We are moving in a brand new IFS database. We are currently testing the process to bring from our old ERP system the open supplier invoices in the new IFS so that we can eventually pay them.So far we have been able to use the STDSIN2 external file template to import some test data. It creates the Manual Supplier Invoices under SUPPEXT Invoice type with the Invoice identity prefix being SX and in a PRELPOSTED status.If we try to create a Supplier Payment against any of the SX Invoices we do not see them at all. I even tried to changed the invoice type to SUPPINV in the external file before the import. It thus create the invoices under the SI prefix. I see the manuel supplier invoices created directly in IFS  but none of the ones that I imported with the External Supplier Invoice Assistant. Am I missing a step? Any help appreciated!  

Hi,  My customer is looking for the possibility to have a multilevel configured structure for a Shop order, but where phantom parts are still present. I know Manufacturing structure screen allow the user to get the full multilevel mBOM, yet it is not a configured mBOM.On DOP header, there is also a multilevel mBOM, which is configured, yet phantom parts are not visible (because they’re phantoms). Does someone know if a report that would generate the following bom can be built ? : Multilevel BOM Configured BOM  Phantom parts are visibleI think this would be helpful for others too !

Community, how to fix below error, just borrow your mind. For some reason I cannot make an entry to project S101978. I checked project is open and activity ID is open, however system does not let me to make an entry.

We have just upgraded to Alliance 15.4, and most of the users now use the Employee Web Portal. There are, of course, some functional differences between this and the Astea Browser. A question has come up: is it possible to auto-populate the Node on new contracts in WEP? With Astea Browser it is always set to the customer node (which is what we use 95% of the time).

Every time when we log in to MWO screen ,we need to put temporary pin . We don’t want to do that , how we can bypass this step ?

Hello,I am currently trying to get customer orders that were in blocked status and then released from blocked status, to process normally and reserve items. (Basically continue as they normally behave when they do not have blocked status). As it currently stands, orders that are blocked do not reserve parts or process normally when released from their blocked status. How do I get these orders to “refire” automatically when manually released from blocked status?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hi, In our DOP structure, shop orders for the same parts will arise on different levels, with different need dates. IFS creates all these seperately. Is there a setting which tells IFS to create the Shop orders once, at the earliest due date with a lot size that can cover the needs for the complete DOP? A bit like MRP planning method G. Thanks! 

Hi, While I am trying to remove a user, I get this error which I am unable to trace the reference for. 

I have created a Quick Report (Crystal Report) that uses the Azalea Code 39 barcode.  When running the report with the barcode in it the report fails with the message: Failed to retrieve the report.  Please contact your system administrator.    If I remove the barcode from the report the report runs without any errors. Please advise.

Attempting to make a modification to UniformPaymentAdvice need to remove the first 2 characters from the Invoice ID.  Attempted to use this - vldtstr:StrLTrim(tns:INVOICE_NO,'SI') and I get the below error when I try to render the PDF.If I try to render again I get the below errors.  And then the No Data Available error. 

Hello, Shipment Proforma invoice uses a field called customs value to display pricing for items. One issue, however, is that my customs value is not populating. I realized that this customs value is getting pulled from the Customer Order Line entity. I can manually set the value there and have it carry over to the shipment proforma invoice screen, but I wanted to get it to populate automatically.Is there a way I can do that? I’m not sure if its a setting that I would have to set, or if I would have to create a workflow with a projection configuration.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hi,I have 2 valid absence limits for ARTT, one line ending at 30th April and the other line ending at 31st December. However, when register an ARTT absence before 30th April system always deducts automatically from the line ending at 31st December (highlighted line) instead of  the line at 30th April.  Is there a way to control this? How can I select the 30th April line to get deducted when registering ARTT leaves? Thank you.RegardsNimesh

Hi  On Document Class Management there are Document Default Values that list “Create New Document Wizard”  as one of the options.Does anyone know how you create a new Wizard so some of the Description Fields can be filed in when a certain Doc Class file is attached.  ThanksMark
