Hi

We’ve just upgraded from 23R2 to 25R1 and I wanted to double-check which version of IFS Studio 18 I should start using.  The Studio download pages all seem to want to download a 25R2 version.

Can I still get IFS Developer Studio 18 (v25.1.0691) which appears to be the last 25R1 version or is it ok to update to the 25R2 version even though we don’t need to account for the new EBR requirements?

My current version is 24.1.0093.  If I select ‘check for updates’ what version will it update to or should I be downloading and re-installing?

Any guidance much appreciated!

Hi @MMcK

it is ok to get the 25.x.xxxx version and use it for you 25R1 development work. Make sure you set the project target version correctly to 25R1-GA.  Tool is backward compatible or even the latest tool works find with older target version as long as the correct target version is set in the project properties.
