Hi All,Wondering if there is a way we can hide the assigned tasks tab of a work package from specific user groups. Reason: we are seeing an organisational impact with maintenance exection teams attempting to justify deferring maintenance as they can see the remaining compliance limits. This control is not in their jurisdiction to interrogate.Wondering if other Airlines have seen/heard similar. Thanks,

Hi,My Client company has 9 different Branches and there can be instance where the customer wants to declare a “company holiday” for “one particular branch” without effecting it for other 8 branches. In the Employee calendar the date needs to be marked as a “Off day”.My Question is - What is the best solution to accommodate this request without creating Nine different holiday calendars and adding different substitute schedules?  Thanks in advance !Regards,Nuwanthika

Hi,I have an apps 10 server which we have installed new SSL certs on - these contain the normal host name eg. server1, and the fully qualified name e.g. server1.example.com.  We can access IFS middleware using the host name (server1) but not the fully qualified name (server1.example.com), we insted get a “Forbidden” warning.  Where is this controlled in the ifs mw configuration, and how to I get IFS to answer to both?

Hi, communityOn IEE we could see the name of the view and sql colunm by opening the system information menu. I know that I can see the name of the view if I bring up the page info menu, but I can’t see the colunm names. Does anyone knows how to get the sql colunm names on IFS Cloud?Thanks!Cruz

In the Analysis Norms page in Quality Control, what information should a user see in the Test Result column? I have looked in numerous environments, Apps10 thru Cloud, and in all instances this column is blank for all records.

Good afternoon, I’m trying to set up macros for a customer environment and I’m unable to make it work for a customer environment in cloud. I’ll list out the bullet points of steps followed to see if anyone could help out: Downloaded and installed IFS Aurena Extension (for correct environment) Created new Doc Class Created Document Macro Blocks    Created Document Macros:   Entered the Object Attributes for Macros:    Copied Macros into Doc Class Management page (checkin, checkout, createnew)   Created Checkin, Checkout and Createnew in Doc Class Process Action with macro option: RunIfOnlyOne (tried SelectAndRun too) - and Name Files Using: Force Document Title and Name.   Made sure that on Object Connections, the Logical Unit contains the “DocReferenceObject”   Then when creating a document from the LU chosen, and opening the Word Doc (doing it for Word07 - Docx), and clicking on: Insert > Quick Part > Document Information > DocProperty   After following those steps, I a

Hi,I am just trying to find out if there is a way in IFS APP9 to find who actually created PO Change Order?As when any user creates PO change order it just copies current coordinator and Order History tab doesn't seems to be recording it either. Any ideas please?  Thank you Kate

I need some help and suggestions 😎Starting this week. several UAT testers  are unable to log into Alliance from PC and encounter error message “The type initializer for 'AsteaAO.SecurityManager' threw an exception”.There are no errors on the server, and errors are only in the client event logsSometimes deleting the XML file in the Astea temp folder works, sometime uninstall and reinstall works, and other times mutliple attempts to log in will work.

 Hello, I am using IFS version 8. On some computers, when "view" is tried in the document management system, it throws it from IFS. Is anyone experiencing this problem. IFS closes on my computer with the same user, but not on my friend's computer.

Hi,I have added a new text attribute called CLender to an entity in Cust layer and added it to an existing view by overtaking it because the projection entity set referred entity is fetching data through that view. When I query the view in plsql developer I can see the new attribute is added in the view.When I try to get the entity set via the URL,  I get the following ORA error.  I’m new to working in the customization layer. It would be great if someone can help me to resolve this issue. Am I missing any step here? 

Hi All,I was able to add a Aurena wo url/link from a customization into the notify me app - authorizing PO details page. Customer is in 22R2.But i’m unable to navigate to that page with a internal/external browser with a click. it direct me to the following error. Can anyone verify navigation is not possible from notify me app?Thank you!

For a single user the coordinator is not auto-populating. In the prepare work order screen, CO information tab, the coordinator does not fill in automatically.  The default coordinator is setup for the user on site.

Hello, The IQA button does not appear on the web client. It seems like the functionality is limited to the Smart Client. I am using release 6 and update 23. There are a couple of FSM client scripts that hide the IQA button (REPAIRCENTER_HIDE_IQA and REQUEST_HIDE_BUTTONS).Is there any chance of this functionality being made available in the web client going forward?  ThanksRegardsNeville

Hello, I am attempting to have Business Opportunities automatically close when it passes their expiration date. I have used workflows and scheduled database tasks before, but there does not seem to be a way to create a database task to schedule it to run every day to check for expired Business Opportunities, and there does not seem to be a way to schedule a workflow to run every day. I’m not aware of any projection actions or event actions that get run every day.What can I use to achieve what I’m looking for? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Has anyone come up with good ways to enable alerts/notifications using the IFS Assyst Mobile App?We have support personal who want to be alerted especially during off hours whenever a high priority incident or outage occurs. So, we want a push notification not simply that they check email on a regular Candance.
