Hello Community!! I need to disable the order attachement button in Customer Support orders in Security Setup.We need to capture notes for future site reference and Agents are consistently clicking the wrong button.   

Hello,I am attempting to use a Manufacturing Control Plan to allow an associate to record a Part Number etching on a part we produce. However, the part make contain alphabet and numerical i.e. - 12345ACRev2. Essentially, I would like to have the employee record the part number that was etched in a control plan analysis and have that checked against the value on the CP. I was using variable and setting the outer min, nominal, and outer max to the part number. This was working. However, it does not appear to accept letters. I am hoping there is another way to achieve this in IFS (IFS Apps 10 UDP 15). Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello,I am trying to update a line in the Purchase Order (view PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_PART). I want to update a price for several lines at the same time. Every time when I am trying to do that I have the following error message:Entering a new line works perfectly, but the update of existing line doesn’t work. Has anybody encountered the following problem? Is it possible to update the Purchase Line with the Excel Add-In? Thank you in advance,

In Apps 10 we had a full text search in Docman which was initially served by the Search Domains functions. I can't find such a search in Cloud 21R1 anymore. Does this mean for Cloud 21R1 that there is no full text search anymore? What are the alternatives?GreetingsOliver

Hi Team,I have transferred an updated EPR Structure to a Manufacturing Structure and set it to Plannable as I always do, but for some strange reason MRP is failing to plan for the child parts. There is significant forecast demand that is appropriately driving demand for other parts in the same parent structure.Is anyone familiar with this error we are seeing when trying to create a Prototype Shop Order?Any thoughts would be appreciated.Thanks,Wade

Hello,I am trying to migrate the Supplier for Purchase Part in IFS Cloud.I encountered the following error:“ORA-20110: TaxHandlingUtil.INVTAXCODE2: You are not allowed to use Tax Codes of type Tax with percentage greater than 0%.”I think that the problem is that for one site the field Tax Code is blocked:As for the other site, the field is “unblocked”:Is there any specific setup on site level that needs to be done to have this field avaliable for the Supplier for Purchase Part page? Thank you in advance,

The user wanted to close the 300+ old service orders in bulk but did not want to send an email to the customer for the same. We have created the import for bulk service orders but are not sure how to prevent sending emails to customers from that. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello all.One of our sales people has recently swapped from an iPhone to an Android device and is having trouble with the Android version of the Trip Tracker app.It’s all good until they try to End and Send and Expense Only Trip to the Cloud - then Error:ORA:20110: Employee Position is not valid during travel end date.Exactly the same Expense Only Trip can be sent from an iPhone with no problems (I’ve tested a mirror copy of the erroring Trip with my dev iPhone) so the issue definitely resides within the Android app. The error is all the more puzzling as there is no facility for actually specifying an End Date for an Expense Only Trip within the Android app - which is is bit rubbish really. So if the Trip has no End Date, it’s no wonder the Employee Position isn’t valid.. ?Has anyone ever got Trip Tracker to work with Android using Expense Only Trips ?

I found a couple of questions on this topic and one idea that is related, but I’m going to ask my question anyway considering the other questions have gone unanswered and the idea wall gives a bleak possibility for this being fixed any time soon.Has anyone found a more efficient way of adding sites for a user in IFS Cloud?  The only page I’ve found for doing this is from Sites per User, and it isn’t just cumbersome as has been mentioned, it is downright obnoxiously slow.In V9, I went to a user, added two sites for a user and saved, there is a built in IFS function to add in the company for the user that they weren’t previously granted.  It took less than 30 seconds from searching the user, adding the sites and saving the record.In Cloud 22R1, the same evolution requires more than a minute and that time becomes significantly longer if the number of sites is more than a couple to add or the company needs added.  Can be literally 5 times as long to do the same task.V9, the UI allows just

Hi,Is there a limited size for attachments to be added and downloaded from ALLIANCE ?We are fronting an issue with big attachments where download doesn’t have any effect (pr may be too long).  

I am in the process of creating a design for a customer using FSM6 update 25. I need to add a new custom screen but when trying to add the screen, the drop down list for the “Screen Type” field is missing the “Standard” option. All others however exist. The message_id ‘Standard’ (message_type=CODE) exists in the metrix_message_def table. Also, the table metrix_code_table does include the row code_name=’MM_SCREEN_TYPE”, code_value = ‘STANDARD’ and active=’Y’.Any ideas what is missing?
