Hello,

does anyone know, if it is possible to export data from an IFS Applications environment via FNDMIG_EXPORT into IFS Cloud environment via FNDMIG_IMPORT?

I tried, but it seems, that it doesn´t work.

From Apps to Apps it is possible, from Cloud to Cloud as well.

Thank you in advance,

Johannes

Hi @Johannes Kopfer

Yes, I’ve done this several times without any problems.

Prerequisite:

In the migration job FNDMIG_EXPORT, tab RULES, the rule id DEPLOYFILE must be set to “Inactive”.

Questions:

  • Do you get any kind of error when importing the file using the migration job FNDMIG_IMPORT?
  • Do you get an information/window after the import? If so what is the content of this information/window?
  • Which IFS Applications release are you using (10, 9, 8, 7.5,...)?
  • How big is your file to import? Do you probably get a time out by the IFS Cloud client?
