Hello everyone, I can't find the entity (SourceLinesAvailableForShipment) for view ‘Available Lines for Shipments’ to add custom attribute. I also searched in additional view of each entity and still nothing.Has anyone found maybe how to add a custom attribute for this entity?Thanks!

A beautiful good morning to everyone! :)Is there a way to controll in an IFS BR file for the status of a purchase receipt?I cannot find the status in the light items nor in any of the linked dimensions.My current workaround would be to extract all receipts filtered for the cancelled status from the IFS App 10 GUI and add them manually to the executed report afterwards and link the status for the cancelled ones with a lookup and remove those receipts this way.Does anyone have a better idea?Manipulating the information source itself could be an option?I wouldn’t know how to do that currently, though.The overall goal is to produce a GRNI Report.Best regards,Benny

Hi, FSM Installer package shows “FSM Mobile Service” component like below in On-premise upgradeBUT, same package does not show the option “FSM Mobile Service”, when upgrading the Azure installation. Mobile.zip files exists with in root folder of the package.Should the same zip file be copied to somewhere else to make it available for Azure? /Sanjeewa

Hi Experts,Appreciate your input regarding the following issue.Issue:- In customer’s Environment Mobile client Home screen is not loading when accessing with role, when they are removing the role then the screen is loading or if they clone the existing role and create a new role then with that new role the home screen is loading but not loading with the existing role.Also, why is this issue occurring for the specific role, but not for the cloned role?    

FSM Release 6, Smartclient. We need to include the ability to add attachments to the FSM Escalation screen. I see a few tables such as PLACE_ATTACHMENT which allows for linking PLACE to ATTACHMENT. Do I have to create something similar for the ESCALATION table? Add a child relationship to ESCALATION screen to add the ATTACHMENT tab? Any step by step guidance from someone who’s done this process and can offer direction would be appreciated. Don’t want to miss steps with creating custom metadata, etc. Thank you

Hello, I am hoping to clarify my understanding of Work Center capacity. Currently, we setup all Work Centers as Infinite Capacity (on Sched Capacity). We run calculate capacity and the WC Capacity tab populates.Given that the work center is defined as infinite capacity, does that mean the WC Capacity dates are not relevant to the Shop Order scheduling? As an example, one of our WCs calculated to 8/31/2023 on the WC Capacity tab, however, we are not having any issues with releasing Shop Orders against the WC beyond 8/31. My assumption is that this is due to the WC being defined as Infinite Capacity.  

Hi All, I’m adding a bookmark of ‘Service Quotation’ but IFS Cloud automatically adds a filter which is the selected Service Quotation when you open the window. But I don’t need/want that filter. is there a way to remove it? IFS does not do this for ‘Sales Quotation’ so why is 'Service Quotation’ any different? Best RegardsRoel

Hi Team, We have situation where we Subscription charges which may consist Digital Charges and also ecommerce subscriptions. We have a designated expense code for Subscription charges and this will reflect in given account according to posting control. We would like to see the break down between Digital and Ecommerce charges and checked whether this can be fulfilled using the Process Code functionality. When checked in the application it was noticed that the process code can be used in the invoice modules but not displayed in expense sheet to select.  Can anyone let us know whether this is possible and if so how it is done?

​Hi,I am trying to set the budget in demand planner in Cloud23r1 by executing the job set budget base The help text states that this should copy the adjusted forecast to budget, which is what I want“System EffectsThis job causes the adjusted forecast to be copied to the budget line for all parts, so after this you will have a budget value on all parts that are based equal to the adjusted forecast of all parts.”However the job seems to be copying the system forecast rather than the adjusted forecast to the budget, meaning any changes that have been made and approved by the demand planners is not being reflected. The same also occurs if I copy to target sales plan rather than budget.  Is there a setting somewhere that allows you to switch between adjusted and system, or is the system/documentation incorrect? ThanksAndy​

Hi, we are using IFS cloud in conjunction with PSO and MWO.  We have a set up where we have a single work task that is planned via PSO and then sent to MWO. Everything here is fine. However, sometimes a second person is required on site to assist. We accomplish this by adding a new resource line on the work task. This in turn sends a new allocation over to PSO and schedules the work accordingly.  The issue I have is when we commit the work Allocation in PSO and send to Mobile each user has to run through the same work flows and survey etc on MWO. We want the lead worker to complete all surveys etc in MWO and the second user just to be able to arrive on site and then set the status as completed when they have finished and not have to complete the surveys etc.  Is this possible?

Hi,On the document : V6 Through 15.4 SU2 Feature Comparison we have a functionality Time of Day Travel. I think that function is linked to the transaction Time slot DSE.Could you explain how does it work ?What settings in the DSE session is linked to this Time Slot ?Traffic conditions at a particular time slot is not equal for each location : For example Traffic conditions at 8/10 AM in Paris/London is not equal for the same time slot in a suburban area / rural area.In the same way At 8/10 AM in Paris/London on Monday is not equal that on Saturday.So, I would like to know the usage and impact of this functionality ?thanks and Regardsanthony

We are on Appsv9, and have just applied update 16. We have noticed that on occasions, Print Manager is erroring with ‘No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service’. Obviously this is only on documents that are generated via Crystal Web Service. We have 3 x Crystal Web Services running and as far as I can remember, we have not seen this issue in Apps v9 before. The error in the Crystal Web Service log is: 18/03/2020 15:23:06[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9Lb]-[GetSavedPDFReport] The web instance is busy. The request will be forwarded to the next available instance. Has anyone else had this? has anyone seen this behaviour after an update? (we were on update 12). My guess would be to create a couple more Web services, but i suspect something somewhere has changed, for this to become a problem now. I believe we are only seeing this when the system is busy. Afternoon, I’ve noticed recently within our application messages we’re getting ‘spammed’ every 10 seconds with a failure for the same error. It seems to state the following for IFSAPP.  When I read the XML message embedded it states the issue could be with NotifyMe app which we don’t use currently;<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA><APP_NAME>NotifyMe</APP_NAME><CLEAN_LOAD>FALSE</CLEAN_LOAD></MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA>I tried to edit ‘Installed Apps/Devices’ for NotifyMe however, I get the exact same error within there also. Any ideas on how to resolve, we’re on Apps 10 Upd12.Thanks

I’m wondering if anyone has managed to generate QR codes to be scanned via a zebra handheld? My preference would be to use Crystal Reports (Report def: Inventory_Part_Barcode_Rep) which when printed would create the QR code with some additional basic data (Part no etc). I’ve looked through the community and haven’t seen anyone create any guides or best practices on how to implement QR codes within Crystal. The potential method I can see is using IDAutomation however, I didn’t know if there’s any alternative or a guide to follow? We currently have access to IFS Report Designer and Crystal Reports 2016 which we can use to create 2d barcodes however, realistically I’d like to generate a QR code using GS-1 Barcode Parameters. E.g. similar to below however, instead using a QR code.Thanks all

We want to report all activities as been done at the customer or remotly from our helpdesk.We would like to use the field Location in the activity demands to mark the difference:We use Customer Support module in v15.4.4.0 where phone sessions are automatically added in the order. But the Location is set “On Site” by default. Can we change this to be set to “Last Known Location” by default ?Same happens if we manually add an activity in the Customer Support Order, the activity is also set “on Site “by default” In mobile Edge, the default is correctly “At Site”
