Hello, I am attempting to trigger a workflow via a database task, so that I can schedule the database task to run daily. My end goal is to have a workflow that gets triggered every day. It does not need parameters.Is this possible with FND_WORKFLOW_CONNECTION_API.START_WORKFLOW? I am creating a database task to use this method. I am not sure what it’s asking for, for its parameters. Would anyone be so kind to provide an example of the formatting this is expecting?Any and all advise would be greatly appreciatedThanks,Bryan

I am trying to set up a survey in IFS assyst using an event query. When I run the query in event monitor, it returns a list of events, with then Affected user field populated.When I add the query to the survey, and click on Issue Request, i receive an error “Event Query returns no users.”Am I missing something? 

Hello, How can you get Business Opportunities to automatically close once their expiration date is equal to the current date? This seems like a pretty basic feature but there doesn’t seem to be any options available on IFS Cloud

Hello,What is the purpose of the expiration date for Business Opportunities? Do they auto close once they go past the expiration date? if not, how do I get them to automatically do this? I have a scheduled database task that uses the “Set_Closed” method of the Business Opportunity API but I cannot set this to only occur when the Expiration date = SYSDATE. This results in an error that makes IFS think the opportunity is already deleted, because its not coming up with a result. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hello,I would like to set up a process that notifies the customer that their Business Opportunity is going to expire in a week, 5 days, 3 days, and when the BO has actually expired. I can set up an event action to handle when a field has changed… so I’m thinking about having a daily database task that updates a custom field that represents how many days until this BO expires, and basing the event off of that.My only issue is the email portion, for the Business Opportunity, the contact email is not available for the entity. How can I set this up so that field appears on the BO? Obviously IFS has the entity connection set up since the Contacts appear on the BO page, but I cannot access that BusinessObjectContact entity from the BO entity, to add in a custom field that references the email.How should I approach this? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan 

Hello,I’ve been looking for so many ways to execute a workflow on a daily schedule for IFS Cloud. There have been some IFS Employees that have mentioned that they don’t know how to, but I still want to believe there is a way to do this. I am trying to close expired Business Opportunities and Sales Quotations by running a workflow I built. I also would like to send an email out when Sales Quotations and Business Opportunities are 7, 5, or 3 days away from expiring.Is there any way to accomplish this? It seems like IFS Cloud is so limited in what you can do. In Apps10 you had some workarounds for accomplishing this but it seems like there is no way to do this in IFS Cloud. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

Hello Everyone, There is a requirement to send Attachments  with the same email of the Purchase Order’s Print Order...The mail should contain the attachments of the Purchase Order as well as the Purchase Order report.This should be happen only if the attachments are in specific document classes eg: 4600 - 4699.This should be work in Aurena as well. Please let me know if you have any idea of how to do this.  Many Thanks,Denuka

I have done some changes to the list of my work for mWO in the past. I made the changes in the context global (understood: discussable). Now I want to make another change and there is no content available:Three dots below Content show the Order by option, which has a grey > sign which means nothing there as well.I do have a page configuration that is published: I see the work done, in the past, in mWO. If I unpublish the global context I see the standard overview in mWO on the MyWork page.Anyone an idea why I don't see any content?

Hi,I have added Command Group in Automatic Tax Proposal projection to generate a report. When executing the action, it is giving an error saying “14:24:04 ERROR - line 2, column 2: (Server Error) Database error occurred. Contact administrator. undefined14:24:04 ERROR - Command error: (line 2, column 2) - , details: undefined undefined”Method has two parameters and values are passing correctly. To make sure parameters are not causing the error, I created a test method without parameters and attached to Custom Group. It is still giving the same error.Any suggestion to rectify the issue is appreciated.(custom RMB created in EE works fine with the same method)Thank you.

What does this mean? We have created the Quotation, updated all the Work Orders and Task Information, calculated the costs etc. but when trying to Release the Quotation this is appearing? Thanks,

( mapping in IFS)we place PO to supplier A ( 10 m, bar) and asked to delivered to supplier B location.we place PO to supplier B ( supplier B uses the 4m bar , supplied by us from supplier A and deliver the final material)  ( remaining 6, bar will be lying in supplier B place and uses in next PO). how we can track material locations/ remaining qty/paper work - sending material from supplier A to supplier B)Thanks

Hello,We’ve changed some of our parts to be Primary Supplier Transit on their Sales Part Record. We have Customer Orders currently in the Planned state that contain these parts. I had assumed that if I change the Supply Code of these parts on the Customer Order to be Purch Order Trans, that their PO’s would be automatically created when the job was released. I’m finding that this is not the case. Automatic PO creation was working in our TEST environment if I created a new Customer Order with the changed parts on them and then released the Customer Order. The automatic PO creation just doesn’t seem to be working on Customer Orders that were already created before the parts’ Sales Part sourcing option was changed. Anybody have any ideas?

Hello,Checking if this is correct in our version IFSAPP9.The PO order quantity was reduced manually by the buyer after partial receipt to match the quantity received, but neither the PO header nor the line item closed automatically. Both had to be closed manually by the manager.Is it because of the manual change in the PO qty after the receipt?Normally, for us, when the quantity received is equal to the PO quantity, the PO line and the header closes automatically. Angelo DiSipio

Hi,    I am working on a SQL query related to  view PROJECT_FORECAST_ITEM_COST. When opening the project forecast, there is a SQL column address as “&AO.SUB_PROJECT_API.Get_Description(PROJECT_ID,SUB_PROJECT_ID)”. Hi There,I have created a Purchase requisition authorization rule and routing templates, and for some reason all my routing steps are not being displayed on the requisition or routed as per the steps. I’m at a loss for what I may have missed. What could I be missing that I am not seeing by chance?I have been under the assumption all steps will show especially if I have “Include All Steps and Consider Limits” selected on the auth. Rule general tab. Auth. Rule 1 - Priority 1 <$500k - Maximum amount $500kRouting template linked to auth. Rule 1, using project roles, all with auth. limit of $500kStep 10 Step 20 Step 30 Auth. Hi everyone,  can anyone please tell me how the priority works on a maintenance plan, as you can see in the below image the priority is set to be 3 which is 2 weeks however when observed the planned start date and latest finish date has difference is just a week.   Thanks a lot in advance cheers

Hi, can the issue-ing of the materials be linked to starting the shop order operation in the shop floor workbench? We would like that when the operator hits the start button, all reserved materials are issued so they get into WIP. Without the operator needing to press ‘issue all’ Thank you!

Hi, In Apps 10 we can send a customer order to a collogue using Send to Option in RMB menu options with a message.  But I couldn't find a similar feature in IFS Cloud. Is there any functionality in IFS Cloud which caters to the same requirement?If so, how I can use it? Regards, NayD
