There seems to be a bug pertaining to the date of the last action field. For example, if I create an event monitor where I want to find all events where the “Follow-up Request” action was the last action taken, it works correctly. But, if I indicate that I’d like to find events where that action was taken, say, at least 5 days ago or more, the date filter doesn’t apply. In fact, it’ll still show events where the action was taken the same day that I am running the query. I’ve tried looking in the release notes but I can’t find any mention of this bug. My organization is running on assyst 11.2.3.

Hi!  I need to connect a person to multiple Maintenance organizations in app 8 but I can´t find where to add another Maint org? Under employees the employee has one Maint org but how to add another one? Do I add the user a second time as employee with the same user ID and the order maint org?  Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if it’s possible to schedule a Task between particular times?  I’m looking to scheduled a task daily to run every two minutes but only between 6am and 8pm each day.       Any PL/SQL assistance would be appreciated.   Many thanks.

The company templates are not setup with any posting control for importing opening balances for ongoing lease contracts. Anyone who has a proposal for how to set it up for FAP93, FAP94, FAP95 and FAP3? BR Eva

In the Contacts module, there is now an “Erase Contact Data” option (V15.4.2.0) but it clears all active and history for that Contact and we do not want our users to use it.Is there a way to hide that option altogether?  Or control who can see it? or just prevent a user from using it?We tried just turning off the Delete option for Contacts in Security setup, but that did not affect this feature at all.Any advice would be welcome, thank you 

Working in IFS CloudI am looking into implementing Work Instructions in Workbench through Work Guidelines. Our current routings structures are very template oriented, including Standard Operations as much as possible.I am trying to work out how to get Media attached to lower level objects to flow up to the next level, ie Pictures connected to a Work Guideline Template to move to a Standard Operation when attached, then to a Routing Template Operation, etc. Ultimately the goal is for media attached at any step in the chain to be connected at the Routing level and ultimately within the Operation Guide in Workbench.A few of these connections are standard functionality and work as expected, a couple I have had to manually enable MediaLibrary service and create Object Connection Transformations to connect these items, and in certain cases I can bypass the intermediate steps and make it work, for example anything with a Work Guideline Template connected works. However I can’t make the connec

Hi Everyone, Sometime back i had seen delete bulk option in Import/Export (in Import Option) in IFS FSM. I am aware that it can be enabled if needed. Could someone please help where is that option and how can we enable the same?

In Page Designer, when expanding out contents to show the fields, there is an option titled “Default to Previous”.  Can anyone explain what this controls or what it does.  I have not found anything in the technical documentation.  Screenshot is attached for reference.Thanks!  

Greetings, IFS community! Documents are saved in the database and not on an external FTP server.  Will it be possible to search for a document using words that are contained within the document as parameters? I am capable of searching and creating simple queries and quick reports in DOCMAN that utilize custom fields and fields from the tables.  However, I am trying to conduct a search within the attached document for keywords.  Would this be possible? Could you please provide me with some instructions on how to accomplish this if it is possible?  We are using IFS 10 Thank you.

Hi,In the last Release we have a new functionality to allow multi selection of contracts in Filters.I assume that we don’t have this option in a QBE in the service order transaction for example.Do you know if it’s possible to add this option in many  main QBE (Service order, repair order, customer support, general queue, etc.)it could be a nice feature because we often do multi selection in QBE. Regards

Hi,Status Invoiceable is set by default on the created Work Task Sales lines whenever there is a customer added on the work task. Customer scenario is that IFS Cloud (currently in 22R2 SU10) is used as an EAM solution and not as an ERP. Invoices are not managed in IFS Cloud. However they do need to connect each Work Task to the relevant Customer, which leads to all Work Task Sales Lines to be created as “invoiceable” by default.In order to close Work Orders and Work Tasks, the customer has to manually set all Work Task Sales Lines to “not invoiceable”A setting to change this default behavior did not exist in Apps 10 according to this post: Has it been introduced in IFS Cloud and if so in which version?If this functionality does not exist, is there a way to use Page Designer to set the field “State” to the value “not invoiceable” by default?ThanksKind regardsLénaïc

We have uploaded a file using the FA_Object_Import File Template.  The file loaded with no errors & IFS gave us a message that assets were created; however, we do not see the assets anywhere in IFS: We noticed there is no Record Set No or Record Type ID in the External File Transactions screen:Here is the template:

Hi,When importing the template project file for 23R1 I get below error message.  From Background job error textunable to extend index IFSAPP.DAT_TEMPLATE_LOAD_PK by 128 in tablespace IFSAPP_INDEX     ORA-20110: DatFileOperationUtil.ORA-01654Has anyone encounter the same error or can help to resolve this error please?I was using IFS demo environment https://ifs23r1costestlkp.rnd.ifsdevworld.com/  with Alain credentials to import the template project. Thanks!

My customer gets all it new requests from SAP integration in 23R1.  The requests is created the same as would be done manually with these steps:New Request - identify customer, location, problem, Service Catalog, and severity. Request Details - select View and Release which creates the tasks that will be assigned manually or by PSO. MWO - technician accepts, travels to, starts work, and completes the task. Integration sends the completed tasks, documents, and survey responses to SAP.The tasks in IFS Cloud are only useful for a short period of time, lets say 30 days, and they accumulate quickly, affecting query performance.    They want to know how to purge those tasks and if we have a way to do this.  I could not find a ready made projection or product that addresses this issue.  Can you provide me with some help on this topic?

Hello Community -I am looking for the setting where I do not have to use the line ID ref number in the posting information section of the supplier invoice posting proposal.  If there are multiple lines in the line information section, I want to combine them into one line to post and it is not allowing a net amount entered without a line ID reference.  I have it set this way on one of our companies so I know there is a setting to do this.  TIA 

Hi, Simply wondering if there is a way to create a model event for events of the Service Request type? It seems to be possible for Changes, Incidents and Problems, but not Service Requests. Perhaps it is possible in the latest versions (my organization is running on assyst 11.2.3), but workarounds are appreciated as well. Thanks!

During the upgrade testing for android 6u24, we have found that android by default is blocking permission when saving attachments to storage.  Additionally, taking photos outside of the application - the directory is unable to be opened to locate the attachmentments. Are there any permission changes or configuration changes to allow this to happen? 

I’m working in IFS Cloud.  I am creating Advanced Searches to save in the base profile.  My versions are below:IFS Cloud Web version: 22.2.4.20230105140629.0 IFS OData provider version: 22.2.4.20230106102343.0I create the following search using the basic search:((Objstate = IfsApp.ActivityListHandling.ActivityState'Released') AND ActivityResponsible = '#PERSON_ID#') AND PlannedCost > 0I need it to look for costs where Actual are more than planned, so I modify it to this one:((Objstate = IfsApp.ActivityListHandling.ActivityState'Released') AND ActivityResponsible = '#PERSON_ID#') AND PlannedCost < ActualCostIt does not work until I replace #PERSON_ID# with the logged in user.  I’ve experienced this on several searches.  Is this a known bug?
