Hi All, I have a customer where 1 user is able to connect an Export license and the other is not. The license remains in status ‘Unconnected’ for the other user; When that user asks help from the other user they are immediatley able to get the connected export license in status ‘Approved’. i have been looking into the cause of the issue bu having trouble to identify the issue. All Permission sets seem to be ok. What else could cause this behaviour? Best RegardsRoel

When I try to enter a code part value in a project forecast line, I always get an error saying the <code part> is not allowed for this forecast line. From where can we control this? under what condition we can enter a code part values in a forecast line?  

Hi Team, As part of customer requirement i created a database task, how do i include this in my delivery?I created a utility packagefiles: 1) xxxxx.utility 2)xxxxx.plsqlDatabase Task in application: xxxx ( When i export this it is in XML format)Database Task Schedule( i scheduled it to execute twice in a day)- I dont see any option to export the schedule created, Wonder if there is a wayHow do we export this schedule? Inorder to deliver this how do we include this file, is there any documentation for this? Hello,We utilize work task steps on work tasks to indicate different objects that need to have work performed on them as part of the overall work task. We have some scenarios where certain work task steps aren’t able to be completed during that original work task for various reasons. We’d like to be able to “move” that work task step to a different work task so it could be scheduled with other work. However, each work task step gets locked to the task when it’s created. Is there a reason why work task steps get locked to the work task? Is there a different way to be able to move the work task step? Ideally, we’d be able to move the step to a different task while maintaining the unique step number. If this isn’t possible to do, I can’t see to figure out why a step number has to be locked. We can move tasks to different work orders (under certain conditions), so why are steps always locked? We are running Apps 10 update 13.

I’ve inserted a chart in a Business Reporter report.  I added the chart as a separate tab.  When I do this, the report doesn’t seem to work.  Are charts only able to be embedded in the same worksheet, not a separate worksheet from the source information?

Hello, I’m trying to understand the functionality of MS Set 0. Supply Chain Planning>Master Scheduling>Master Schedule SetsI understand Set 1 is system generated and data here is used for MRP/CRP and also as a user I can create multiple user defined sets to use for forecasting, before copying over to Set 1. The field description tells me Set 1 is always “Current” and Set 0 is “Base”. However the help function only refers to MS Set1. Is anyone able to explain the purpose of MS Set 0 and what happens to the data in this set? Thanks!

Apps 10 UPD16 - I’m looking at using Open Balances History and have done some testing but wondering if anyone could confirm what I think to be true - but have a healthy does of skepticism. If we run it for a balance date in the past today it will act like a DeLorean Time Machine and tell us what the outstanding balances and over-due amounts were at that point in time.E.G. - we run it on 03/08/23 but put a Balance Date of 30/05/23 we will see invoices that had just been generated as Outstanding but nothing in Overdue. We then run on 03/08/23 putting a Balance Date of 31/07/23 if that customer was on net-30 day terms and had not paid the Balance it would show as overdue. Even if they had made the payment on 01/08/23. Hoping this is true - if it is, it had saved me a lot of custom dev work!

In FSM6 Update 25, a new enhancement has been added to reduce the messages being extracted between FSM Server and Mobile.  What is the logic that determines “If an update message from FSM Server is not relevant to any of the fields used in FSM Mobile designs?”The name of the new app param indicates that the logic may only be checking if a field exists on a screen in the mobile client.  What about other field changes that are not on a screen but are used in logic to determine behavior?  For example, a client script could select user_def25 from the mobile database, but if that field is not on a screen, an update on the server will not be sent down to mobile.

Community,what is the best practice for us on APP10 without CRO (Component Repair Order)?currently our site in Canada manufactured the product and sell to our sister company in Germany.  currently we don’t have a best practice process (my thoughts) defined in IFS. We are still using RMA to return to Canada site, and lots of manual jobs.my thought isexternal service order at Germany side to send the product for service to Canada Canada site will create service request and receive order (CRO) to receive the product to Canada facility, meantime, create customer order for ship back the product to Germany. Create Repair Work Order from service request. complete the repair service and ship back to Germany.please share your thoughts.Thank you.

Hello,running this window: Access → All (after searching for any business activity) causes a complete IFS system freeze.It refers to the view rm_acc_priv_all. Executing an SQL query that counts the rows in this view takes almost 40 minutes for me (select count(*) from rm_acc_priv_all).Is there any way to fix this issue? Best regardsMartinator

This is for IFS Apps 10.Strangely, there are no records if you search for Main Type RWC from Text Translations window in IEE and also in the database tables. If I export RWC language files (Export All - Core - RWC - All modules - English + other languages selected) => I get 0 files exported.The lng files in the build home have the entries as usual and the application translates well to mainly used languages.Note: Cannot even see any entry (with no other filter) having PATH like %frm% or %col% or %tbw% or %dlg% The following are the only main types I can see in the database and client. (logged in with IFSAPP) same in our TEST and PROD environments.Any idea what might be wrong? TIA

Hello, I am in need of some help with a Work Order/Work Task connection issue in Aurena (IFS Apps 10 UPD 15). After creating a Work Order and selecting the Work Task, I attempt to click the Pre Posting button and receive the following error message.   This functionality works fine in IEE, and I am not sure what needs enabled in Aurena to allow this same behavior. Any guidance would be appreciated. 

Community, searched in the community,  I don’t think I have got what I need. below is the scenarioBelgium Site send purchase order to Canada site, so intersite order created at both sites (Belgium site purchase order, Canada site customer order). Belgium site make changes, cancel purchase order lines. instead of using “Send Change Request”, Belgium site sent message using “Send Order”.This scenario ends up in below consequencesCanada site approves the incoming message, result in error, customer order already exist Belgium site realized the error and tried to send “Send Change Request” again,  but the message does not include changes (cancelled purchase order lines), and it does not make any changes to the customer order in Canada site. We assume the changes have been consumed by the previous message that was sent wrongly.Question is, how we could handle this kind of scenario? either we could make Belgium site send change request include the change info or we could do unpegging and make

Hi,Customer has an “issue” (for them this is really an issue) when completing a checklist.When they enter a decimal value quietly, as soon as the green check is displayed (I guess auto validation) the value is rounded to an integer and loose the decimal separator.If we type enough quickly, it’s OK, the decimal separator is kept.Is there any parameter for that ? I’ve attached a small video to illustrate.

Dear community,my goal is to import an e-invoice (xml) to IFS via sftp. But it doesn’t work. IFS doesn’t take the xml file from our (internal) sFTP server. The settings in IFS connect works for other imports.If I change the “Location Type” to File then it works fine.Does anybody have experiences? Thank you.
