When adding a view to a custom field, an error pops up when synchronizing.The customer follows the below steps.Create read only custom field for Purchase Order Lines Select statement using arguments order_no,line_no,release_noSELECT MAX(ifsapp.receipt_info.arrival_date) FROM ifsapp.receipt_info WHERE ifsapp.receipt_info.source_ref1 = :ORDER_NO AND ifsapp.receipt_info.source_ref2 = :LINE_NO AND ifsapp.receipt_info.source_ref3 = :RELEASE_NOData type of custom field: Date and format: Date Click on detailed views and add receipt_info_alt Approve and publish/synchroinze  Synchronize and it errors. Any solutions?  

One of our customer has a requirement for a huge business report (56 columns of excel BR report) and they prefer creating information sources from IAL's. For me the challenge is the limit of 4000 characters on the IAL . In fact we need at least 32000 limit to make a meaningful IAL. Right now I have to split the IAL's into 13 parts and then I have to create one final IAL by calling that columns. The whole process become cumbersome , difficult to maintain the code and do changes. I know IFS decided to depreciate the IAL use but please suggest alternate. Meanwhile I created a Quick report to at least test the IAL data. My challenge here is that the report is timing out since it only runs for 300 seconds and error's out. Being a technical person I am worried about the complexity of working in Cloud. Please guide me what are the best options available for creating customized Business Report on  the cloud installation is below.  Also wish to know what could be the LINK to be provided in IFS

Hi All  What is the basic data setup for Inter-Company order flow ? Any document to follow ?

We are installing the base version of Astea Alliance version 14 on the new development server.during the installation, we are getting the error “Wrong Company Name or bad license file”.We are using the same license file from our existing QA environment and the Company name uses the same as we have in Configuration Editor.Could you please help me where we are making mistake on this step?

A quick an easy answer I hope.Can we use SOAP with IFS Cloud .. IFS Hosted / On Prem?I am fully aware that we should be trying to utilize Rest but I am thinking about our existing legacy method like SOAP when we come to upgrade from Apps 10 to Cloud.  James

Hi.I am trying to find the Attachment bar under the page Payment Addresses in IFS Aurena.However there is nothing visible, like in the IEE client.Need to use it for Approval Routing and Document attachment.Can somebody advise if this is possible in IFS Aurena or not made yet? RegardsBrian Sandfeld

Greetings, IFS Community. Every time a new certificate is installed or updated on the server and after IFS has been reconfigured, a new PrintAgent is loaded. Is that correct?Where can I find the new PrintAgent installer?  I searched in my IFS home, and I do not see a new installer. Could you please provide screenshot with your answer? This is for IFS 9Thanks,JL

Due to moving from IFS Apps 10 UPD 6 to IFS Apps 10 UPD 7 I have downloaded the latest Print Agent from the Add-Ons and installed it.  Also, added the printers and started without any errors.   However, when printing from IFS the print jobs don’t appear in the IFS Print Monitor.      Any ideas?

Hello Community, I created a Separate PM Action, but I can’t figure out how to get IFS to create the Maintenance Plan.  I was able to Manually Generate a Work Order, but I would like to see the plan at lest for the year.  You can see my Maintenance Plan parameters on the attachment.  Please help! 

Hello, We have been using the IFS Enterprise Explorer (EE) windows client for many years and more recently in our Apps 10 set up with much success.  However,  a move towards to use any device means that the majority of our staff will be using Chromebooks and we have been making the transition to the IFS Aurena (non windows) user interface.  In EE UI our config includes many custom fields that have been added to assist the business. Can someone please advise how to take the existing custom fields created in EE to the Aurena set up?This would help ensure all of the good work done with customisations can continue with limited issuesto system users.Thanks in advance.Des 

The Request type in our Customer Support Orders is set to be mandatory but users are still able to save a new CS order without entering one.If they later make a change, it then stops them until they add this but it should force them to add one when they create it, not only if they change something.This all works fine for Service Orders but not in Customer Support Orders.  Are there any other settings that control or affect this?ThanksChris

Hi, if we use the standard Ship WIP to supplier, we only have the delivery note that can be printed. We would like to have more documents in some cases, comparable to the options we have in the shipment flow/ customer order flow. How can this be achieved? Thanks!

when I want to log in to the customer portal on the IFS site, I get an error message with different browsers. Also a reset of the password is no longer possible.What am I doing wrong?

We would like to complete a contra between a customer account and a Supplier Account.  This is not something we have done previously in IFS before and so am unsure if it is even possible.Please can you advise if there is a way to complete this type of transaction in IFS ?  ThanksDarren

Hello all, I am hoping to understanding if the following functionality is possible in IFS Apps 10 UPD 15. Currently, I have a Lot/Batch tracked part where we define a Lot number upon receipt. Currently, the part is set to backflush. I know that if I change the consumption method (issuing), I can force the system to prompt for a Lot Number. Is the same possible for Backflushing? Ideally, when the user is reporting a Shop Order completed qty in SFWB, the system would prompt them to enter the Lot Number of the component part they are consuming. I have not seen anything in the help that would indicate if this is possible. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi Community,We have a Aurena customer facing below issue when trying to view My Time Registration window but a message saying “Could not load metadata for TimeRegistrationEmployee” appears.Here is the problem summary: Re-creatable only in Test and re-creatable in pre-prod as informed by the customer. Managed to re-create for both My Time Registration and Time Registration.There are two user who is facing the issue and the other is viewing it without any issue.Current findings summary:* No issues appeared to be there with data related to Time Registration in “fnd_model_design_data_tab”* No issues appear to be existing in dba_context view * Page Configurations: Unpublished and re-published page configurations relating to time registration. Caches / Meta caches refreshed. Didn't resolve the issue.* Disabled base profile and person profile and cache refreshed. Still not resolved.* No issues with permission sets. I am looking to see if we can add site address as a search parameter in the console sidebar. We routinely have hundreds of open orders and using address to search is the most efficient method. I have checked every possible setting and have come up empty. If this is not available, can it be added?Thanks, Sean

Migration Jobs are not visible to end user in Excel Plug-in. How do I assign permissions to a specific Job for a specific end user?  We are on APPS 10 UPD# 11. I only what the end user to have access to a specific job.
