Hi Experts,

My user is connected to PSO Workbench Administrator users but in PSO I cannot see some Admin functions. All Admin persmissions are granted from PSO end as well

Some missing functions in PSO,

  1. I cannot see ADMIN Group under Parameter

  1. I cannot see “AdminApplicationsView” under persmisssion?

Any reason for these limitations?

Thanks

KM

Hi Kasun,

is this PSO environment hosted in IFS managed cloud? Access to the Applications-Screen in the Admin Workspace is usually prohibited in those environments. It’s only available in the Default organization, which is reserved for our Unified Support Team.

Best regards
Roman

Thanks in advance,

Kasun

Hi Kasun,

not sure. Do you have the PSO Administrator credentials? You can try to login into the PSO Workbench with that account and check if it’s visible or not.

Hi @KAMANUK

Yes, as Roman explained, typically in IFS-managed environments there are two organizations (tenant accounts)

  • The child organization, which is used by the customer
  • The parent (default) organization, which is accessible only by IFS

As an administrator of a child organization, your access is typically limited to managing your own organization data and configuration. Parameters within the ADMIN group, however, belong to the default (parent) organization. To view or modify these ADMIN parameters, access to the default organization is required. This is because these settings govern the core behavior of PSO services across the entire multi-tenant environment.

Therefore, for IFS-managed customers, any changes required do be done in the parent (default) organization (e.g, app Service restarts, ADMIN group parameter changes)  must be requested by raising a support ticket with IFS.

Best regards,

Sachitra
