We got reported an issue on splitting a shop order operation, the error message is :
Field [ENG_CHG_LEVEL] in Shop order may not be modified
We are not trying to change the revision, we don’t know what to do to fix the issue.
Do you have any idea? It’s a manufacturing type shop order

From what I understood, there is an issue in the IFS script, I don’t know yet if the script has issues on a prototype type shop order, I made an IFS case

That is what the IFS support answered me, but nowadays, we are still on an old version of the application, so we currently have no solution to our issue

We are on Apps 10 UPD8 and sometimes see this error.
For us, usually it means our shop order dates are outside of the phase in/out dates for the revision of the inventory part we are trying to build.
We get around it by amending the phase in & out dates of the revisions on the inventory part record so that the shop order dates fall within the valid range for the revision the shop order is at.
