Financials > Cash Book > Mixed PaymentConsidering that there is no possibility of the bank balance being negative, but as you can see in the picture, the bank balance in the cash account is negative, and in addition, we can make another payment from the same cash account. Our question is, why does IFS allow the bank balance to become negative?Is there a logical reason for this? Best Regards

Hi all,We are preparing for the upgrade from IFS9 to IFS10 and in the process we would like to clean up unused items as much as possible.Over the years we have created a lot of quick reports and we lost track on their functionality and whether they are still used or not.Is it possible to enable some sort of history logging on them so we can get an idea about who are still using them or at least get an insight on if and how many times reports are used?Thanks in advance for any help.Remy

We are on IFS APPS 9 have deployed a single IFS Timeclock to multiple stations on the floor. We have deployed the same Security Permission Set for use with every Time clock user.  On some terminals, clicking the “Time Card” button and entry of a valid Employee ID takes the terminal offline and throws the error below.  This is not happening consistently on every terminal.  Any ideas?  Are there any PC specific set ups required? 

When printing a standard IFS report in the language chines (zh)  the labels in the report appears as set of boxes. Language files and the translations files are re-imported but still the it display as boxes. When login in chines the application terms translates to chines without any issue.  Is there any specific setting I’m missing that required to run a standard IFS report in Chines?  For example when trying to print a IFS report in chines (zh) the report displays as follows:

  Hi,In a SV, at the installed item level, a MOE allows you to no longer authorize the deletion of the equipment, so the "trash" icon disappears from this screen, which is desired in the use case But, from this screen if we click on the components icon, then at the components screen, you have the trash icon and you can therefore remove a component. I couldn't find any MOE.There is an MOE to prevent the Tech to modify the data component’s,  but he can still delete it. Do we have another MOE to avoid the deletion ? Or a way by customisation to remove the “trash”icon  ? See on the attachments, some screenshots.Thanks and Regardsanthony

As per customer requirement, they need Stage application DB name to be change from EXXXXXX_NEW to EXXXXXX.  Is there any impact of this change on the application.  Is there anything we need to configure or re-configure after updating the DB Name?

Hi, We have found that when we create a Service Order (directly or via a Filed Quotation), after saving, the comments in Activity 1 will contain the wording from the Long Description on the main tab.We are not sure if that is default behaviour or not so need to know if that is normal or we need to raise a support request?  If normal, is there any way to select to do that or turn it off?Thank you. 

when there is no direct mapping, a custom method is the usual way to set up a transformation.Instead of using a method, can we use a custom field  to set up an Object Connection Transformation when the direct mapping fields are not available in the Target?the custom filed is not coming up in the LOV of available fields for me.

This is probably a simple question to answer, but when does depreciation start for a capex purchase? I always thought it tied to the date of actually receiving the item, or even putting it into service, but I heard from someone recently that it begins when the PO for the capex item is simply released… is that correct?Maybe this is configurable which could explain the different answers, and if so could someone point me to that?Many thanks,Nick

Hi all,A customer is installing Aurena Agent using their remote software installation procedure to all users in a group. What they have done isMass rollout the .msi file. Pushed silent installation with the TEST environment url. Chrome extension was pushed out and enabled successfully for Chrome. Extension was installed on Edge too. Above worked. Question:How do we now change the url to PROD? Uninstall and reinstall with correct url? Hello, Currently, we are using WADACO to directly issue component material to a Shop Order via Manual Issue Shop Order Part. This has been working well. However, I have noticed that there does not appear to be a command to unissue material in the event a transactional mistake has been made. Looking through the WADACO user guide, I do not see a command that indicates it is possible to do, is this correct?Any guideance would be appreciated. 

Hello - if I print off a handling unit label from a shipment in Apps9 there is a space for Supplier Code - however in my system the value is null and I can’t locate where in the UI that this field gets it data from, anyone able to help me please, thanks.

Hi,  For a use case, a technician installed a material (fulfilling the material order) as a component by mistake. When we are at this step, the part is a component of the installed item.Could we have a way in mobile edge to go back and only declare the part as an installed item and not a component ? If we go through a desinsallation, the part is deleted and not installed independently as installed item (and not component)In the backend, we can reactivate it, but i'm not sure we have this option in mobile edge ? Thanks and Regards. 

Is it possible to add a duration to the date in date fields? For example, for the "Wanted Delivery Date" in the customer order: "TODAY" + 1 month or "TODAY" + 20 days.Comparable logics are also helpful. Many thanks in advance and best regardsRolf

Hello, I'm using document management in APP10When I send an instant invoice using message class INVOIC, media code E-INVOICE, the image of the invoice is automatically attached in Attachments /Documents The document revision for such invoice is in Released status, because it is automatically changed from Preliminary to Approved and then Released.Why does the document revision not remain in the Preliminary status?There is no approval template or event action Is this an intended behavior of the application?Is it a matter of setup?Best regards,Aneta

We had a user accidentally hide the bottom section on the Manual Supplier Invoice page.It took a while to figure out what the problem was.  The change to the page persisted through logging out and back in again.  Other than figuring out that she had dragged a section down to hide it - is there a simple way to return a single page in IFS to it’s previous default view for a user that change it?Thanks for your time and knowledge in reading this...This was the page:Here is is after she accidentally pulled down and hid the 3rd section of the page: 

Is it possible to prevent database authentication with Aurena, leaving only the SSO option available to users, at least for external-facing IFS Cloud sites?This is with IFS Cloud.It seems like it should be feasible but I’ve not yet found any clear documentation on how to go about the process if it is.Thanks,Nick
