We’re in IFS APP10 and a quick report (SQL) of which the source is an IAL (i.eSELECT … FROM IFSINFO.C_SOME_IALWHERE ...) fails to export to excel. When clicked on the function, it shows the quick report execution dialog to enter parameters and then shows the error when pressed ok  This quick reportThis does not happen to another standard quick report for example with permission to “IFS_ALL” but even if “IFS_ALL” is granted to this report, it still gives the same error.Our other quick reports done without using IALs do not give this error, therefore I believe the IAL is not readable to the Export to Excel function.Questions:Is this a permission issue ( with the quick report or IAL or Both?) If so, which exact permissions need to be granted to make the stream readable?Thanks in advance!

On a MS level 1 part IFS seems to be adding in numbers to the consumed forecast column that is then effecting the projected balance of the part and we don’t understand why? The forecast is entered manually into “demand forecast” page therefore previous the week is over written we believe so there shouldn’t be any figures in this column.Is this to do with the promise method? (set to Available to Promise).Forecast Consumption currently set to “drop”.thanks

Hi,Trying to create a WO using the projection SimpleWorkReportingAssistantHandling in 22R2. As the first step, the necessary information is inserted into an virtual and it is successful. Final step is to invoke POST https://carrix-stg.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/SimpleWorkReportingAssistantHandling.svc/SimpleWorkReportingSet(Objkey='{Objkey}')/IfsApp.SimpleWorkReportingAssistantHandling.SimpleWorkReportingVirtual_Finish.Here, the objkey is needed from the previous step as a Path Parameter and it does not accept a request payload. I was able to extract the objkey using the below method.But unable to connect the objkey as a Path Parameter to the URL.Any ideas?Thank You!

Is it possible to disallow the addition of an approval step when the status of the document revision is "in the approval process" ?  (in Version IFS10)

I am trying to create a Custom Field on the Purchase Order that pulls the Lead Engineer from a WO into the PO as the Order Contact. I am trying to get this to work and having problems doing so, it is not showing an error but I am not seeing the Lead Engineer. We recently made a change to our PO Authorization Rules and we are now struggling because we are unable to receive the orders which were authorized per the old rules because the system errors out at receiving and requires re-authorization per the new rules.  Is there any way to work around this and allow prevent the re-authorization at receiving?

Hi, In Astea Alliance there is a call button next to the customer contact number. When pressed error message comes with CTI is Unavailble. Is it possible to call with Astea Alliance or to connect it with a voip centrale for example avaya?. If so which are supported.  thanks in advance,

I have unchecked the “active”  checkbox to make a certain Scheduling Exception inactive, however this exception type still appears. is there another step i’m missing?

Hi all,does anybody have the practical expirience with UoM different than hours on the level of Work Center? How does it work together with UoM of the manufactured part? What is the impact on the lead time? Is there any documentation on this topic (not just describing that you can fill here different UoM than Hours which is the default)? Hello,We’re on APPS 10 UPD16. On Procurement > Order > Purchase Order screen, we have already the “Order No” field automatically filled in with a # when we save/adding new records. I would like to have this field non-editable by the end-users, so that we don’t end up with orders out of the autogenerated sequences we programmed in. Is there a way to “grey out” this field, but still let the autogenerated numbers to be saved in?Thank you! paul.

Hello,I’m in 23R1 and working with Sub Contract/Sub Contract Approvals.  I have an Approval ID set in the Approvals section of this screen.  According to the materials I have and what I remember from the old days, I should be able to associate and approval routing to my approval ID.  I must be missing something.  How do I tie the approval routing to the approval id so that I need to have all steps approved before I can change the status to Awarded, for example.Thank youPatrick
