of seeing what the method looks like for the GetDefaultsForSendMail function. There is no real API documentation in the API explorer, only the projection (oData API) documentation. I’m trying to execute a PL/SQL server method to call that API function for an event action. Thanks,Bryan

Hello, I am currently trying to use the writeback functionality in Business Reporter.When I am working on creating the Procedure for the the writeback, if I update the API package and try to use the writeback functionality again, I am returned with this error: ‘Existing state of has been invalidated’. I have refreshed my cache, logged out and back in, and nothing changes it. The API works normally from inside SQL Developer.  I am unsure of how to solve this error, any advice is appreciated.

Anybody who ever managed to pick up Technical Characteristics and merge them into a document using macros?If so - can you share how to set up the object connection to manage this?
