Hi,

I am trying to create an Object Connection Transformation(OCT) between Standard Task and Service Catalog. However, both objects do not seem to have any common key values, so I am unable to map them directly.

Is there any way to create this Object Connection without customization or without adding new columns/extensions?

If anyone has implemented a similar connection between these two objects, could you please suggest the recommended approach?

Thanks in advance.

Best you can do is to set it up to ServiceStandardTask. There’s no one to one link between the Service Catalog Item and the Standard Task.

@Lekshmikanth C what are you trying to achieve? Those would not be inherited a third step e.g. to Request Scope/Task anyway.

@anmise  Thank you that works  and Is there anyway we can map Request and Service Catalog?

That would be ServiceCatalog to SrvRequestScope, but what I tried to say in my first comment is, it won’t work in three steps i.e. Standard Task → Service → Scope, if that’s what you’re trying to achieve.

@anmise  Is there any way to perform a transformation from SrvrequestScope to srvrequest, or from Service Catalog to srvrequest?
I understand that there is no one to one relationship between these entities for transformation . However, I would like to know if there are any possible workarounds or alternative approaches to achieve this

Also We are able to create attachments from SrvRequestScope to JTask, but similar functionality is not available from SrvRequestScope to SrvRequest. Is this an intended limitation, or could it be considered a gap or bug?
