Netting on arrival locations

Hi,

In the DOP releasing process, where we net everything, IFS will take parts on a arrival location into account and will not create additional PR’s for these parts.

However, the parts on the arrival location are not netted or reversed, which means that if they move into stock they could be used for every other order as well.

Is there any way to go around this issue?

Thanks!

To me it sound strange that parts on an arrival location would be netted to a DOP order. I ran a quick test and for me the netting process ignored any parts on the arrival location, and a PR was created as expected upon DOP order release.

Hi,

You are correct, I did it wrong in my exercise. Apologies.

It is however a strange way of reasoning: As long as the PO is released or confirmed, you can net it. In the period is has arrived and is on arrival location, you cannot. And afterwerds, once in stock, you again can.
